Abstract

This study looks into the legal implications of police service delays under civil law, with an emphasis on protecting Indonesian residents' rights. Delays in police services can have serious consequences for citizens' rights and safety, necessitating a thorough investigation of the legislative structure controlling such situations. This study aims to highlight the rights afforded to Indonesian residents in circumstances of delayed police response, as well as the legal remedies available to them, by a review of relevant civil laws and regulations. Abstract

In the context of a rule of law, the presence of firearms in civil society is a complex and sensitive issue. Ownership of firearms by civilians can pose a significant threat to the security and stability of the country. So far the regulations governing the presence of firearms in the hands of civil society have not been seen to provide maximum results, as the supervision and control of firearms is still very loose, causing concern among the community if it is related to the context of a legal state which guarantees that the rights of the community will be protected by the law itself. This research aims to analyze the legal framework that regulates the urgency of ownership of firearms by civil society in the context of a rule of law state. The research method used is normative research by analyzing legal documents, including constitutions, laws, regulations and court decisions regarding firearms ownership. The research results show that the urgency of owning firearms for civil society in the context of a rule of law is strongly influenced by considerations of public security, human rights and social justice. Although some states may allow firearm ownership as part of a constitutional right, this research highlights the need for strict regulation and effective law enforcement to ensure that firearm ownership does not threaten the safety and well-being of society as a whole.

Abstract

Social interaction is the key to all social life because without social interaction, there can beno shared life. Social interaction is very important in people's lives because socialinteraction will occur when individuals with individuals and groups with human groups whotalk to each other, cooperate, and so on to achieve a common goal, hold competitions,disputes even social control, and so on. Therefore, it can be said that social interaction isthe basis of the social process, which refers to dynamic relationships. The requirements ofsocial interaction are, the absence of social contact and the absence of communication.Meanwhile, society in a broad sense is a group of people who are closely intertwinedbecause of certain systems, certain traditions, conventions and laws alike, and lead tocollective life. According to Soerjono Soekanto, the characteristics of society are living ingroups, giving birth to culture, changing, interaction, the absence of leaders, and havingsocial stratification. The community was also divided into several factions that were the firstto be family, then developed into a community of people, then increased into a politicalsociety, and led to the establishment of formal institutions of the State. In addition, the ruralcommunity is a society that generally still holds cultural values and also still holds thehereditary customs of the ancestors. A common characteristic of rural communities is thatvillagers always have special characteristics in community life including in the running ofsocial interaction. As for the characteristics, namely, working together in doing something,facilities that are still very limited and simple, have a kinship that is still very close, and soon. However, in certain situations and conditions, some characteristics of ruralcommunities undergo several changes including how to interact due to the development oftechnology and information that developed in the era of globalization and the era ofmodernization. Sociology wich means the science that studies society or the dynamics ofsociety or the legal social institutions governing society.

Abstract

A film is a form of visual art that utilizes moving images and sound to convey a story or message. The film "Belok Kanan Barcelona" (2018) focuses on the theme of friendship within the context of a journey undertaken by a group of students in Barcelona. This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of signifiers and signifieds and to reveal the meaning of the message of friendship through a descriptive qualitative approach, using Ferdinand De Saussure's theory. The data collection methods employed include observation, documentation, and literature study, with the object of research being the film "Belok Kanan Barcelona." The results of the study indicate that there are four main components of friendship in the film, namely trust and support, openness and presence, loyalty and sacrifice, and acceptance and understanding.

Abstract

In order to realize justice, usefulness and legal certainty, which is the hope of the community, the National Police has opened up opportunities to resolve criminal cases through a restorative justice mechanism, Republic of Indonesia State Police Regulation Number 8 of 2021 concerning the handling of restorative criminal acts, the State Police of the Republic of Indonesia, (polri) as part of the Integrated Criminal Justice System has a very important role in enforcing criminal law, implementing Restorative Justice to realize legal objectives in Indonesia. The National Police is authorized by Law Number. 2 of 2002 concerning the Indonesian National Police to formulate a new concept in criminal law enforcement that accommodates the norms and values ​​that apply in society as a solution while providing legal certainty, especially for the benefit and sense of justice of the community.

Abstract

The construction of Pollux Habibie Meisterstadt in Batam has caused significant flooding issues affecting the local community. This development disrupts natural water flow patterns, drainage systems, and the land's capacity to absorb rainwater, exacerbated by the addition of impermeable surfaces such as concrete and asphalt. Criticism of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for its lack of comprehensiveness highlights the need for thorough evaluation. The role of Public Relations (PR) is crucial in managing this crisis by handling communication and public perception, and preparing effective crisis communication plans. PR strategies implemented include publications, events, and community relations, involving fact-finding, planning, communication, and continuous evaluation. This qualitative descriptive study indicates that comprehensive and transparent PR strategies, along with collaboration with government and technical experts, are essential in restoring public trust and building a positive corporate image. Abstract

Based on Article 1 point 1 of Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning limited liability companies, which was later amended by Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning job creation, it provides a different interpretation of limited liability companies. In the process, this law begins the procedure for establishing and changing a limited liability company for micro-small businesses without the parties having any form of agreement or agreement to form a business and without requiring authentic legality in the form of a notarial deed, as regulated in Government Regulation Number 8 of 2021 regarding the Company's Authorized Capital. This of course gives rise to legal consequences and consequences that are different from ordinary limited liability companies in general which are founded by more than one person. Regarding this problem, the author conducted research using a normative research type with a statutory and regulatory approach and a contextual approach. The legal materials used in this research are primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The results of the research show that the arrangement of individual companies is simpler than the arrangement of ordinary limited companies with different capital between each type of company. However, it can be seen that there is a lack of legal certainty due to the fact that individual companies can be used for the benefit of the company owner

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of product quality, price fairness and customer value on consumer purchasing decisions for Skintific Skincare in Batam City. This research uses an associative method with a quantitative research type. The research sample consisted of 100 respondents who were people who had purchased and used Skintific Skincare in the Sungai Pelunggut Village area, Sagulung District, Batam City. The data collection method used is primary data. Data processing uses the SPSS Version 26 program. Based on the data and analysis that has been carried out, this research shows that product quality positively and significantly influences consumer purchasing decisions for Skintific Skincare in Batam City. Apart from that, price fairness positively and significantly influences consumer purchasing decisions for Skintific Skincare in Batam City. The customer value variable positively and significantly influences consumer purchasing decisions for Skintific Skincare in Batam City. And simultaneously, product quality, price fairness and customer value positively and significantly influence consumer purchasing decisions for Skintific Skincare in Batam City.

Abstract

In the current digital era, marketing strategies via social media are very important to reach consumers. The Instagram account @pstore_batam uses repost content, namely resharing content from other users, as part of their marketing strategy. This research aims to analyze marketing communication strategies on the Instagram account @pstore_batam using Kotler & Keller's IMC theory. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data collection methods used are observation, documentation and literature study. This research shows that the communication strategy used by Instagram @pstore_batam is interactive marketing, through the repost content produced, the audience has an interest in just seeing @pstore_batam posts. The results of research in the comments column of repost content posts show that there is consumer interaction related to their products, this proves that the repost content strategy is effective in attracting consumer buying interest.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of personal selling, digital marketing, and perceived value on consumer satisfaction with Wardah skincare products in Batam City. This research is descriptive in nature and uses a quantitative approach to collect and analyze data. The population of this study was Wardah skincare users in Batam City in 2024. To determine the sample size, the Lameshow formula was used to obtain a total of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. In this research, various tests were carried out, including data quality tests, classical assumption tests, influence tests, and hypothesis tests. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that personal selling contributes 9.6% to consumer satisfaction. Digital marketing has an influence with a contribution of 27.6% to consumer satisfaction. Perceived value contributes 20.9% to consumer satisfaction. Analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2) shows that the overall variance in consumer satisfaction can be explained by personal selling, digital marketing and perceived value with a total contribution of 80.3%. The results of the t test and F test show that personal selling, digital marketing, and perceived value have a positive and significant influence both partially and collectively on consumer satisfaction.
