Abstract

In the process of modernizing the administration, it is necessary to implement an information system that can support all administrative activities in an institution, institution or company. At the CAMAT Tano Tombangan Angkola office, South Tapanuli Regency, there is still a conventional letter archive management method where archive recording is still carried out using books and stationery. This often causes many problems, such as loss of documents, damage or documents that are not recorded. During the practical work, the author tries to develop an application that can record all archives in the agency. Then it will be stored in a database and can be accessed anytime and anywhere. As a result, many benefits are provided to the agency, such as more structured and neat archive data collection.

Abstract

Human-Centered Design Method is a method of approach in the development and design of a system that focuses on the user according to aspects of the needs and habits of the user. Difficulty in accessing information on the website becomes a problem faced by the user and in terms of visual website can not be responsive when accessed via mobile. The initial stage carried out in this method is observation which aims to find and to better understand the problems faced by users to conduct testing to find out whether the solutions provided can be understood and easily used by the user. Website testing is done by giving tasks to the user to interact on the website prototype, as the final result of success in the aspect of ease and comfort of the user using the website. After testing the user directly the test results are obtained, ie the user already feels quite understanding and easy when using the website that was created. The responsive mobile feature created also makes users feel helped when using a website on a smartphone.

Abstract

So far, the condition of children's development during the school period tends to choose the wrong choice or just follow along in choosing something, especially in terms of choosing an extracurricular field at school, which is basically not due to their own desire or interest in choosing an extracurricular field. So it is necessary to build a system that can help provide appropriate and appropriate decisions to help determine in recognizing the extracurricular interests of students. One method that can be used for decision support systems is to use the TOPSIS method. In this research, a case will be raised, namely finding the best alternative based on predetermined criteria using the TOPSIS method to perform calculations on the case. This method was chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case the intended alternative is the extracurricular field based on the specified criteria. The results of the implementation process can sort alternatives from the largest value to the smallest value.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm in making an article topic determination system. The K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm is one of the oldest and most popular NN-based methods for categorizing text. In determining class label predictions on test data it is determined by the value of k which represents the number of nearest neighbors. Of the k closest neighbors selected, voting is carried out by selecting the class with the most number as the predicted class label on the test data. Classification is considered the best method in processing when the training data is closest to the object. The way the KNN works requires determining the input in the form of training data, test data and k values.

Abstract

IoT in health monitoring is the main key in providing better medical facilities to patients and facilitating doctors and hospitals as well. The system proposed here consists of various medical devices such as sensors and web-based or mobile-based applications that communicate via a network of connected devices and help monitor and record health data and medical information. The proposed result of this mini research is to build a system to provide a medical monitoring system to patients even in remote areas without a hospital in their area by connecting via the internet and retrieving information via their health status through the wearable device provided in the kit using raspberry pi microcontroller which can record patient's heart rate, blood pressure. The system will provide information to the patient's family members and doctors about the patient's current health status and this system has complete medical information in case of an emergency. Information retrieval can be used to analyze and predict chronic disorders or other diseases such as heart attack at its initial stage using data mining techniques which will also provide a profitable approach to decision making.
