Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their personal potential, personality, intelligence, noble morals, and skills needed by themselves and society (National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003). Education can be achieved through the learning process both in the school environment and outside the school environment. Education is the main foundation that shapes a person's future, and teachers are responsible for determining the potential of their students.(Lesmana, 2021)However, problems that may hinder students' academic and emotional growth are common. The role of a Guidance and Counseling Teacher (BK) is very important when learning problems arise. Counseling teachers, who are often considered unsung heroes in the education system, have a special and important role in supporting student development. They are not just advisors; they are friends, counselors, and liaisons between students, parents, and school employees. This article will discuss the important role played by guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming student learning problems. Counseling teachers play an important role from spotting problems to providing necessary support and resources. in ensuring that all students have equal opportunities to achieve their best potential.(WIRIANI, 2023). This article aims to show the important role of guidance and counseling teachers, provide information about how they help students in dealing with learning difficulties, and show the positive effect they have on educational progress. Abstract

This study explores the impact of the role of parents on child development in various aspects. Using a combination of surveys and interviews, we analyze parenting, family communication, and the level of parental involvement in children's lives. The findings suggest that positive interactions and supportive parenting have a significant impact on a child's well-being, while a lack of attention or an authoritarian approach can negatively influence parental influence on children and the relationship between parenting and child development. This study explores the various factors that influence parenting and their implications for child development. The research methods used are literature study and secondary data analysis. The results showed that positive parenting has a significant influence on children's development in the cognitive, social, and emotional fields. In addition, this study also found that good communication between parents and children and the quality of family relationships also have a positive impact on child development. The implications of this study can be used as a guideline for parents in supporting optimal development of children through loving and understanding parenting.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of observations and experiences of researchers, that at MAS Safinatunnajah Salura there are still many students who do not have the motivation to study at home or at school. The purpose of the researcher was to determine the efforts of BK teachers in increasing the learning motivation of MAS Safinatunnajah salura students. Low learning motivation is a problem experienced by students in their learning activities, factors that affect student learning motivation are because parents are busy working so that students become less attentive, when explaining lessons subject teachers do not provide learning techniques that provoke students and weak student learning motivation from within themselves. This study was conducted on grade X students Mas safinatun jannah salura.who experienced low learning motivation(Riyanti, 2019).

Abstract

Trauma is an experience that can impact a person's mental and emotional health, especially in adolescents who are going through vulnerable stages of development. Trauma is an unpleasant experience in the form of frightening, dangerous, and life-threatening events if the trauma experienced by a person is in the acute and severe stage. Even trauma problems experienced since adolescence can have an impact until adulthood. The cause of trauma can come from violence experienced by someone. Posttraumatic growth is an individual's ability to transform traumatic experiences into positive experiences in his or her life. This article discusses strategies and approaches that can help teens cope with trauma. We'll discuss the definition of trauma, how it impacts teens, and some methods that have been proven successful in helping teens recover from trauma. In addition, a bibliography covering relevant scientific sources will be presented.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of educators in the implementation of a counseling guidance program focused on managing students' disciplinary behavior. The focus of the study involves educators; understanding of the program, the strategies they apply in managing students' behavior, and their perception of the effectiveness of the counseling guidance program. The research method involved qualitative and quantitative data collection through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Respondents involved educators from different levels of education. Data analysis was conducted using a mixed approach, integrating qualitative and quantitative findings to provide a holistic understanding. The findings showed that most educators had a good understanding of the counseling guidance program and recognized its important role in managing students' disciplinary behavior. The most commonly used strategies included the application of rewards and punishments, but there were variations in approaches, with some educators emphasizing preventive approaches and positive coaching. Perceptions of the program's effectiveness varied, but the majority of respondents saw it as a valuable tool in improving student's discipline. The main challenges educators faced involved a lack of time to provide individualized attention to students and variations in parental support. Recommendations for improvement involve additional training for educators increased parental involvement, and continuous evaluation of the program for better adjustment. The results of this study can contribute to the development of more effective educational policies and practices in managing students' disciplinary behavior.

Abstract

Equity and access to education in Indonesia show that it is still far from expectations. In maximizing students' potential, guidance and counseling service management is needed significantly to improve the quality of learning in the hope of producing quality learning achievements by implementing planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling. This study aims to review the application of guidance and counseling service management to improve the quality of student learning. This study uses a literature study method sourced from trusted books, journals, and articles relating to the management of guidance and counseling services to improve the quality of student learning. The study results indicate that the management of guidance and counseling needs to be done to improve the quality of student learning. Therefore, it is necessary to have a preparation or programming before doing counseling. Quality management is determined by the ability of education managers such as principals, guidance and counseling coordinators, guidance and counseling teachers, student curriculum representatives, and homeroom teachers at local schools in planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring/assessing and following up on the implementation of guidance program services. And counseling in schools. The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of guidance and counseling management through planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating and following up. The type of research used is a field study that examines intensively the background of the current situation and social interactions, individuals, groups, institutions and communities through observation and interview techniques. The data that has been collected is then analyzed based on the findings in the field. The results of this study indicate that the planning of guidance and counseling services is carried out optimally, the implementation is carried out by determining the services and areas of guidance, the implementation of service management is carried out through the service format and direct supervision in written and oral form. the results of observations and interviews state that through the application of guidance and counseling management can improve the quality of student learning, this is indicated by positive attitudes and study habits.
