Abstract

With the issuance of a study from home policy by the government during the COVID-19 pandemic, the learning process is carried out online. this makes lecturers innovate in using learning media in the learning process. The lack of use of learning media during the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in students being less motivated and having low learning enthusiasm in the computer network learning process. To overcome this problem, one alternative is to develop learning media in the pandemic era. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of the media developed to support the online learning process. The research method of developing learning media used is Research and Development (R&D) using the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) model approach. The IDI approach model includes three stages, namely define, develop, and evaluate. The effectiveness test is carried out at the evaluation stage by treating the control class and the experimental class to students who take computer networking courses using question instruments. The results of this study are the effectiveness of the developed media and can improve student learning outcomes with an average post-test value of 84.78%. By doing this research, it is hoped that students can be motivated and have a passion for learning in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Kurangnya keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran dalam kelas merupakan salah satu masalah yang sering ditemui oleh para pendidik di SMP IT Nurul Muhajirin. Pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran interaktif dengan aplikasi Edpuzzle bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran dan menerapkannya dalam pembelajaran dikelas. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan dalam 4 tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, follow up, dan evaluasi. Hasil akhir dalam pelaksanaan PKM ini adalah pendidik dapat membuat media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan aplikasi edpuzzle dan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengimplementasikan aplikasi media pembelajaran dikelas. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang telah dilakukan pada SMP IT Nurul Huhajirin menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru sangat puas dengan kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan dengan tingkat capaian responden mencapai 92,28%. Oleh sebab itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan KPM dapat yang dilaksanakan memberikan manfaat yang lebih besar bagi para guru dan dapat mendukung peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

drivers today vary from men to women and from children to adults. Problems that are often found in driving and traffic such as traffic accidents, congestion, and violations of traffic signs. This condition is triggered by the lack of awareness of traffic safety driving among the public, especially for underage drivers. Sahabat Cendikia Foundation is one of the non-formal educational institutions that helps the community to obtain formal education certificates. Therefore, the Sahabat Cendikia Foundation requires the active participation of institutions that care about non-formal education as a transfer knowledge agent to enrich the knowledge and insights of students so that they are equivalent to formal education. Students at the Sahabat Cendikia Foundation are part of motorized vehicle drivers, both underage and adults. Therefore, this activity will be right on target for service participants who really need external knowledge such as this traffic safety coaching program. It is hoped that this service activity can increase the understanding of students at the Sahabat Cendikia Foundation in the traffic safety program. This service activity is carried out by providing an explanation of traffic safety guidelines such as traffic regulations and completeness in driving in traffic in order to avoid the risk of traffic accidents
