Abstract

The purposes of this research are: (1) To  explore the use effect of Electronic Voltage Stabilizer against consumption fuel Yamaha Mio Soul 2010. (2) To  explore the effect of the variation of spark plugs against consumption fuel on Yamaha Mio Soul 2010. (3) To  explore the interaction effect of Electronic Voltage Stabilizer and variation spark plugs against consumption fuel on Yamaha Mio Soul 2010. This research was conducted in the Workshop of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative uses experimental methods. The Object  in this research used a motorcycle Yamaha Mio Soul 2010 with engine number 2S6439296. Techniques of data analysis in this research using descriptive data analysis that is directly observed experimental results are then analyzed and summing up the results of the research. As an input parameter in analyzing the data include: the use of Electronic Voltage Stabilizer, a variation of the standard spark plugs, platinum, iridium and fuel consumption. The research can be conclude that: (1) The use of Electronic Voltage Stabilizer on Yamaha Mio Soul 2010 to fuel consumption with standard plug of 9.2 ml/minute, platinum spark plug 9.2 ml/minute, iridium spark plug 8.73 ml/minute. (2) Without the use of Electronic Voltage Stabilizer on Yamaha Mio Soul 2010 against the consumption of fuel by standard spark plug of 9.66 ml/minute, platinum spark plug 9.33 ml/minute, iridium spark plug 8.93 ml/minute. (3) The best interaction between the use of Electronic Voltage Stabilizer and variation of spark plugs that is on the use of Electronic Voltage Stabilizer to the spark plug with the use of iridium which is 8.73 ml/minute, but the use this variation must attention the total cost.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) To understand the effect of using various CDI to power of engine on suzuki satria F150 year 2008 motorcycle. (2) To understand the effect of various rpm to power of engine on suzuki satria F150 year 2008 motorcycle. (3) To understand the common effect (interaction) between using various CDI and various prm towards power of engine on suzuki satria F150 year 2008 motorcycle. This research was do at 26 juny 2012 and be located in workshop MOTOTECH Jl. Ringroad Selatan, Kemasan, Singosaren, Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta telp. (0274) 6536303. This type of research is experiment reseach with factorial design 3x7 and quantitative approach. The population on this sample was suzuki satria F150 year 2008 motorcycle. Sampling of this research is Suzuki Satria F150 year 2008 motorcycle with serial police number G 6161 TT and serial engine number is G420IDI67935. The sampling obtainable using purposive sampling technique. The data obtained from the power measurement of engine motrcycle using with dynotest. The data obtain with 3 times of replications, so that 63 data were obtained. Technique of data analysis in this research was two-ways analysis of variance,before implement data analysis pre especially doing prerequisite test namely normality test and homogenity test. Normality test used lilifors test and homogenity test used Bartlett test. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that: (1) There are an effect of various CDI and power of engine on suzuki satria F150 year 2008 motorcycle. This is shown by the results of data analysis, that Fobs = 50,691 greater than Ftabel = 5,149 level of significance (?)  at 1%. (2) There are an effect of rpm to power of engine on suzuki satria F150 year 2008 motorcycle. This is shown by the results of data analysis, that Fobs = 329,0331 greater than Ftabel = 3,266 level of significance (?)  at 1%. (3) There aren?t an effect of various CDI and various rpm to power of engine on suzuki satria F150 year 2008 motorcycle. This is shown by the results of data analysis, that Fobs= 0,383 smaller than Ftabel = 2,640 level of significance (?)  at 1%. (4) Maximum power of engine is 16,2 Hp obtained from using CDI dual band curva 2 with 9242 RPM.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the use of CDI digital hyper band and find out the influence of the addition of camphor in premium against the levels of pollutant gases (CO and HC) on motorcycles Yamaha Jupiter MX in 2012. This research was conducted in the laboratory of Motorcycle JPTK PTM Course FKIP University Campus March Eleven V Barnsley. This research uses experimental methods to find out the exhaust emissions from each treatment experiment. The object in this study using motorcycles Yamaha Jupiter MX in 2012. Technique of data analysis in this study uses descriptive data analysis observing directly the results of experiments and then analyzed and concluded the results of the research. Results of the study are as follows: 1) Replacement CDI digital hyper band will always be put outside content of exhaust emissions of CO are smaller than using CDI standards. HC exhaust emissions standard on the use of CDI and CDI digital hyper band has a little difference on premium pure and mixed at 20 grams of camphor, but on a mix of 10 grams of camphor and 30 grams per liter of premium has a hefty difference to the use of CDI standards. Replacement CDI digital hyper band and CDI standard does not have a major impact on the exhaust emissions of CO and HC. 2) CO Content from the average pure premium, the addition of 10 g, 20 g and 30 g of camphor on each liter of premium decreased emissions, using either standard or CDI CDI digital hyper band. HC exhaust emissions shows the changes up and down in the mixture of camphor every grams that are different between using CDI standards as well as CDI digital hyper band.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the extent of the technical problems faced by CV. Sigma Jaya Surakarta in order to improve product quality retread tires. The technical problems in terms of the types of defects and their causes tires. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the production of tires every month is 600 tire retreading, with 479 and 121 tires are not defective tire defects. Types of defects in the tire retreading Trucks and Buses frequent such as Crack Buster (CB), ie 4.50% of the total production, 27 tires, and sidewall Crack (CS) 3.83% by the number 23 tires, Dirty Mould (DM ) 3.66% by the number 22 tires, Blown Tread (BT) 3% with the number 18 tires, Under Cure Tread (UCT) 2.66% by the number 16 tires, Internal Failure (IF) ranks last with a percentage of the tire defect little going on as much as 2.50% by the number of 15 tires. By this research known by its cause there is water on printed, patronising pressure (shaping) while is printed downwards, hole wears hair short jammed tire, subtracted ripe time, position vent hole /hole wears hair short reducing tire a lot of, insufficiently notices hygiene, cleansing of casting with the wind adverse, inauspicious settlement, and gross floor.
