Abstract

The process of data collection for the poor at the Blang Bintang Subdistrict Office has been computerized for some time; however, it still relies on Microsoft Excel, which leads to time inefficiencies and employee fatigue in conducting the data entry. This issue can result in delays in data management, subsequently affecting the timely distribution of various forms of assistance to the community. The aim of this study is to analyze and design an Information System for the Registration of the Poor in the Blang Bintang Subdistrict at the Blang Bintang District Office, Aceh Besar, using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Data collection was carried out using several methods, including field studies and library research. The conclusion drawn from the analysis of the Information System for the Registration of the Poor is that the system will be used to process data for the poor at the Blang Bintang Subdistrict Office, Aceh Besar, enabling functionalities such as adding, editing, and searching for data. Additionally, the system will be equipped to generate reports, such as lists of beneficiaries, among others. This application is intended to serve as an alternative tool for processing the data of the poor at the Blang Bintang Subdistrict Office, Aceh Besar

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of a more efficient Death Reporting Information System at the Camat Office in Manggeng, Aceh Barat Daya, addressing the challenges of the existing manual system. The main objectives were to streamline data management, reduce errors, and improve report generation. The new system was developed using Visual Basic .NET to automate processes and ensure more accurate, timely data management. The methodology employed included observation, interviews, system analysis, design, testing, and evaluation. During the observation phase, issues such as the lack of a dedicated death data management application and limited access to accurate data were identified. Interviews with staff further confirmed the need for an automated solution to enhance efficiency. The system analysis showed significant flaws in the existing system, including inefficiencies caused by manual data entry. The newly designed system features an intuitive interface, enabling staff to input, process, and generate death reports more effectively. Testing confirmed that the new system significantly reduced processing times, minimized data entry errors, and improved the overall efficiency of death reporting. It also provided real-time access to data, allowing staff to retrieve and process information more quickly. The successful implementation of this system highlights the importance of integrating technology into public administration. Moreover, it emphasizes the need for adequate staff training to ensure successful adoption and effective system usage. The study concludes that technological integration is essential for improving the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of public sector services.

Abstract

The Information System for Distribution of Superior Livestock Assistance is one of the data processing activities at BPTU-HPT Indrapuri, Aceh Besar, aimed at obtaining more directed and easily accessible information on the distribution of superior livestock assistance. In this Practical Work Report (LKP), the author discusses the issues related to the distribution of superior livestock assistance and the data management mechanisms at BPTU-HPT Indrapuri, Aceh Besar, as well as designing an Information System for Distribution of Superior Livestock Assistance using Visual BASIC.NET. The purpose of this report is to understand the issues related to the distribution of superior livestock assistance and data management at BPTU-HPT Indrapuri, Aceh Besar, as well as to create a supporting application for the Information System for Distribution of Superior Livestock Assistance using Visual BASIC.NET. The data collection for this report was conducted using two methods: literature study, which involves relevant books and other scientific works, and field study through interviews and direct observations of the relevant objects related to this Practical Work Report. The Information System for Distribution of Superior Livestock Assistance is managed by one of the administrative staff members to record and input data on the distribution of superior livestock assistance. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the Information System for Distribution of Superior Livestock Assistance at BPTU-HPT Indrapuri, Aceh Besar, follows the established procedures and utilizes computers with Visual BASIC.NET programming language and Microsoft Access 2003 as its database

Abstract

The Public Works Office (PU) of Pidie Jaya Regency is a government institution engaged in infrastructure and facility development. In the process of employee data management, the Public Works Office (PU) of Pidie Jaya Regency uses office applications such as Microsoft Office. The activities in the office, ranging from document reception to report generation, have been inefficient due to the semi-computerized nature of the report recording. The purpose of this thesis is to design an employee data management application, create a computerized data storage system, reduce data duplication and report errors, and analyze the system used at the Public Works Office (PU) of Pidie Jaya Regency. Based on research and observations conducted at the Public Works Office (PU) of Pidie Jaya Regency, it can be concluded that the implementation of this employee information system at the Public Works Office (PU) of Pidie Jaya Regency is effective and accurate, particularly in the human resources department. It makes obtaining employee information easier. This information system can address issues often encountered at the Public Works Office (PU) of Pidie Jaya Regency, such as difficulty in monitoring and overseeing employee data and reports. It helps prevent delays in generating annual and periodic employee reports, and facilitates the development of an information system program to obtain high-quality information

Abstract

The implementation of a Student Information System at Mts. S Krueng Seumideun in Pidie Regency aims to improve the efficiency and accuracy of managing student data. Previously, the school relied on manual methods using Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and report generation, which were slow and error-prone. This research focuses on designing, developing, and implementing a computerized system using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access 2007. The development process included several phases: feasibility study, system planning, system analysis, and implementation. The system features a Student Data Input Form that captures essential student information such as registration number, student ID, name, and academic details, streamlining data entry. A Main Menu was created to provide access to various administrative functions, including report generation and data retrieval. The system’s implementation involved coding, testing, and training staff to ensure smooth adoption. Performance testing showed that the new system was faster and more accurate than the previous manual methods. By automating administrative tasks, the system reduces human error, speeds up data processing, and allows for quicker, data-driven decision-making. The shift to a digital platform will enhance administrative efficiency, support better resource management, and improve the overall educational environment.
