Abstract

Human resources are main resources in an organization that functions as main organization and the activities of the organization as well as one of the main spearheads for each organization's operations. And besides increasing human resources also required aspects of the company that are needed to provide knowledge well to carry out direction of the organization. Purpose of this study was to study the partial and simultaneous interaction of work discipline variables, work experience, and organizational culture on employee performance at PT Kumala Indonesia Shipyard. This quantitative study used sampling technique of 107 participants. Data collection was carried out by questionnaire interviews with all respondents using a Likert scale as a measurement scale and SPSS Version 22 as a data processing application. As a result of the T-Test, the partial variables of work coordination, work experience, and organizational culture have a positive and significant influence on the performance of the employees of PT Kumala Indonesia Shipyard. And results of the F Test states that simultaneous work variables and positive and significant work experience on employee performance, work experience and simultaneous organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This research focuses on how to describe position of women who are victims of rape in an online newspaper okezone.com. This research was chosen because of the many news agendas in the form of texts and pictures that tend to blame women in a rape. Through this research, there are four news items that contain elements of blaming rape victims in their news writing. Okezone.com was chosen as a news source because it is the first-ranked owner to be visited and accessed in 2019 according to the Alexa.com website. Which has a very high level of consumption compared to other online news portals.In researching the news, researchers used a critical discourse analysis of the Sara Mills model that concentrated on the position of women in reporting. In the results of the study, it was found from the four news items that were chosen that contained women as the party who contributed to the rape. This can be seen from the selection of syllables chosen by news writers.

Abstract

Facebook is one of the most popular social media, even in early 2019, Indonesia ranks 4th in the number of Facebook users in the world for total of 120 million or 44.94 percent of the total population. Facebook was created by Mark Zuckerberg and can attract the attention of many users of various ages. Facebook has a variety features: sharing status, photos, stories, and even marketplace. The trend to always appear on social media like Facebook makes people continuously upload their status, and photos. Not only to show their activity, but they expect to get a lot of likes for everything they upload. The purpose of the research is to know how the phenomenon of the use of Facebook as a place to get the self-existence of teenagers in Batam city. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods . Data collection techniques are conducted by observation, in-depth interviews, and study of libraries from various sources of research materials. The samples used in this study were obtained by the Snowball Sampling technique. The results of this study showed that there was a hyperreality in most teenagers in the city of Batam who wanted to exist on their social media Facebook.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a partial influence and influence of DER, ROA and ROE variables on stock prices in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study amounted to 48 companies and then the sampling technique with certain considerations in order to obtain a sample of 32 companies. Data sources using secondary sources in the form of notes or financial statements. The analytical method for testing is done by using SPSS 25 software. The t test results for the Debt To Equity Ratio variable are -1.597 and 1.978 and the significance value is 0.113. The Return On Aseet variable is 5.785 and the table is 1.978 and the significance value is 0.000, and the Return On Equity variable is 3.248 and the table is 1.978 and the significance value is 0.001. It can be concluded that Return On Aseet and Return On Equity have a positive and significant effect on stock prices, while Debt To Equity Ratio does not have a significant effect on stock prices. f test results where the results of fcount of 11.982> ftabel of 2.68 and a significance value of 0,000 so that the results can be concluded for the variable Debt To Equity Ratio, Return On Aseet and Return On Equity together have a significant effect on Stock Prices .

Abstract

this study discusses liquidity, profitability and leverage on the returns of manufacturing company shares on the indonesia stock exchange for the period 2015-2019, both partially and simultaneously. in this research population consists of 58 companies included in the sector on the indonesia stock exchange securities,research samples in 27 manufacturing companies in indonesia stock exchange 2015-2019. data collection techniques that are used are data processing with SPSS 21. data analysis methods used are with multiple linear regression method. T test results show that liquidity has a significant positive effect onstock returns, and leverage has a negative effect on stock returns, the results of the F test analysis explain that liquidity,profitability, and leverage simultane ously have a significant effect on stock returns. keyword: stock return; leverage; profitability; liquidity.

Abstract

This study was to determine the effect of work discipline, training, and communication on the performanceof employees of PT. PCI Electronics International. The population of this study was 500 employees, Thenumber of samples is calculated using Slovin formula. So, the sample in this study was 163. Dataanalysis methods used are descriptive analysis, data quality test, classic assumption test, regression, andhypothesis testing with the help of SPSS. The results of data analysis in this study shows that workdiscipline has a significant positive affect on employee performance with a t value of 5.939> t table1.65449, training has a significant positive affect on employee performance with a t value of 2.956> t table1.65449, communication significantly positive affect on employee performance with a value of t value3.979> t table 1.65449. Lastly, independent variables work discipline, training, and communicationsimultaneously affect employee performance with an F count of 42.479> F table 2.66. The results of thedeterminant coefficient analysis obtained 0.445 or 44.5%, which means the contribution of work disciplinevariables, training, and communication to employee performance by 44.5% the rest is influenced by othervariables outside of this study.

Abstract

This research was conducted at BMT Nurul Islam Batam with the title: Analysis of the Application of Financial Accounting Standards Statement 102 Murabaha Financing at Baitul Maal Watamwil Nurul Islam Batam. This study aims to determine the suitability of the application of murabaha accounting at BMT Nurul Islam Batam with the Financial Accounting Standards Statement 102 murabaha financing. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection method uses interviews and documentation, which compares the object of research with the concept of comparison To determine the appropriateness of murabaha accounting practices by BMT Nurul Islam Batam, the standard rules contained in PSAK No. 102 murabaha financing. The results of the study can be seen that the accounting treatment murabaha on BMT Nurul Islam Batam relating to recognition and measurement, presentation and disclosure has been prepared in accordance with PSAK No. 102 murabaha financing.

Abstract

Critical Discourse Analysis is always interesting to study more deeply. The power of the media and public perception that makes critical discourse research continue to grow. The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the analysis of the critical discourse of Van Djik's model in the Mata Najwa program episode "Living Off Electricity"? This study aims to describe the critical discourse analysis of the Van Djik model constructed by Najwa Sihab as the master of ceremonies in the Mata Najwa program. The data analysis technique uses documentation and observation techniques. The theory used is the critical discourse analysis of Van Djik's model. The results and discussion of this study indicate: (1). Shihab uses language in a structured way to guide shows based on topics, microstructure, Super Structures, and Micro Structure in order to provide information to the listener or viewers in understanding talk shows on all episodes: (2). social cognition found in all episodes, Shihab tries to maintain and present the program to keep it warm and the atmosphere alive and interesting to watch, as well as facilitate the needs of viewers in understanding the Mata Najwa talk show on Trans7: (3). the social context contained in all episodes of the Mata Najwa talk show, Indonesian Shihab serves to support the clarity of meaning about the material being discussed and try to dig up information through questions posed to the speakers

Abstract

UMKM is an individual business and an individual business entity that has fulfilled the micro business criteria as regulated in the Law. Batam has 81,486 MSMEs located in Batam, the number of 81,486 is for all types of MSMEs, ranging from micro, small to medium. The purpose of this study is to find out how the strategies and inhibiting factors of the Office of Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises in the development of micro and small businesses based on creative economy based in Batam City. This study uses descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques according to data obtained by researchers in the field. Data obtained in the form of words, pictures, notes, documents and interviews. The analytical method used in this research is SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) by monitoring internal and external factors. The results of the study using SWOT analysis and strategies that can be used by the Batam City Micro Business Cooperatives Office are as follows: A) Strategic Strength Opportunity (SO), namely increasing integrated business service centers in micro business development (S1, O2.03), socializing integrated services electronically (OSS) in developing micro enterprises (S1, S2, O1, O2). B) Strenght Threat Strategy (ST), namely improving the implementation of supervision (SI, T1, T2, T3), socializing electronically integrated services (OSS) in the development of microbusinesses. C) Weakness-Opportunity (WO) strategy, namely increasing the budget and human resources increase and increasing cooperation with the private sector (W1, O3), increasing social media marketing socialization in order to minimize operational costs (W1, O1, O2). D) Weakness-Threat (WT) Strategy, namely increasing understanding of patents / law (W4, T1), increasing the ease of licensing business actors (W1, T2).

Abstract

The higher the stock price, the financial condition of the company will look more stable and stronger, while when the stock price of a company decreases, the financial condition of the company will look unstable and weaker. The purpose of this study is to investigate how significant the influence of inflation, interest rates and exchange rates on stock prices on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population taken from industrial and chemical manufacturing companies in the 2015-2019 period was 74 companies. The sample collection technique uses the Purposive Sampling method. The sample used in this study was 18 companies. The results of the study using the t test showed that partially inflation positively did not have a significant effect on stock prices while interest rates negatively and exchange rates positively did have a significant effect on stock price and using the f test showed that simultaneously inflation, interest rates and exchange rates positively did have a significant effect on prices stock
