Abstract

Introduction: One effort to maximize hospital functions is to improve administrative services to support other services. Administrative services require office stationery (ATK). Research explains that there is a relationship between the procurement of office stationery and service quality. So it is necessary to manage office stationery properly. Research objective: To describe the process of receiving, storing and dispensing office stationery at Bhayangkara Tk II Sartika Asih Bandung (RSBSA). Research method: This research is descriptive observational quantitative research. The research location is in the RSBSA (office stationery) warehouse. Data collection techniques use observation and interviews. Research Results: The process of receiving goods (office stationery) at the RSBSA warehouse has been checked and it is in accordance with what was submitted. The process of storing goods (office stationery) in the RSBSA warehouse uses the FIFO and FEFO methods although the storage activities are not neatly organized. Implementation of the process of releasing goods (office stationery) at the RSBSA warehouse has included filling in goods request receipts, checking goods in the warehouse, sending goods according to goods request receipts (office stationery), planning goods to be issued according to unit needs, recording in the expedition book, taking notes reducing items on the stock card and entering data as comparison material. Conclusion: receiving, storing and releasing goods (office stationery) at the Bhayangkara Tk II Sartika Asih Bandung Hospital has been carried out according to the flow

Abstract

Background : Diabetes mellitus is a type of non-communicable disease if left unchecked can lead to complications, one form of which is sensory neuropathy. The treatment that needs to be done is by doing physical exercises in the form of diabetic foot exercises to increase the sensitivity of the feet in patients with diabetes melitus. Objective : Identify the effect of foot exercise on increasing foot sensitivity before and after being given foot exercise. Method : Analytic descriptive case study using a nursing care approach with 2 respondents.  Result : There is a big influence on increasing the sensitivity of the feet from respondents 1 of 4 areas that cannot feel the sensation to 1 area that cannot feel the sensation of monofilament. Whereas in respondents 2 of 5 areas cannot feel the sensation to 3 areas cannot feel the sensation of monofilament. Conclusions : After doing foot exercises 3x in 1 week for 30 minutes showed an increase in foot sensitivity

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension is recognized globally as a major public health problem. Antihypertensive drugs are effective in lowering blood pressure, but the achievement rate is still low worldwide. Although antihypertensive drugs can control blood pressure, low physical activity is a risk factor for hypertension mortality. Therefore, increasing physical activity through aerobic exercise is a recommendation for complementary therapy for the treatment of hypertension. Simultaneous implementation of moderate to high intensity exercise and weight loss through diet has been identified to be able to lower blood pressure more. And the content in tomatoes can lower blood pressure. Research Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of aerobics and the administration of tomato juice on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients at the Kartika Clinic 0730 Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta. Research Method: This research is a quantitative experimental study with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample is 30 people with purposive sampling technique. The intervention was carried out 4 times for 2 weeks. Aerobic exercise is carried out for 30 minutes and 150 cc of tomato juice without sugar. Data analysis used paired t-test. Research Results: The results of the analysis show that there is an effect of aerobics and tomato juice on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients at the Kartika Clinic 0730 Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta. Conclusion: Aerobic exercise and giving tomato juice can reduce blood pressure in hypertension sufferers.

Abstract

Introduction: The application of electronic medical records is increasing in developing countries, including Indonesia. Electronic medical records are increasingly being implemented in hospitals to achieve improved service quality. The increasing number of hospital investments in information systems indicates that hospitals understand the importance of end-user and system-user satisfaction. User satisfaction is one way to determine the effectiveness and success of an information system. Research explains that information quality influences user satisfaction. Research objective: to determine the relationship between information quality and user satisfaction with electronic medical record services at outpatient hospital Queen Latifa Yogyakarta. Research Method: this research is quantitative. The population is officers who input medical record data into Sitiql (electronic medical records). The sampling technique uses accidental sampling. The sample was 81 people. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. Data analysis uses Spearman rank. Research results: explain that the p-value is 0,596, namely that there is no relationship between the quality of information and the satisfaction of users of electronic medical record services at RSU Queen Latifa Yogyakarta. Conclusion: Information quality cannot increase user satisfaction with electronic medical record services at RSU Queen Latifa Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Introduction: The increasing number of new hospital growth can trigger competition between hospitals. Market segmentation needs to be done with the aim of marketing can be done optimally. Purpose of the study: to determine market segmentation based on the characteristics of health service users in the non-mental outpatient clinic of Menur Mental Hospital, East Java Province. Research Methods: This type of research is quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The population was non-mental outpatients of Menur Mental Hospital, East Java Province, totaling 99 respondents. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis using non-hierarchical cluster test. Research Results: shows that market segmentation in the non-life outpatient clinic of Menur Mental Hospital is divided into three segments. Segment I is hospital care maximizer, segment II is hospital care minimizer, segment III is hospital care aversion. Conclusion: Market segmentation at Menur Mental Hospital, East Java Province is grouped into three segments, namely hospital care maximizer, hospital care minimizer, and hospital care aversion.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease that is increasingly preval_ent in the global community, including in Indonesia. In Sungaibuntu Village, the preval_ence of obesity and hypertension is quite high, while the community still lacks understanding and awareness of the dangers and early symptoms of DM. Therefore, an appropriate Information Education Counseling (IEC) program is essential to increase community knowledge and awareness, so that they can actively participate in maintaining their health. This study was a descriptive observational study with a one group pretest-posttest research design conducted on the community of Sungaibuntu Village, Karawang Regency, with a sample of 71 people selected by purposive sampling. Research data were collected using a questionnaire related to community knowledge about DM, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent sample T-test. The results showed a significant change in knowledge between before and after the IEC treatment. In addition, the IEC proved to be effective in increasing respondents' knowledge about DM. Hopefully, the results of this study can be an input in efforts to prevent and control DM for the participants

Abstract

Introduction: The World Health Organization (WHO) states that one in three people is diagnosed with hypertension, and only 36.8% of them are undergoing treatment. In Indonesia, the age group with the highest hypertension is the elderly. Research Objective: To determine the relationship between age and occupation with the incidence of hypertension in Sungaibuntu. Research Method: Quantitative analytical research with a cross sectional research design, using primary data through questionnaires and blood pressure measurements on research respondents, namely residents of Sungaibuntu. Research Results: There is a significant relationship between age and systolic blood pressure (p=0.0001), and there is a significant relationship between age and diastolic blood pressure (p=0.018). Meanwhile, for the work variable, there was no relationship between work and systolic blood pressure (p=0.335), and there was no significant relationship between work and diastolic blood pressure (p=0.223). Conclusion: There is a positive correlation between age and systolic blood pressure and age and diastolic blood pressure, meaning that the higher the age, the higher the incidence of hypertension. Meanwhile, work was not related to the incidence of hypertension in respondents in Sungaibuntu.

Abstract

In 2023, as man as 14.81% of nurses at the RSUD Haji didn’t pass infection prevention and control training with a standart of 100%. The purpose of this research is influence of the value of infection prevention and control training and frequency of training on the performance of nurses at the RSUD Haji. This research method uses a questionnaire with a total sampling of 27 respondents from nurses at the RSUD Haji, with a quantitative research type and a cross-sectional research design. The results of this research include descriptive analysis and logistic regression tests. Where the results of the data analysis show that the value of infection prevention and control training (0.038 < 0.05) and the frequency of training (0.020 < 0.05) influence the performance of nurses at the RSUD Haji. Meanwhile, the variables age, length of service and level of education have no effect on the performance of nurses at the RSUD Haji. The training frequency variable is proven to have a significant influence on improving nurse performance. Suggestions that need are holding internal training and other health seminars.

Abstract

Medical waste management is very important because medical waste is dangerous and therefore poses a serious threat not only to patients and health workers but also to society and the environment. This research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge & attitudes of cleaning staff regarding medical waste management at Pidie Jaya Hospital, Pidie Jaya Regency. This type of research is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach. The populations in this study was 25 cleaning staff at Pidie Jaya Regional Hospital. The sampling technique uses total sampling. Data collection uses a questionnaire. Data analysis used the chi square statistical test. The results of the research explain that there is a relationship between the knowledge of cleaning staff and medical waste management at Pidie Jaya Regional Hospital, Pidie Jaya Regency. Apart from that, there is a relationship between the attitude of cleaning staf towards medical waste management at Pidie Jaya Hospital, Pidie Jaya Regency. So that good knowledge and attitudes among cleaning staff will ensure good medical waste management in hospitals.
