Abstract

The article covers the expansion of harmonic waves in the deformable wedge. A spectral problem is formulated, which is solved numerically. The article reports the development of the method for solving the problem, the action of elastic wave on cylinder with a radial crack by limiting case of wedge with angle of 360° on bodies (shell) located in infinite linear-elastic medium, as well as its algorithms. Closed system of differential equations, as well as the corresponding initial and boundary conditions have been drawn. Obtained analytical results have theoretical and applied significance.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the impact of employer brand on retaining the knowledge employees in the telecommunication sector in Sri Lanka. By using the primary data, the researcher tends to find the factors which make the knowledge employees more attractive and to identify the impact of employer brand on retaining the knowledge employees with identifying the mediating effect of Job satisfaction. Based on this findings telecommunication sector’s brand has significant impact on knowledge employee retention. Also it was found that there is a mediating effect of job satisfaction in between employer brand and employee retention. Multiple regression revealed that dimensions of employer brand such as economic value, social value, interest value and reputation value significantly affect the knowledge employee retention but the dimensions of development value, application value and personal value are not significant. Furthermore, a simple regression analysis showed that there is a significant impact employer brand on job satisfaction and knowledge employee retention.

Abstract

Crypto currency has drastically increased its growth in recent years and Bitcoin(BTC)is a very popular type of currency among all the other types of crypto currencies which is been used in most of the sectors nowadays for trading, transactions, bookings etc. In this paper, we aim to predict the change in bitcoin prices by using machine learning techniques on data from Investing.com. We interpret the output and accuracy rate using various machine learning models. To see whether to buy or sell the bitcoin we created exploratory data analysis from a year of data set and predict the next 5 days change using machine learning models like logistic Regression, Logistic Regression with PCA (Principal Component Analysis) and Neural network.

Students gradually begin to master their own mental processes, learning to control attention, memory, thinking.
