Abstract

Anemia is one of the major health problems in the world that is often overlooked in both developing and developed countries. Toddlers, pregnant women and adolescents are a high risk group of anemia. Although anemia has been known as a community nutrition problem for many years, progress in reducing its prevalence is still considered low. Even in some countries found an increase in the prevalence of anemia in adult women. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of nutritional status with the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls in Islamic boarding schools in Kediri City. The design of this study was an observational study with a cross sectional approach. By using sistematic random sampling technique, a sample of 294 respondents was obtained. The independent variables studied was nutritional. The dependent variable studied was anemia status in adolescent girls. The instrument used was a questionnaire, the data were analyzed using simple poisson regression test with a robust variance estimator at a significant level of 5%. The prevalence ratio and 95% confidence interval were presented. From the results of the study, it was found that prevalence of anemia among adolescent girls was 29,93%. There was a relationship between nutritional status and anemia among adolescent girls (PR = 3.280, 95% CI = 2.330-4.616). Islamic boarding schools are expected to facilitate and strive to improve adolescent reproductive health, especially in preventing anemia by holding a forum such as PIK KRR (Information Center for Adolescent Reproductive Health Counseling) or other containers that can answer student questions related to reproductive health

The instrument used is the observation sheet, the results were analyzed using chi square test at the significant level of 5%. The results showed most respondents carry out constructive play, with 21 respondents (58.33%) and the majority of respondents have a level of creativity in the creative category, ie 19 respondents (52.78%). Results of analysis of the data shows the p-value (0.008) <α (0.05), meaning there is a constructive game block of flats with the development of creativity in pre-school age children in kindergarten Dharma Wanita Tosaren II of Kediri with the level of closeness of the relationship in the medium category. Abstract

Dialysis is a therapy that aims to remove waste and excess fluid from the body. This method replaces the main function of the kidney. Two types of dialysis are known, namely Peritoneal Dialysis and Hemodialysis. Patients with chronic kidney failure are faced with these two treatment options. Both types of dialysis therapy have a risk of complications during the treatment period that can affect the quality of life of patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in dialysis methods of patients with chronic kidney failure with CAPD (continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis) and hemodialysis in terms of kidney function (urea and creatinine). The research design used a cross-sectional comparative analytical research design. The independent variables were the action of hemodialysis and CAPD. The dependent variables were urea and creatinine. The study sample was patients with chronic kidney failure who underwent hemodialysis and CAPD at Saiful Anwar Hospital in Malang with 126 respondents using consecutive sampling technique. Data analyzed by Independent T-test (a = 0.05). The research instruments were laboratory urea and creatinine observation sheets.Respondents who received hemodialysis were 23 patients. The average value of respondents who underwent HD was equal to (12.93 ± 4.53) mg / dL and the average value of urea could be obtained at (144.89 ± 44.73) mg / dL. Respondents who received CAPD actions amounted to 20 patients. The average value of respondents who underwent CAPD was equal to (10.32 ± 4.1) mg / dL and the average value of urea could be obtained at (104.18 ± 48.2) mg / dL. There were no differences in kidney function in patients who received HD and CAPD (creatinine p value = 0.130; urea p value = 0.083).

Abstract

Personal hygiene is a way of caring for humans to maintain their health. Maintenance of individual hygiene is needed for individual comfort, safety and health. The garbage transport workers are people who are always in a dirty environment and vulnerable to health problems. The purpose of the study was to find out the description of personal hygiene of garbage transport officers in the Dampit Sub-District TPS Malang. The qualitative research design with the phenomenology approach and the informants were 5 waste informants in the Dampit Sub-district TPS. The sample of this study is the garbage transport officer who does not use personal protective equipment in full. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument is the researcher himself. Data collection methods are in-depth interviews and observations and the tools used are mobile phones and documentation. In this study, the existing data will be tested for validity with the Trianggulation technique using Triangulation of Sources, namely the Head of the UPT Garbage Service and Supervisor of the Dampit District TPS. The results showed that the garbage transport officers had carried out personal hygiene activities in their daily lives, but in reality their knowledge, attitudes and beliefs were good enough and some were still lacking and had not formed good behavior in maintaining personal hygiene. In this study the problems encountered were the knowledge of officers about correct personal hygiene. The attitude of the officers is still influenced by the lack of maximum social support from related agencies. The belief that officers are lacking in maintaining personal hygiene because they have never been exposed to an illness is influenced by a lack of knowledge and understanding of the importance of maintaining personal hygiene.
