Abstract

With the issuance of a study from home policy by the government during the COVID-19 pandemic, the learning process is carried out online. this makes lecturers innovate in using learning media in the learning process. The lack of use of learning media during the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in students being less motivated and having low learning enthusiasm in the computer network learning process. To overcome this problem, one alternative is to develop learning media in the pandemic era. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of the media developed to support the online learning process. The research method of developing learning media used is Research and Development (R&D) using the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) model approach. The IDI approach model includes three stages, namely define, develop, and evaluate. The effectiveness test is carried out at the evaluation stage by treating the control class and the experimental class to students who take computer networking courses using question instruments. The results of this study are the effectiveness of the developed media and can improve student learning outcomes with an average post-test value of 84.78%. By doing this research, it is hoped that students can be motivated and have a passion for learning in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

drivers today vary from men to women and from children to adults. Problems that are often found in driving and traffic such as traffic accidents, congestion, and violations of traffic signs. This condition is triggered by the lack of awareness of traffic safety driving among the public, especially for underage drivers. Sahabat Cendikia Foundation is one of the non-formal educational institutions that helps the community to obtain formal education certificates. Therefore, the Sahabat Cendikia Foundation requires the active participation of institutions that care about non-formal education as a transfer knowledge agent to enrich the knowledge and insights of students so that they are equivalent to formal education. Students at the Sahabat Cendikia Foundation are part of motorized vehicle drivers, both underage and adults. Therefore, this activity will be right on target for service participants who really need external knowledge such as this traffic safety coaching program. It is hoped that this service activity can increase the understanding of students at the Sahabat Cendikia Foundation in the traffic safety program. This service activity is carried out by providing an explanation of traffic safety guidelines such as traffic regulations and completeness in driving in traffic in order to avoid the risk of traffic accidents

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong pelaku usaha untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan data dan operasional bisnis. Sahabat Laundry masih menggunakan sistem manual dalam pencatatan data pelanggan dan transaksi, sehingga menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan seperti kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan laporan, dan risiko kehilangan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi laundry berbasis website menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model Waterfall. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework CodeIgniter serta basis data MySQL. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box Testing untuk memastikan fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan mampu mengelola data pelanggan dan transaksi secara terintegrasi, meminimalisir kesalahan pencatatan, serta mempercepat proses pembuatan laporan. Dengan demikian, sistem informasi laundry berbasis website dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional pada Sahabat Laundry.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mendorong transformasi digital pada berbagai sektor, termasuk usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Namun, masih banyak UMKM yang menggunakan metode penjualan konvensional sehingga kurang efektif dalam pengelolaan data dan jangkauan pemasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun platform e-commerce berbasis web pada UMKM Hazthrift Sport guna mendukung digitalisasi penjualan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model Waterfall yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box Testing untuk memastikan setiap fungsi berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan mampu mengintegrasikan proses bisnis secara efektif, meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data, serta memperluas jangkauan pemasaran. Selain itu, hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur sistem berjalan dengan baik dengan tingkat keberhasilan mencapai 100%. Dengan demikian, sistem e-commerce berbasis web ini dapat menjadi solusi dalam meningkatkan kinerja penjualan dan daya saing UMKM di era digital.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly transformed how educational institutions disseminate information to the public. Yayasan Pendidikan Ibnu Nadzir (YPIN), a character-based educational foundation in Batam City, Indonesia, still relies on brochures and verbal communication as its primary means of information dissemination. This approach leads to difficulties in accessing complete institutional information, a weak professional image, and recurring repetitive questions from prospective students' guardians. This study aims to design, implement, and evaluate a website-based profile information system for YPIN integrated with Natural Language Processing (NLP) to enable a Smart FAQ feature. The system was developed using the Agile Development method, encompassing iterative stages including requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, and review. The system design utilized UML diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), and user interface mockups. The Smart FAQ feature was implemented using a text preprocessing pipeline consisting of case folding, cleansing, normalization, tokenizing, stopword removal, and stemming, followed by TF-IDF weighting and Cosine Similarity for measuring question-answer relevance. The system was successfully deployed on the domain ypin.or.id using PHP 8.7, MySQL, and HTTPS-secured hosting. Functional testing achieved 100% success, Smart FAQ accuracy reached 76%, and content validity by information system experts yielded a Content Validity (CV) score of 1.00, indicating very valid results. A user acceptance evaluation involving 18 respondents produced an average Likert score of 4.49, categorized as Excellent. These results demonstrate that the developed system effectively addresses the identified problems and improves information services and institutional professionalism at YPIN.

Abstract

Community organizations today often face obstacles in managing member, activity, and financial data centrally and efficiently. This condition causes difficulties in tracking information, coordinating between members, and making timely decisions. Therefore, community organizations need an integrated web-based Management Information System (SIM) to facilitate data management, increase transparency, and support the decision-making process effectively. The purpose of this research is to create and build a community organization management information system that can be accessed via the internet. This system will help the North Jakarta Tribal Agency for National Unity and Politics manage and manage data on community organizations (Ormas) in a systematic and effective way. This research uses observation, interviews, and literature studies. The Waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model was employed for system development, while the Unified Modeling Language (UML) was utilized to design use case, activity, and class diagrams. The system incorporates features for data management, activity proposal submission, activity reporting, and society registration. The functionality of each feature was validated through system testing using the Blackbox method. The implementation of this information system has been demonstrated to enhance data management efficiency, reduce error occurrence, and facilitate enhanced supervision of CSO activities by the National Unity and Political Organization Tribe. Abstrak Organisasi kemasyarakatan saat ini seringkali menghadapi kendala dalam mengelola data anggota, kegiatan, dan keuangan secara terpusat dan efisien. Kondisi ini menyebabkan kesulitan dalam pelacakan informasi, koordinasi antaranggota, dan pengambilan keputusan yang tepat waktu. Sehingga organisasi kemasyarakatan memerlukan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) berbasis web yang terintegrasi untuk memudahkan pengelolaan data, meningkatkan transparansi, dan mendukung proses pengambilan keputusan secara efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat dan membangun sistem informasi manajemen organisasi masyarakat yang dapat diakses melalui internet. Sistem ini akan membantu Suku Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Kota Administrasi Jakarta Utara mengelola dan mengelola data organisasi masyarakat (Ormas) dengan cara yang sistematis dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Sistem Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model Waterfall digunakan untuk pengembangan sistem, sementara Unified Modeling Language (UML) merancang diagram use case, aktivitas, dan class. Sistem ini memungkinkan manajemen data organisasi, pengajuan usulan kegiatan, laporan kegiatan, dan fitur registrasi Ormas. Setiap fitur berjalan dengan benar ditunjukkan oleh pengujian sistem dengan metode Blackbox. Dengan penerapan sistem informasi ini, proses pengelolaan data menjadi lebih efisien, kesalahan pencatatan diminimalkan, dan pengawasan aktivitas Ormas oleh Suku Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik menjadi lebih mudah.

Abstract

Era digital menuntut guru menguasai media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru SMA Negeri 28 Batam dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Assemblr Edu, sebuah platform Augmented Reality (AR) untuk pembelajaran interaktif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi Empat tahapan: perencanaan (analisis kebutuhan dan pre-test), pelaksanaan (ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik), pendampingan (bimbingan pembuatan media), dan evaluasi (Post-Test dan analisis dampak). Kegiatan diikuti oleh 25 orang guru dengan menggunakan instrumen angket yang mengukur enam indikator kompetensi melalui Tingkat Capaian Responden (TCR). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dengan rata-rata TCR meningkat dari 73,47% (kategori Baik) menjadi 87,67% (kategori Sangat Baik), mencapai peningkatan 19,33%. Analisis efektivitas menggunakan metode N-Gain menghasilkan nilai 0,535 (kategori Sedang), menunjukkan pelatihan memberikan efektivitas yang cukup baik dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Peningkatan tertinggi terjadi pada indikator Pemahaman Aplikasi Assemblr Edu sebesar 36,97%. Dampak positif terlihat pada kualitas pembelajaran di kelas dengan meningkatnya antusiasme dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan berbasis Assemblr Edu berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi AR ke dalam pembelajaran di era digital.
