Abstract

This study , entitled " Implementation of Community Economic Empowerment Synergy (PROSPECT) Pos Institute of Justice Care (PKPU) in the Socio-Economic Life Amanah Group Medan District Sandpaper " . This study aims to determine how the Application Program Community Economic Empowerment Synergy (PROSPECT) Pos Institute of Justice Care (PKPU) in the Socio-Economic Life Amanah Group Medan District Sandpaper . The results of this study are expected to be a reference source for the theory of the author, reader , and especially for the Institute as a reference to the model of policy development and implementation in the empowerment of SHG groups. The study was conducted at the Self-Help Groups (SHGs) Amanah districts Sandpaper Patronage PKPU field . This research is a descriptive study , in which all members of the group Amanah PROSPECT program as many as 10 people , the data retrieved . Data collection techniques to the study of literature and field studies . Empowerment program in terms of the provision of venture capital , skills and talents training , and mentoring routine . The data obtained were then analyzed and compiled in the form of a single table after it is explained qualitatively. Results of research conducted showed that the application of community economic empowerment program synergies (PROSPECT) , it can be concluded that the provision of such programs is less effort to meet the needs , but assistance in accordance with the standard of service runs made ​​by PKPU and greatly contribute to the improvement of socio-economic conditions of its members . Party organizations should pay more attention PKPU deficiencies in the services provided to members and better development of the field of the other services that the goal can be achieved optimally PKPU . Abstract

Poverty is a root cause that we can not ignore in Indonesia. With a soaring population figures in Indonesia, with the need to live more and more sharply. Economic crisis in Indonesia that the government has a role to any matters arising and destabilize society, the view that poverty is the beginning of a surge in population numbers. Government hereby makes the program a program of rice to poor families or shortened by Raskin. The program aims to reduce poverty and on the basis of the fulfillment of the right to food needs of poor communities. This research study was held in the village of Kisaran Baru sub-district Kisaran Barat Regency Asahan as one of the locations of rice research program for poor families who are often referred to with Raskin. Research study using descriptive method with qualitative approach. To obtain necessary data, this research study using data collection technique and field study which consists of questionnaire, interview and observation. The conclusions obtained throught analysis of the data that The Evalution of implementation program of rice to poor families in the village of Kisaran Baru sub-district Kisaran Barat Regency Asahan is implementation of good. The calculation result is implementation of good viewied from several measurements that have been made, input as of 0,273 from process as of 0,64 from output as of 0,683 and from impact 0,37. Abstract

On August 30, 2012 in the city of Medan, North Sumatra, the government launched the Social Welfare Program. This program was established on the basis of the increasing number of street children in Indonesia. The goal is to realize the fulfillment of children's rights and protection of children from neglect, violence, exploitation, and discrimination so that growth and development, child survival and participation can be realized. This study uses descriptive type because this study describe the object or subject of research in the form of data that already exists and aims to describe the characteristics of the object or subject in detail. The research was conducted in Medan District Maimoon Aur village by the number of respondents 20 special on street children ministry activities in 2012. Results of research conducted and data analysis has been carried out that the implementation of the program of activities of street children's ministry by looking at indicators of effectiveness, namely reaction, learning, behavior, and the impact of the implementation. Where the child is not difficult to obtain the funds, have an equal opportunity for each individual, providing for changes in their lives especially children's basic needs and can show good results under 1 year. Abstract

One of the social problems faced by Indonesia at this time include disability issues . Disabled people also have the same rights and obligations in all aspects of life and livelihood , which are entitled to work in accordance with the type and degree of disability that is on them . Disabled people should be able to develop and improve the physical, mental and social so it is expected that the relevant able to work in accordance with the level of skills , education and skills possessed and in accordance with the interests and experiences , so as to achieve self-reliance in public life . One effort to empower people with disabilities conducted by the North Sumatra provincial government particularly for hearing impaired speech is the provision of skills training programs for persons with disabilities who conducted the hearing impaired speech in the Technical Implementation Unit ( UPT ) Social Services Speech and Deaf Elderly Siantar. This form of descriptive research study that examines issues of skills training programs for persons with disabilities deaf mute . This study aims to determine the effectiveness of skills training programs for persons with disabilities in UPT deaf mute Deaf Social Services Speech Siantar . The sample was deaf inmates social skills training speech which consists of 18 people who all serve the population. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics . Indicators used to measure the effectiveness of the skills training programs is a reaction, learning, behavior and organizational impact to the respondents. To determine the level of effectiveness of skills training programs , measurement data using a Likert scale . The results concluded that the effectiveness of skills training programs for persons with disabilities in UPT deaf mute Deaf Talk Social Services and Seniors Siantar been effective with a value of 0.63 Likert scale . Respondents' reactions to the program is effective as much as 0.64 . Effective learning process as much as 0.62 respondents . Changes in respondent behavior as 0.65 . Impact of skills training programs for the respondents also effective as 0.62 . Respondents who follow vocational training and skills now have more confidence . Abstract

One task of the State is to create a just and prosperous society . Developing countries one of Indonesia , in general, has a population of many , potentially still have to be developed further in order to be authorized effective development . Indonesia is a country with abundant natural resources , Indonesia's natural wealth is spread all over the country . But in fact the potential of Indonesia was not able to address the social and economic problems of this nation . The problems that occurs is , the uneven development and economic gap between communities cause poverty. The government created several programs to alleviate poverty . One of them is the Kredit Usaha Rakyat Program. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Kredit Usaha Rakyat Programs of PT.BRI on socio-economic life, benefits of this research are expected to be useful for the implementation of the model development program in particular the Government of the People's Business Credit. This research method using explanative type , specifically the research that was conducted in order to test or prove the hypothesis . The research was conducted in the Teluk Panji Village Kampung Rakyat District Regency of Labuhanbatu Selatan with a total sample of 79 people. Techniques of data collection through questionnaires to the people who receive the program 's Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR ) . The data were tabulated into tables and process the data further analyzed quantitatively by simple linear regression analysis , and t - test statistics and Test F. Based on the analysis it can be concluded that, it can be concluded that the Kredit Usaha Rakyat Program has an influence on the socio-economic life of the people in Teluk Panji Village . R - Square value of 0.079 indicates the influence 7,9 % . Abstract

People with HIV / AIDS are infected with the HIV virus in the body, most individuals with HIV / AIDS is more easily discriminated and stigmatized in society. So that people with HIV / AIDS have a problem not only on the physical but also psychological, then it need by treatment and mental health recovery. On mental recovery or soul family support is a very important thing needed by people with HIV / AIDS. So that people with HIV are fully supported by both families of everything can improve or restore the social functioning of people with HIV / AIDS themselves. The research was conducted at Caritas Shelter Home PSE Field which is an organization engaged in the issue of HIV / AIDS and Narcotics. Handling a socialized understanding of HIV / AIDS transmission and prevention by way of direct visits to the hospital that specialized care for people with HIV or come directly to the house to meet clients or their families (family based), and provide information about therapy ARV treatment (Anti-Retroviral). This research is explanatory research that aims to examine the relationship between the study variables and test hypotheses that have been formulated previously. Variables in this study consists of the independent variable (x) is a family support and the dependent variable (y) the social functioning of people with HIV / AIDS. Based on the calculation of Spearman rank correlation coefficient, it can be seen that the correlation between X and Y with N = 50 obtained a value of 0.67. Results of data analysis showed that the effect of family support has a positive relationship to social functioning steady person with HIV / AIDS (PHAs). Based on the research I have done if there are many families who do not understand well about HIV / AIDS so that there should be an institution that approaches to tackle the issue of HIV / AIDS, in order to be disseminated to families living both urban and rural areas. Abstract

Marriage is a very important event and never forgotten in the course of one's life in a form and build a happy family. Marriage at a young age is a lot happening in some circles both in cities and villages. As in Dusun IX Seroja Pasar VII Tembung Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang regency. The marriage at a young age is influenced by various factors that encourage them to establish a marriage at a young age . The study was conducted in Dusun IX Seroja Pasar VII Tembung Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang regency. This study is descriptive, where informants in this study is that couples who had been married at a young age as many as 6 people and a religious leader. Data collection techniques to the study of literature, field studies, in-depth interviews and observation. The data obtained in the field and then analyzed by researchers who described qualitatively, so that in the end it can be concluded from these findings . The results showed that the dominant factor in the young marriage in Dusun IX Seroja Pasar VII Tembung Percut Sei Tuan due to pregnancy out of wedlock ( Marrige By acident ) and not only that there are other factors that cause them to get married at a young age as factors willingness itself ( feel 've loved each other ), factor encouragement of parents / families, as well as the educational factor is so low due to the economic situation which is toomediocre. Abstract

Abuse is a word commonly translated as violence, persecution, torture or mistreatment. Child Abuse can be defined as an  event of physical injury, mental, or sexual abuse which usually done by people who have a responsibility for the welfare of the child. Which is indicated by losses and threats to the health and welfare of children. This study aims to determine how the respond of child victims of physcal, psycilogical, sexual and social violence of social service programs by PKPA. Response mean that a behavior or attitude either pre tangible detailed understanding, assessment, or impact resistance, like it or not and the use of a phenomenon certain. In this case the child response directed against Revenue Service complaints, the Legal Services program, counseling, Monitoring Health Condition and Monitoring Of Case. Based of analysis of case it can be concluded that the child victims of violence assistance PKPA give excellent response in all social services. Each victim can know and understand about the purpose of social service and to follow procedures. Victims actively involved in following stages help since the reception  service complaints to the monitoring service. Through a series of social service activities designed by teh PKPA, Victims and families can be feel positive benefit from social service by PKPA in resolve cases of violence being faced and give best value against the implementation of social service program by PKPA. Abstract

Children as the future of the nation into the next generation of the ideals of the nation has a right, namely the right to life, the right to grow and develop, the right of protection from discrimination and the right to participation . In growth, children need families. But not all children have a family and not all families are able to provide care for the child. So we need family-based care for children be it in social institutions and foundations that can provide love, shelter and education for children. One of the foundations that implement family-based care is the SOS Children 's Village Medan. Because the authors are interested in this program to conduct research with the title of the family -based analysis of social services for foster children by the SOS Children 's Village Foundation Medan. This study is descriptive and qualitative approach by analyzing family -based social services for foster children by the SOS Children 's Village Foundation Medan. Therefore , the qualitative research is not known and the sample population, but research informants who provide information that is clear, accurate and reliable, both in the form of a statement, information or data that can help meet the problems or issues . This study is divided into two informants, including the key informant foundation staff and key informants that foster children with consideration of age above 12 years as many as 23 foster children. To obtain the required information or data the researchers used the method of data collection through library research and field studies that is by observation, distributing questionnaires and interviews. This study it can be concluded that the SOS Children 's Village has a social service programs based on the family in order to give a sense of compassion that has been missing from the children they are supposed to get from his biological parents or family headliner replaced with foster parents, siblings parenting, aunt and foster care, and to receive educational services and skills, as well as health services with the facilities provided by the foundation. With a family -based services, it is expected the children would grow and flourish like the kids in general. Abstract

Basically, education is expected to be able to improve standard of living. As the foundation of progress and civilization of the nation, education is required to humanize human being. Yet, in fact, formal education in Indonesia still does not pay much attention to marginal community such as farmers. Therefore, non-formal education becomes alternative. KSPPM (Study Group and Community Initiative Development) uses the strategy of the Credit Union (CU) as one of the alternative offers is expected to be the way in coping with the various limitations. This purpose of this study aims to look at how the Samosir regional plays its role in improving community self-reliance through Harapan Maju Credit Union in Lintongnihuta village. Through this descripive qualitative analytical study, the aim of this study was to describe how to improve the self-reliance of the farmers who belong to the Harapan Maju Credit Unionunder auspices of Samosir regional KSPPM. The respondents for this study were 96 active members of Harapan Maju Credit Union in Lintongnihuta Village, Ronggurnihuta Subdistrict, Samosir District. The data used for this study were those obtained through both library and field research. The result of data analysis showed that Samosir regional KSPPM played an active role in assisting the members of Harapan Maju Credit Union in improving their self-reliance. It can be seen through the fact that the farmers belonging to Harapan Maju Credit Union in Lintongnihuta Village, Ronggurnihuta Subdistrict, Samosir District are competent and reliable. Yet, some of the community members admit that the active role of Samosir regional KSPPM is not counterbalanced by strong determination to develop paradigm. Hence, improvement of several aspects must be done so that self-reliance of farming communities can be materialized. Keywords: Roles, Community, Agricultural Capital, Paradigm of Thinking
