Abstract

2020 is a very difficult year for humans in this world, with a virus outbreak that has swept across the country, this outbreak is called Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). Including in Indonesia with cases that continue to increase every day, until now there is no sign of this outbreak ending, with this incident the government issued a policy for large-scale social restrictions or known as PSPB in various regions that fall into the category of large case zones and According to data from the Riau Islands Covid-19 cluster, in Batam City itself, the number of Covid-19 cases continued to increase so that it exceeded the number of 2000. As a result of this protracted disaster, of course, human life has been disrupted, many jobs have been neglected, so that various types of businesses have had to go out of business because their turnover has been much reduced and this has caused business voters to have to lay off their employees. This situation received rapid attention from the government through the social service agency to provide welfare assistance for people affected by COVID-19, but the problem here is from observations while researchers are still many of the assistance that is not right on target, causing polemics for the community. This research will utilize one of the datamining techniques with the K means algorithm to determine the mapping or segmentation of government assistance to communities affected by COVID-19 in order to accelerate people's purchasing power with the aim that research results can be used by community leaders such as RT, RW to record citizens who need this assistance. The results of the analysis show that the clustering segmentation with the data analyzed is 30 data stating that there are priority recipients which are divided into 5 clusters with predetermined criteria.

Abstract

Making learning mediafor the remodel machine holder with the formatiion of hollow materials,pipes, plates, iron axles and scaffolding wheels that will be designed in such away, The purpose of this practical work is to find out the design of the engine overhoul stand, which refers to the manufacture of learning media for the overhaul machine holder. The method that will be used is the procces of observing, summarizing qnd recording data from the head of the light vehicle engineering study program. In a design, the first thing is to design a tool in the form of an image. The design is obtainedbased on the results of instrument observations and then modified so that the results of a good image design. The image design uses Solidworks 2017 software. The results of the simulation on the product modeling are stress, displacement, safety factor (FOS), and shear force. After carrying out practical work on the design of the overhaul machine holder on the Solidworks application, it can be concluded that the design determines the manufacture of learning media for the overhaul machine holder.

Abstract

Audit delay or the completion of the audit period may affect the timeliness of the information published and can affect the level of uncertainty that decision based on published information. Characteristic of the company is one of the factors that affect audit delay. This research aimed to examine the influence of the characteristics of the company, which consists of company size, solvency, profit or loss company on audit delay in the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) by adding one variable that is thought to have an influence on audit delay, i.e. the size of Public Accounting Firms. The entire manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2007 to 2010 are population in this study. Purposive sampling technique is used to obtain the sample size by 69 manufacturing companies with the acquisition of observational data as much as 276. Multiple regression analysis is used to test hypotheses to explain the relationship between the variables in this research. The results of the partial examination showed that all independent variables are characteristics of the company consists of company size, solvency, profit or loss of the company, and the size of the Public Accounting Firms has a significan influence on audit delay

Abstract

Technology and communication are increasing rapidly and in accordance with the development of modern society which is very much looking for easy services and looking for in all fields, so that the need for information and communication is increasing greatly. Year after year, many providers enter residential areas to provide internet services by purchasing cheap packages with available bandwidth, it is possible for settlements to have no service from bandwidth vendor providers because they have not fulfilled such as the existence of a tower for network delivery. Because of that the need for a method in bandwidth management. In modern times like this, the need for the internet is increasing sharply, both for working with data processing and entertainment. In this network analysis there is a problem, after grouping data from customers where there are complaints about the bandwidth obtained does not match the selected package, so it causes user discomfort. To overcome this problem we found a solution by applying the Hierarchical Token Bucket method. From the application of the Hierarchical Token Bucket method, it can be concluded that the bandwidth obtained between users becomes more stable and even, this can be proven through Speedtest and traffic monitoring.

Abstract

drivers today vary from men to women and from children to adults. Problems that are often found in driving and traffic such as traffic accidents, congestion, and violations of traffic signs. This condition is triggered by the lack of awareness of traffic safety driving among the public, especially for underage drivers. Sahabat Cendikia Foundation is one of the non-formal educational institutions that helps the community to obtain formal education certificates. Therefore, the Sahabat Cendikia Foundation requires the active participation of institutions that care about non-formal education as a transfer knowledge agent to enrich the knowledge and insights of students so that they are equivalent to formal education. Students at the Sahabat Cendikia Foundation are part of motorized vehicle drivers, both underage and adults. Therefore, this activity will be right on target for service participants who really need external knowledge such as this traffic safety coaching program. It is hoped that this service activity can increase the understanding of students at the Sahabat Cendikia Foundation in the traffic safety program. This service activity is carried out by providing an explanation of traffic safety guidelines such as traffic regulations and completeness in driving in traffic in order to avoid the risk of traffic accidents

Abstract

SME that arise from the impact of decreasing job opportunities in the industry, one of which is the food industry such as snacks, drinks and even other forms of food products. This is indicated by the product produced still not paying attention to product quality from the organoleptic side of the product. Organoleptic aspects that are usually analyzed from a product are color, aroma, texture and appearance. The purpose of this research is to identify the potential of home industry cassava chips product development based on consumer perspective analysis. This study will show differences in the position of the quality attribute of cassava chips based on the distribution of chips in Batam (Brand X, Brand Y, and Brand Z). Based on the research that has been done, it is known that X cassava chips have superior taste, color and flavor variants, Y cassava chips are superior in terms of aroma, shape, and texture, and Z cassava chips are superior in size, price, and nutritional content.

Abstract

Helical gears are a type of gear with a slanted tooth direction (not perpendicular to the face of the gear). The inclination or helix angle of the teeth on these gears is about 15-30 degrees. Computer-aided design & computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) software is used to design and manufacture prototypes, finished products, and product production processes. CAD/CAM applications are used to design products and program manufacturing processes, in particular, CNC machining. The purpose of this research is to discuss the process of making Helix Gears in Mastercam for 4-Axis Vmc-550L Cnc Machine, the implementation method starts from observation, problem formulation, library research, data collection, engineering drawings (CAD) design, CAM creation, simulation in applications, the final result of the helix gear the process takes 4 hours 9 minutes
