Abstract

Endothelin-1 (ET-1) is a potent vasoconstrictor and functions as a non-invasive biomarker for endothelial dysfunction from a biomolecular standpoint. Endothelial dysfunction is a precursor to hypertension and various cardiovascular diseases. According to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the financial burden associated with cardiovascular diseases has been increasing annually. This necessitates a paradigm shift within the national health resilience framework, moving from a focus on illness to one that emphasizes health promotion and prevention, with the aim of mitigating the financial impact of cardiovascular diseases. The purpose of this research is to investigate the essential role of endothelin-1 (ET-1) in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and enhancing national health resilience. The investigation seeks to emphasize the unique and clinical significance of endothelin-1 (ET-1) across various sectors, particularly concerning cardiovascular risk, as well as the potential economic advantages of alleviating the disease burden. The results reveal that endothelin-1 (ET-1) plays a significant role in contributing to the SDGs by facilitating the early detection of endothelial dysfunction, thereby helping to reduce the incidence of cardiovascular diseases. Originality and value lie in its use of a novel statistical analysis to explore the relationship between endothelin-1 (ET-1) and other pertinent parameters. This research highlights the integrative function of Endothelin-1 (ET-1) in harmonizing the objectives of the SDGs with those of National Health Resilience, providing actionable insights for decision-makers across various sectors. The findings establish a basis for policymakers and practitioners to utilize endothelin-1 (ET-1) in promoting comprehensive and sustainable development.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the values of the third principle of Pancasila, namely the Unity of Indonesia, through deep learning-based instruction utilizing the interactive Baamboozle media. The background of this study lies in the importance of internalizing the value of unity in national life, particularly within Indonesia’s diverse society. However, the teaching of Pancasila values in schools is still often conducted conventionally, making it less engaging and less effective in instilling the character of unity among students. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with stages including planning, implementation, observation, interviews, and documentation in extracurricular RAM classes. The results show that the integration of deep learning—which emphasizes mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning—with Baamboozle media can enhance students’ understanding, motivation, and active engagement in internalizing the value of unity. Baamboozle, as an interactive edugame platform, proved effective in creating a collaborative and enjoyable learning atmosphere, enabling students to more easily understand and apply the value of unity in daily life. This research recommends the utilization of innovative, technology-based learning models to strengthen character education and foster a spirit of unity among Indonesia’s younger generation.

Abstract

This study examines the strategic role of the Indonesian military in food security and regional diplomacy. Using a qualitative literature review approach, the research highlights how the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) contribute to domestic food distribution during crises and serve as an instrument of soft power in regional food diplomacy. The findings reveal that the TNI’s logistical capacity, rapid mobilization, and involvement in humanitarian operations enhance Indonesia’s position within ASEAN and multilateral forums. However, risks remain, including civilian militarization, democratic dilemmas, and sustainability challenges if military involvement is not clearly regulated. The study concludes that military-based food diplomacy, when placed within transparent and accountable non-war operations, can become a strategic instrument for Indonesia in reinforcing regional stability and contributing to global human security.

Abstract

This study explores the role of the circular economy as a green strategy to empower farmers and achieve food self-sufficiency in Indonesia. Using a systematic literature review approach, the research synthesizes findings from national and international studies published between 2015 and 2024. The results reveal that circular practices—such as recycling crop residues and livestock manure into organic fertilizers, integrating crops with livestock and aquaculture, and processing surplus produce into value-added products—significantly enhance resource efficiency, reduce food loss, and diversify farmer income. These practices not only reduce reliance on imported agricultural inputs but also restore soil fertility, mitigate environmental impacts, and strengthen farmers’ bargaining power within food systems. At the macro level, embedding circular economy principles in agricultural policy aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to zero hunger and responsible consumption, thus positioning Indonesia to move closer to food sovereignty. However, the study also identifies barriers including limited access to technology, financing, and knowledge, as well as fragmented policy support. Overcoming these challenges requires coordinated interventions in policy reforms, infrastructure investment, institutional strengthening, and digital innovation. Overall, the circular economy provides a transformative framework that enhances farmer independence while supporting sustainable food self-sufficiency.
