Abstract

Journalism is the activity of processing news materials, ranging from coverage to the preparation of a decent disseminated to the public. Journalism is defined as the activity of delivering messages to audiences through organized communication media. The purpose of this community service is to improve the quality of self, prepare students in the future to face the next, provide the ability to write news. In the community service conducted, there are implementation methods that are applied, among others, determining the criteria for participants to be invited to the activity, inviting participants, building an understanding of journalism, and providing motivation for journalistic skills to the younger generation. Journalism focuses on collecting news material, reporting events, writing news, editing news scripts, and presenting or disseminating news through the media. Elements in a news is the most important thing in the journalistic process. Elements in the news the most important is 5w+1H. These 5W+1H elements include, what, who, when, where, why, and how. Basic journalism training have a great influence on students in training and developing interests and talents in the world of journalism. Students also benefit from this activity, namely the ability to write news into an alternative profession in the future. With the implementation of this training, participants are expected to improve their knowledge and have the ability to write news.

Abstract

To contribute and lead the future, the young generation is an agent of change and a determinant of the future survival of the nation. They should be able to communicate well, including speaking in public. Speaking in public is not the same as speaking at home. Although not everyone has the ability to speak in public, everyone has a ability to talk. Just like today's younger generation, which needs guidance and attention to be able to perform with confidence in public. Early adolescence is an important period in a person's development, including the ability to speak in public. This ability will be very useful to them. Many high school students, especially the ninth grade, still feel distressed and nervous when speaking in public. This can cause them difficulties in conveying their ideas and ideas clearly. As a result, public speaking training should be designed specifically for ninth-grade high school students, especially in Sinjai 15th grade high school. The aim is to provide early supplies to students who will enter high school, as they will speak more often in public, such as in discussions in classes, presentations, and other events related to speaking in public.

Abstract

Abstrak Membaca dan memahami Al-Qur’an sangatlah penting bagi umat Islam karena Al-Qur’an merupakan sumber utama umat Islam dalam menjalankan kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun jika dilihat dari kemampuan membaca dan memahami Al-Qur’an, hasilnya akan berbeda-beda. Mengingat pentingnya pendidikan Al-Qur’an, maka adanya TK/TPA sebagai wadah untuk belajar dan oleh karena itu perlunya Pembina ataupun orang tua untuk memastikan setiap anak dapat membaca dan menulis Al-Qur’an dengan benar, kemudian mengimplementasikan isinya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sehingga dalam hal ini penulis melakukan penelitian yaitu pembinaan TK/TPA di desa Gantarang. Pelaksanaan pembinaan ini penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif yaitu menjelaskan dan menggambarkan secara spesifik berdasarkan kegiatan yang dilakukan melalui pengajaran. Hasil dari pembinaan ini, anak-anak dapat memahami dan membaca Al-Qur’an dengan baik dan benar serta anak-anak semakin rajin dan lancar dalam membaca Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Bimbingan agama dan pendidikan Al-Qur’an sudah hendaknya diberikan kepada anak-anak sedini mungkin, karena bimbingan atau pendidikan tersebut dimulaiketika mereka masih kecil dan dampaknya akan terlihat ketika kita sudah dewasa Jadi salah satu implementasi dari agenda ini adalah mengamalkan pengajaran hafalan Al-Qur’an dan hafalan surat-surat pendek serta ilmu-ilmu keislaman lainnya sejak masa kanak-kanak dan tumbuh kembangnya agar anak-anak mempunyai ahlak terpuji dengan menumbuhkan kebiasaan beramal soleh ,serta menjauhi hal-hal yang buruk agar anak dapat tumbh dan berkembang. Dan mendapatkan manfaat darinya agar kelak ia menjadi pengikut Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Al-Quran literacy play a very important role in preventing exegetical radicalism in society. The aim of this article is to explore how a deeper understanding of the Koran can be a solution to overcome the increasing threat of radicalism. This article highlights that interpretive radicalism is often the result of a shallow understanding of the Al-Quran text. This is due to a lack of in-depth understanding of the historical, cultural and social context. Therefore, education that leads to good Al-Qur'an literacy can be the most important defense in overcoming weaknesses and potential different understandings. You will not only understand the scriptures literally, but also the context, purpose, and wisdom behind each passage. This approach helps individuals develop a more enlightened understanding and be open to different interpretations. Second, this article highlights the importance of Qur'anic education and reading and writing not only for scholars and religious scholars, but also for ordinary people. Comprehensive and affordable Al-Quran education helps raise society's collective awareness and enables each individual to wisely filter evolving information and interpretations. At the end of the article, he concludes that education and knowledge of the Koran play an important role in preventing exegetical radicalism. A deep and holistic understanding of the Koran should make society more resistant to the influence of extremism and radicalism which can damage societal peace and harmony.

Abstract

Keterbatasan pengetahuan usia sekolah dasar di desa Mangarabombang tentang metode pembelajaran Al Quran secara tidak langsung berdampak pada rendahnya kemampuan anak-anak dalam membaca Al Quran. Permasalahan tersebut adalah tantangan dan tanggung jawab kami sebagai bentuk pengabdian masyarakat di lingkungan Mangarabombang. Pengabdian kami dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya kemampuan anak-anak dalam membaca Al-qur’an yang masih kurang tepat. Maka dari itu, tujuan pengabdiaan penulis adalah meningkatkan kemampuan dan mengatasi kesulitan membaca Al Quran serta diharapkan mampu menjadikan anak-anak menjadi lebih tepat dan sesuai dalam membaca Al-Qur’an di desa Mangarabombang, penulis menerapkan metode iqra’ dalam pembelajaran membaca Al Quran. Metode Iqra’ adalah suatu metode membaca Al Quran yang menekankan langsung pada latihan membaca menggunakan buku panduan iqra’. Metode Iqra’ merupakan proses membaca Al Quran yang memusatkan terhadap pelatihan membaca yang mengaplikasikan buku podoman Iqra. Metode iqra adalah terobosan proses pengajaran yang baik untuk mencapai pengembangan kemahiran membaca Al Quran bagi kanak-kanak di desa Mangarabombang. Faktor pendukung penerapan metode Iqro’ bagi anak-anak usia SD di desa Mangarabombang, yaitu: 1. Penerapan metode Iqra sudah dilaksanakan dari dulu. 2. Metode iqro pengaplikasiannya lebih mudah dibanding metode lainnya. 3. Tidak memerlukan kecakapan khusus dan pelatihan. 4. Masyarakat sudah mendukung pengaplikasian metode Iqra. 5. Metode Iqra sudah banyak diaplikasikan dan mudah pengucapan huruf-hurufnya.

Abstract

Reading is an important thing to cultivate. Especially in the current information era, reading is a necessity for everyone. Education in Indonesia refers to the concept of learning throughout life (life long education). This concept means that throughout life humans continue to learn and one of the efforts that can be made in learning is reading. This service aims to develop and utilize libraries that already exist but are not yet running optimally as an effort to increase children's interest in reading. The library is a library located in Begendeng village. Begendeng Village is one of the villages located in Jatikalen District. This service activity uses the PAR method. In this activity, the servant carries out 5 stages of implementation, namely to Know, to Understand, to Plan, to Action, and to Reflection. The result of this service activity was the re-functioning of the library in Begendeng Village. Apart from that, children are also more enthusiastic and go to the library more often to read.

Abstract

Self-confidence is a positive evaluation of oneself, including attitudes towards personal beliefs and abilities in facing life as well as a comprehensive view of oneself. Self-confidence shows a positive assessment of an individual's competence or skills. Therefore, holding a counseling guidance training for PIK M cadres to increase self-confidence. The objectives to be achieved in this research are: (1) increase cadres' understanding of self-confidence, (2) cadres can have self-confidence, (3) can solve problems experienced by cadres in terms of lack of self-confidence through counseling guidance. Researchers use the Service learning method with three stages: planning stage, implementation stage, reflection stage. The solution given is to give appreciation to the cadres, suggesting that they continue to practice, increase their reading and vocabulary. The results of this training show that the implementation was carried out from start to finish, cadres already understood what self-confidence is like, and there were several cadres who were able to prove their self-confidence by appearing to speak in public

Abstract

Public awareness of the polio vaccine for toddlers in the Mataram area in 2023 is still at 30.2%, or 2,645 children (the lowest in NTB). To address this issue, behavior change intervention components must be further developed. In the context of field communication, health cadres need to be equipped with more innovative communication techniques as the front line. For this purpose, continuous training such as the Training of Communicator (ToC) with an Interpersonal Communication Approach (KAP) needs to be provided to health cadres to enhance their communication skills and medical knowledge. The goal of this service is to equip cadres with techniques to build closer, trusting, and understanding relationships to facilitate educating and persuading residents, to provide cadres with techniques for explaining immunization issues in ways that are easily understood by the general public, and to equip cadres with techniques to lock in commitment and build habits so that long-term behavior change can occur. The success rate of the service activity is 90%, based on the KAP method indicators of participant engagement at every step and happiness during the training. This can be observed from the beginning of the training in the morning until the end, with health cadres always laughing and not feeling sleepy or weak. They are also committed to taking action with KAP in the community. They returned home smiling and expressed gratitude for the communication knowledge imparted
