Abstract

Banyaknya masyarakat yang memiliki ponsel cerdas membawa konsekuensi bahwa banyak informasi yang mereka sampaikan kepada orang lain melalui telepon atau SMS, termasuk sistem informasi akademik berbasis SMS. Keputusan untuk menggunakan teknologi komunikasi dalam bentuk SMS dipilih karena lebih praktis, ekonomis, dan efisien dalam menyampaikan informasi. Layanan pesan singkat (SMS) adalah teknologi yang populer dan banyak digunakan oleh berbagai kalangan masyarakat. Selain kepraktisannya, teknologi ini juga menawarkan tarif yang lebih terjangkau untuk pengiriman pesan dan transfer informasi dalam jumlah kecil dibandingkan dengan layanan suara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Informasi MI Mansyaul Huda Berbasis SMS yang memfasilitasi komunikasi antara sekolah dan orang tua siswa melalui layanan pesan singkat (SMS). Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan perancangan dan implementasi sistem yang memanfaatkan teknologi SMS Gateway, dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan model pendekatan Waterfall dalam perancangan SDLC. Langkah-langkah penelitian meliputi analisis sistem, perencanaan, analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, integrasi, dan pengujian. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan orang tua dapat menerima informasi terkait kegiatan siswa secara cepat dan efisien melalui SMS, sehingga mereka tidak perlu repot datang ke sekolah untuk mendapatkan informasi tersebut.

Abstract

It should be written in one paragraph consisting of a maximum of 200 words. For scientific articles, the abstract should provide an overview of the work. We strongly advise authors to use the following structured abstract style, but without headings: (1) Background: Place the question in a broad context and highlight the purpose of the study; (2) Methods: briefly describe the main methods or treatments applied; (3) Results: summarise the main findings of the article; (4) Conclusions: indicate the main conclusions or interpretations. The abstract should be an objective representation of the article and should not contain results that are not presented and substantiated in the main text and should not overstate the main conclusions.

Abstract

The case of KSP Indosurya has once again attracted public attention after the alleged perpetrator, who is also the founder of the cooperative, was acquitted by the Chief Judge of the West Jakarta District Court of all charges. The ruling stated that while the defendant was proven to have committed the alleged acts, they did not constitute a criminal offense but rather a civil matter. This verdict sparked widespread public reaction and became a trending topic on Indonesian Twitter. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify and classify public sentiment regarding the KSP Indosurya case using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The results show that negative sentiment dominated, leading to the conclusion that public sentiment on Twitter in Indonesia toward the KSP Indosurya case is predominantly negative. This conclusion is based on sentiment analysis of 1,200 data points using the Naïve Bayes method.

Abstract

Penusupan Village is located in Pangkah District, Tegal Regency. The limited use and implementation of information system technology in local governance have resulted in the village not yet having an optimal information system service for its residents. For example, population data management is still unclear—there are instances where names of deceased individuals remain listed as eligible voters, which should have already been addressed by the village's administrative services. This issue became the basis for designing an information system for Penusupan Village. An information system is a set of components that processes, stores, analyzes, and distributes information, consisting of people, technology, and work procedures to achieve specific goals. The proposed information system for Penusupan Village is developed in the form of a website, aimed at supporting data management and providing accessible information services for the community. The system design is carried out using the Scrum methodology as the research approach. Scrum is a process framework used to manage complex product development. The Penusupan Village information system website utilizes the Laravel framework for the back-end and Bootstrap for the front-end, supported by the PHP programming language. The use of PHP is intended to ensure the website functions dynamically while enabling faster, more secure, and more efficient development.

Abstract

Swiftlets are a type of bird with high economic value, especially due to their saliva, which is used as a raw material in health and beauty products. In swiftlet farming, maintaining optimal environmental conditions—specifically a temperature range of 26–29°C and humidity levels of 80–90%—is essential. However, two main challenges faced by swiftlet house owners are the difficulty in monitoring temperature and humidity in real-time and the increasing threat of nest theft. This study aims to develop a temperature, humidity, and security monitoring system for swiftlet houses based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using the MQTT Broker protocol. The system integrates the DHT11 sensor to measure temperature and humidity, an LDR sensor to detect light intensity, and a magnetic switch to monitor door access. The research methodology follows the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using the Waterfall model, with data collection techniques including literature studies, observation, and interviews. The development process involves system architecture design, hardware setup, data flow modeling, interface design, and system testing. The final outcome is an IoT-based monitoring system that provides real-time environmental data and security notifications via Telegram and a visual interface using Node-RED. Black box testing confirms that all sensors and notification systems function correctly as intended
