Abstract

Information system plays an essential role in higher education institution, particularly the use of Thesis Information System and Job- Training (SISKP) application in Department of Informatics Engineering State University of Gorontalo. One of the most significant components in building a system is having usability that is easy to learn, use, and encourage the users to complete their tasks. Nevertheless, there is no current investigation measuring the SISKP application. Therefore, this research intends to determine the level of usability in the SISKP application based on lecturer's and informatics engineering students' perceptions. The measurement method in this condition uses the System Usability Scale (SUS) because the users can give subjective assessments. The result of this research obtain 72 scores of the SUS for SISKP application which includes in Grade C and classifies as a good category, while the NPS gets a Passive label that is the users who do not recommend SISKP or those who gave negative rating toward SISKP. Hence, for further investigation, it is suggested to explore the factors affecting the lower score of usability on the SISKP application.

Abstract

This study is conducted based on the problem faced by the owner of the Nurhayati Shop. motivated by the obstacles that are often experienced by the owner nurhayati shop. The 2D Tupperware catalog used by Nurhayati Shop becomes the core problem in serving the customers due to the inefficient time and product description. This study applies Multimedia Life Cycle (MDLC) as the method. The result shows that augmented reality technology integrated into a magic book can be used as the marketing media with android-base. Technology helps the seller in promoting the product throught the android that changes the object into 3D. Besides, it helps the buyer to have an effective time to choose the product.

Abstract

Official travel is a trip carried out by employees in an institution/company related to official duties. Official travel occurs in each institution, for instance, at the Office of Investment, Energy and Mineral Resources, and Transmigration in Gorontalo Province. Yet, there are several problems encountered in the official travel system. The problem is that institution's data recap regarding official travel will be lost every year. Another problem is in the process of report filling, where the report filling can only be performed by the treasurer. As a result, the treasurer has difficulties since s/he must input various reports, and it took a long time. Equally important,as long as the report has not been filled in, the employees cannot perform official travel. Based on the problem above, the proposed solution is creating an information system that can facilitate the treasurer in managing the data of employees and searching the annual reports. Abstract

This research is conducted due to the constraints that are often found in organizing the thesis defense and practical work schedules at the departement of informatics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo. The constraints are in the form of frequent delays in scheduling because the admin has to check the room beforehand, the lecturers' absence, and the time to prevent conflicts in scheduling the research method is a prototype. The research result is an application in scheduling the thesis defense and practical work, which will help organize the thesis defense and practical work schedules in addition, the admin is also able to easilydetermine both schedules in the Departement of Informatics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo.Keywords: Scheduling Application, Thesis, practical work

Abstract

This present study is motivated by a problem experienced by supervisors in processing data where they remain applying Microsoft Excel so that it is eventually time-consuming and leading to frequent data duplication. In addition, the data storage process is still in the form of document or archive thus, it delays the search process over certain data, and it is vulnerable to be lost or corrupted. The study is classified as a descriptive study which uses prototype method for system development. The study's result is a Web-based Regional Asset Inventory Information System which is helpful in the regional asset inventory process. Additionally, the system can help prepare and register data so that it benefits Bone Bolango District administration in relation to the regional asset inventory process. Abstract

The present study was heavily motivated by the problems that often occurred in the students' affairs of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The process of student ranking in the students' affair unit of the Faculty of Engineering employs a manual method of data collection of students' achievements. All files of students' achievements are photocopied, scanned, and archived into a computer. This method is lacking in a crucial aspect; students with achievements or recognitions cannot input and archive their achievements into the university database by themselves. Therefore, the data of achievements might get scattered and hinder the evaluation process. The study employed a prototype method. The results showed that an information system of student ranking management was developed to assist the compilation process of students' achievements. By the developed information system, the students are enabled to input the achievements they have into the system by themselves.Keywords:  Management, Ranking, Student Ranking Management Information System, Prototype

Abstract

Proses menentukan seorang pemain bermain disuatu posisi dengan tugas tertentu sangatlah berpengaruh dalam permainan sebuah tim. Seorang pemain tidak akan bermain bagus ketika dia diberikan sebuah posisi dan tugas yang dia tidak kuasai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasi sistem informasi pengelompokan pemain sepakbola serta menguji sistem informasi pengelompokan pemain sepakbola. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode pengembangan sistem Prototype. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa metode data mining klasifikasi adalah salah satu teknik yang umum digunakan. Teknik klasifkasi dalam data mining adalah dikelompokan ke dalam teknik pohon keputusan. Pohon keputusan dan algoritma C4.5 merupakan dua model yang tak terpisahkan, karena unutk membangun sebuah pohon keputusan dibutuhkan algoritma C4.5

Abstract

AbstractE-learning is a form of information technology development utilized by an educational institution for academic enhancement purposes. Sekolah Dasar Laboratorium of State University of Gorontalo is an elementary school implementing e-learning based system concerning the use of applications such as YouTube, Microsoft team, and Google form. However, several challenges are found during its implementation. For instance, some teachers entering retirement age find e-learning difficult to be implemented. The students also find it boring during its implementation. This research employs the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with four basic constructs, namely Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Attitude Toward Using (ATU), and Acceptance System (ACC). Findings reveal that the hypothesis testing 1 of PEOU has a significant effect on PU, the hypotesis testing 2 of PEOU has an instignificant effect on ATU, the hypotesis testing 3 of PU and ATU have an insignificant effect on teachers, but it has a significant effect on students, the hypotesis testing 4 of PU has a significant effect on ACC, the hypotesis testing 5 of ATU has an insignificant effect on ACC, the hypotesis testing 6 of PEOU and PU have a simultaneous and insignificant effect on teachers, but they have a simultaneous and significant effect on students, the hypotesis testing 7 of PEOU and ATU have a simultaneous and significant effect on ACC.Keywords: Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), e-learning, LABORATORIUM UNG.

Abstract

The belt level increase test is a routine activity carried out by Provincial Board (Pengprov) Taekowndo in Gorontalo at every period. The registration process for the taekwondo belt increase test is still done manually by using the registration from on the paper. Additionally, the information regarding Taekwondo (traditional Korean martial arts) in Gorontalo is still less. This research applies a waterfall method, and the design system uses a unified modeling language (UML) deign consisting of a case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, and class diagram. The finding of this research is in the form of martial arts information system that can specifically facilitate the registration process for the taekwondo belt increase test and help get information easily. Besides, this system is tested with black-box and white-box testing and has met the criteria in accordance with the objectives.Keywords: Belt Level Increase Test, Taekwondo, Martial Arts Information System, Waterfall, UML.

Abstract

Abstract At this time almost all circles have used information technology and technology itself is not something that is foreign to society in general. With the development of technology today, it will be easier for users to fulfill their needs and digital product marketing catalogs. The purpose of this research is to design and implement an augmented reality application of hardware sales catalogs using an android-based magic book. The author uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle method. The purpose of this study is to design and implement an augmented reality application of hardware sales catalogs using an android-based magic book.
