Aims JYOA strives to deepen the understanding of how outdoor activities contribute to the development and well-being of youth. By publishing evidence-based research, the journal aims to influence practices, programs, and policies that enhance young people physical, social, and emotional growth through outdoor experiences. Focus This journal zeroes in on the ways outdoor activities impact youth development. It highlights research that reveals how these experiences support physical health, social skills, and emotional resilience. The focus is on practical insights that show how outdoor environments can benefit young people. Scope This journal seeks to publish a broad range of scholarly articles, including: 1. Youth Development through Outdoor Activities: Studies exploring the influence of outdoor participation on physical health, mental well-being, and social growth in young individuals. 2. Effectiveness of Outdoor Programs: Research assessing educational and recreational outdoor programs—such as adventure and environmental education—on fostering youth development. 3. Social Skills Enhancement: Examination of how outdoor activities help develop social skills, including teamwork, leadership, and communication. 4. Health Benefits: Investigations into how engaging in outdoor activities promotes physical fitness, reduces stress, and improves overall health. 5. Participation Barriers and Motivations: Analysis of the factors affecting youth involvement in outdoor activities, including socio-economic barriers, access issues, and motivational aspects. 6. Emotional Resilience: Research on the role of outdoor activities in building emotional resilience, coping mechanisms, and mental health in young people. 7. Innovative Practices: Exploration of new and creative approaches to outdoor programming that effectively engage youth and address current challenges in outdoor education.

Abstract

Background: This article discusses the Coffee Shop and urban student lifestyle. The emergence of Coffee Shops is currently booming in big cities, one of which is Semarang City. Findings: The phenomenon of the rise of the Coffee Shop is currently being used for various purposes by all circles of society, one of which is as a student. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the background of students who like to visit Coffee Shops, and the changes in the lifestyle of students who are Coffee Shop fans. Methods: The research in this article uses a qualitative method with the subjects of Semarang State University (UNNES) students who like to visit Coffee Shops. The data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Articles are presented in descriptive form using consumption theory and lifestyle concepts. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate that there are several factors behind the student's fondness for visiting Coffee Shops, including: place factors, menu variations and tastes, friendship environment and social media. The interest of students in visiting these certainly causes a change in the lifestyle felt by students who are fans of Coffee Shops, namely: sleeping patterns, tastes in places to eat, appearance or clothing, active social media, and consumptive behavior.

Abstract

Background: This research aims to examine the simultaneous influence of actual and objective knowledge on risk perception. Methods: This study uses a quantitative approach and descriptive methods to present an objective and precise picture of the variables being studied. The population selected in this study includes all domestic tourists visiting the Ir. H. Djuanda Forest Park. Conclusion: The results of the study show that actual and objective knowledge simultaneously have a significant influence on visitors' risk perception. Findings: This finding suggests that the combination of direct experience (actual knowledge) and factual information (objective knowledge) has a significant impact on visitors' risk perception, allowing them to assess risk more accurately and informatively.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia’s fintech industry is rapidly growing, driven by the acceleration of digitalization during the pandemic and positive investor engagement in the Fintech category in ASEAN. Findings: As a developing country with a large unbanked population, the use of m-payments has the potential to help improve financial inclusion through better access to useful and affordable financial services. Methods: This study combines UTAUT2 and ECM to investigate factors that significantly influence the continuance intention in using m-payments among Gen Z as potential target customers in Indonesia. Conclusion: The findings showed that continuance intention to use m-payments was positively influenced by Habit, Hedonic Motivation, Satisfaction, Facilitating Condition. There is also an indirect effect of Performance Expectancy on continuance intentions through the mediation of the Satisfaction. In addition, the study found the mediating role of Performance Expectancy in the relationship between Effort Expectancy and Confirmation on Satisfaction.

Abstract

Background: One of the elements that is of concern to tourists and managers of tourist attractions is the factor of halal-friendly destination attributes which consist of aspects of social environment, halal-friendly facilities, halal-friendly services, halal food and beverages, and halal-friendly locals and staff. Findings: These five variables are the aspects most recognized by tourists to see whether the tourist object can be said to be halal or not. With the research object of Dunia Fantasi, the purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between halal-friendly destination attributes variable and experience (4Es) assisted by perceived value and satisfaction to revisit intention of DKI Jakarta Muslim tourists towards Dunia Fantasi. Methods: There are 14 hypotheses that will be tested in this study and use a descriptive and quantitative research design. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires cross-sectionally and using a non-probability sampling technique to 332 respondents. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Covariance Based (CB) type is used as a method to test the available hypotheses using SPSS and Lisrel 8.80 software. Conclusion: The results of the study show that halal-friendly destination attributes and experience (4Es) have a partial effect on perceived value, satisfaction, and revisit intention.

Abstract

Background: Pondok Cina Village is one of the areas of Depok City, West Java Province. This village is part of the Beji District, Depok. Administratively, each area is bordered by various roads. Findings: The cleanliness of garbage and gutters is good and residents are aware not to litter. Regarding waste disposal and management, residents are assisted by cleaning staff. However, there are still residents who burn and bury garbage. Recently, a communal toilet was built, which was previously intended for several houses but has now been built, so that one house already has its own toilet. Methods: The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research which is used to describe a phenomenon or symptom. Conclusion: After the community understands that the behavior of early childhood children who often throw tantrums when their wishes to use gadgets are not fulfilled is a problem, in the future they will automatically reduce the intensity of giving gadgets to early childhood children. The purpose of this project is to build public awareness of the importance of providing a parenting pattern in which good communication and interaction between parents and children is established to support child development. This project will involve target groups to be proactive in solving problems. Therefore, this program tries to empower a number of stakeholders to create independence for the Pondok Cina Village community in dealing with quality of life problems.
