Abstract

The environment where affects the formation of a student's attitude. The habits and culture of each of these places are different, thus allowing the different characteristics of the students who live in that place. This study aims to reveal the differences in the attitudes of students who come from the Police complex environment and in the villages of the students of SMP Negeri 2 Muaro Bungo by using a total sampling technique with a total sample of 80 students. Data collection techniques with a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out with a quantitative approach, instrument testing, T-test with the help of SPSS 15. The results of the research from the t-test obtained that tcount was 5.839 while t-table at a significance level of 0.05 was 1.684, so tcount > ttable (5,839 > 1,684) then it can be concluded It can be concluded that there are differences in social attitudes between students who live in the Police complex and students who live in villages. The results of this study on guidance and counseling activities can be used as a reference to help students acquire a good attitude and do not differentiate between students from one another so as to support optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Reveal the quality of interpersonal communication of class VII students at SMP Negeri 17 Jambi City 2). Revealing the quality of adjustment of class VII students at SMP Negeri 17 Jambi City 3). Revealing the relationship between interpersonal communication and adjustment of class VII students at SMP Negeri 17 Jambi City. The type of research conducted by researchers is classified as correlational. quantitative approach. The population in this study is interpersonal communication and adjustment of class VII students at SMP Negeri 17 Jambi City in the 2017/2018 academic year. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling. This formula is used to test and reveal the quality of interpersonal communication and adjustment in class VII students at SMP Negeri 17 Jambi City, then the data from the student questionnaire answers obtained will be analyzed using the percentage technique. Percentage analysis that has been done on each research variable, it is known that students' interpersonal communication with a weighted value obtained is 1398 and the average percentage value obtained is 75.7%. So it can be concluded that the quality of interpersonal communication of class VII students at SMP Negeri 17 Jambi City is of good quality

Abstract

The impact of Body Shame on learning concentration caused is indicated by the behavior of AZ often experiencing delays in collecting assignments, and often arriving late to school. AZ feels lazy to come to school if he has to meet his friend who often compares his physique. From these various things, AZ often experiences a decrease in learning concentration. The impact of Body Shame is seen from the level of depression. This impact is illustrated in the perspective of AZ's subject who is often inferior, embarrassed, over the condition of his physical body that is not comparable or not beautiful compared to other friends. Due to the assessment of the views of his classmates who often mock AZ's small and petite physique and has a slightly dark skin color, AZ always instills in him the comparison of himself to other friends. This view produces repeated shame and anxiety in AZ. The emotional experience that is formed is what causes Depression to affect AZ for the Body Shame act by his friends. seen based on the loss of self-confidence, the visible impact is that AZ prefers to be alone, closed and refuses to socialize with friends so that AZ feels inferior to other friends' observations about AZ's physicality, feels ashamed to join other friends and withdraws from the social environment.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a force that can be a driving force for students to utilize their inner and outer potential to realize learning goals. One way that can be used is the provision of information services. The aims of this study were: to reveal the learning motivation of class VIII junior high school students in Jambi City before being provided with information services, to reveal the learning motivation of VIII junior high school students in Jambi City after being provided with information services, and to reveal the effect of information services on the learning motivation of VIII junior high school students in Jambi City. . This type of research is an experiment with a pretest and post-test design. The data that has been obtained is then collected through pretest and post-test, then analyzed using t-test with the help of SPSS version 20. The findings of this study are: the pre-test score of the experimental class, an overall average of about 50.82% of students have learning motivation which is in the low category and while the post-test score, about 71.58% on average, all students have learning motivation in the very high category there is a difference of 20.76%, the control class pre-test score of 51.01% of students is in the low category while the post-test score, about 65.85% of students who have learning motivation are in the low category. very good difference of about 14.84%, and it is concluded based on the data it can be interpreted that learning motivation increases after being given treatment in the form of information services.

Abstract

This study aims to: develop learning media in the form of Guidance and Counseling Pocket Books for high school students of class XI with Time Management material, find out the feasibility of Pocket Books as learning media based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, and students from the aspects of content, language, presentation, and graphics. This research is a development research or Research and Development (R&D) adapted from the ADDIE development model. The data collection technique in this development research is through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study show that there are five stages of making a Pocket Book, namely: 1) Analysis, in this stage it contains an analysis of needs, objectives and materials, 2) Design, this stage includes media specifications, material structure, and layout and book design. pocket, 3) Development, this stage includes making a product which is then validated by a team of experts with the results of the quality of the book being said to be good, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. Thus the product is declared feasible, in terms of the design of the media and material for the pocket book that was developed and is worthy of being tested. From the results of the student response questionnaire, the percentage score of 77.87% (Good), from the results of the data students gave a very good response to the product developed. This electronic module that has been developed is suitable for use in learning activities other than being used as a medium for independent learning both in the classroom and outside the classroom.
