Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the students readiness of Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program JPTK FKIP UNS in implementating industry practice and the value of indicators which obtained. This research is a quantitative descriptive. Research subjects were students of Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program JPTK FKIP UNS 2009, as many as 56 students. The research sample as many as 48 students. Sampling technique was proportionate random sampling. Sampling technique was proportionate random sampling. Techniques of data collection are by questionnaire and interview. Testing of the validity instrument was conducted based on the Pearson's Product Moment Correlation. Reliability test instrument used Cronbach's Alpha. The results showed that students readiness of Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program JPTK FKIP UNS 2009 in implementating industry practice in terms of condition tonus of the body was 78,65 (high), state of body function was 85,00 (very high), intelligence was 79,90 (high), motivation was 72,08 (high), interests was 80,83 (very high), attitudes was 73,17 (high), and talents was 73,85 (high). In general, the student of Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program JPTK FKIP UNS 2009 ready to implemented Industry Practices.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is: (1) To know the influence of total ignition booster on the sparkplug cable to fuel consumption on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007, (2) To know the influence of methanol addition in premium gasoline to fuel consumption on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007, (3) To know the interaction of total ignition booster on the sparkplug cable and methanol addition in premium gasoline to fuel consumption on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007. This research used experimental methods and the types of quantitative research. The population of motorcycle Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007. The study sample is a Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007 motorcycle with police number AD 2113 ER, engine number 5TL840397 and chassis number MH35TL0067K83947. Sampling technique used Purposive Sampling technique. Experimental design was factorial design AxB, the A total Ignition Booster are without Ignition Booster, use 1 Ignition Booster, and use 2 Ignition Booster, while the B variations of methanol additions are 0%, 20%, and 40% and so there are 9 treatment, each treatment is to replicate as much as three times that obtained 27 data. Data of fuel consumption had been obtained from measurement fuel consumption during 10 minute. Data of analysis used two-way analysis of variance (Anova), which are the prerequisite tests previous performed tests of normality (Liliefors test) and tests of homogeneity (Bartlett test). Then performed multiple comparison tests (Scheffe test) is done. Based the research can conclude that: (1) There are a influence of total ignition booster on the sparkplug cable to fuel consumption on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007. This is shown by the results of data analysis that Fobs = 190.12 greater than Ftabel = 6.01 level of significance at 1%. (2) There are influences of methanol addition in premium gasoline to fuel consumption on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007. This is shown by the results of data analysis that Fobs = 691.12 greater than Ftabel = 6.01 level of significance at 1%. (3) There are influence interactions between total ignition booster on the sparkplug cable and methanol addition in premium gasoline to fuel consumption on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007. This is shown in the results of data analysis which that the Fobs = 10.50 greater than Ftabel = 4.58 level of significance at 1%. Minimum fuel consumption is 2.43 ml/minute, obtained from 2 ignition booster with methanol addition in premium at 20%.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to acquire knowledge about effectiveness of application of Quality Management System of ISO 9001:2008 on the process of students? learning in SMK Pancasila of 2011/2012 Academic Year.The research is an evaluative research by using evaluative model of CIPP approach. Strategy of the research is descriptive by using qualitative and quantitative data.Conclusion of the research is: context represents strengths and weaknesses of ISO 9001:2008 QMS application in SMK Pancasila of Surakarta. Result of input analysis indicated that background of educators, students, learning sources, and environment of SMK Pancasila of Surakarta is suitable with indicators of learning process success. Result of process analysis showed the suitability between indicators of learning process suitability and indicators of learning success. Result of product analysis indicated that percentage of graduation decreased 0.45%, namely from 100% to 99.55%. Average NA of 2011/2012 academic year in Indonesia language, English, and mathematics subjects decreased, whereas it was increased in competence subject. Greater enrollment of the 2011/2012 than that of previous academic year and possible different difficulty level of National Final Exam might affect the decreased percentage of graduation and the decreased average NA.

Abstract

There are many factors influencing the quality of products that are produced from wood machinery. Those influencing factors are the feedrate and moisture content.The results of this research was: (1) Reduction of feedrate of 3 axis CNC milling process with teak wood material, would be resulted the smllest surface roughness. (2) Reduction of moisture content of 3 axis CNC milling process with teak wood material, would be resulted the smallest surface roughness. (3) The surface roughness of 3 axis CNC milling processes with feedrate variation 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6 mm / rev and the moisture content 0%, 17% and 67% would be produce a level surface roughness between N7 to N11. The smallest surface roughness occurs in interaction feedrate 0.2 mm / rev with a moisture content 0% at 5.54 ?m, whereas the rate of degradation surface roughness occurs interaction feedrate 0.6 mm / rev with moisture content 67% at 16.10 ?m . The surface appearanceof 3 axis CNC millingproceses a fuzzy grain, loosened grains, chipped grains and chip mark.
