Abstract

Coffee agroforestry tourism is increasingly relevant to sustainable development as it integrates coffee production, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem services, and the well-being of local communities. This study presents a study on the mapping of the development, national contributions, and thematic structure of research on coffee agroforestry tourism in Southeast Asia. The study applies a bibliometric approach based on Scopus data. Documents were collected through key phrases that represent the combination of coffee agroforestry and tourism and then selected for their relevance to the Southeast Asian region. A total of 191 documents were analyzed using VOSviewer for pattern visualization, keyword relationship, and thematic grouping. Results reveal Indonesia as the leading contributor with 152 documents and Vietnam as the highest average citation count. The analysis identified five main clusters: coffee tourism development; agroforestry conservation; biodiversity and smallholder farmers; sustainability and ecosystem services; and coffee agroforestry as an adaptive system to climate change. This study proves that coffee agroforestry tourism can be a model for sustainable rural tourism where ecology, economy, and community governance are integrated.
