Abstract

Public street lighting (PJU) is important as a public facility, which must be considered so that the system remains well maintained and optimal. Sometimes the condition of the lamp is not known the state of the system, because it is located in a location that is not directly accessible. Solution to overcome these problems using the Internet of Things (IOT), to monitor the condition of PJU equipment that is integrated with the internet network.This tool uses a 12 VDC battery, as the main energy source to operate the entire system. Solar panels will be input for energy for the charging process on the battery and also the lighting process by the PJU lights. This tool uses a microcontroller Wemos D1 Mini to control the system and connecting to the web server. ACS 712 current sensor and voltage sensor as parameters for monitoring the state of the PJU system, during the process of charging and supplying to the PJU lights.To ensure the system functions, measurements and tests are carried out, which include: Measurement of voltage and current from the solar panel for the process of charging to the battery as well as measurement of voltage and current from the battery when charging and discharging; Measurement of voltage and current of LED lights as lighting; Measurement of PIR sensor response time to distance and range distance; and Testing system monitoring on Android applications, as a whole system test.This tool is able to work automatically in the charging process and also the lighting process which is triggered based on the solar panel output voltage by the BCR, and the system can adjust the intensity of the lighting with PIR sensor parameters. The monitoring system can function in real time on an android smartphone.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis variabel kualitas layanan serta pengaruhnya terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Melalui penelitian ini, penulis dapat mengetahui besar pengaruh yang terjadi terhadap kepuasan konsumen dan mengetahui penilaian konsumen terhadap kualitas layanan kapal Mentawai Fast. Menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling, dimana sampel yang akan digunakan adalah orang yang pernah menggunakan kapal Mentawai Fast dalam jangka waktu 1 tahun terakhir. Metode analisis penelitian menggunakan validitas dan reliabilitas, normalitas, multikolinearitas, heteroskedastisitas, dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor kualitas layanan berdasarkan tangible, reliability dan empathy memiliki pengaruh terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Sedangkan faktor kualitas layanan berdasarkan variabel responsiveness dan assurance tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan konsumen.

Abstract

CV. XYZ adalah salah satu produsen cone paper yang menggunakan sistem penataan random based-storage, dan penelusuran bahan baku juga hanya berda sarkan pada ingatan para petugas gudang. Permasalahan lain yang dihadapi adalah pencarian material menjadi lama, total jarak perpindahan menjadi tidak optimal, dan selalu merasa kekurangan ruang di gudang. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut peneliti akan melakukan perbaikan tata letak gudang, perancangan sistem rak yang yang spesifik untuk industri cone paper, dan peningkatan sistem informasi persediaan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi RFID. Ketiga aspek tersebut: tata letak, sistem rak, dan sistem informasi persediaan; perlu dilakukan secara simultan karena ketiga aspek tersebut saling terkait. Perbaikan tata letak gudang bahan baku usulan menggunakan metode class based storage, di mana bahan baku dikelompokkan berdasarkan kesamaan jenis. Perbaikan tersebut dapat menghemat jarak perpindahan sejauh 38,5%, mempercepat proses pencarian, dan mempermudah proses loading/unloading. Pada desain rak gulungan usulan akan mampu menjalankan aturan FIFO, mempercepat pencarian bahan baku gulungan, dan mengurangi risiko kerusakan akibat tertumpuk dan disimpan terlalu lama. Pada sistem informasi usulan yang didukung dengan sistem identifikasi akan mampu mempercepat serta mengurangi kesalahan perhitungan dan pencatatan bahan baku akibat human error, dan juga mempercepat proses pembuatan laporan dan pencarian bahan baku.

Abstract

Sword koro (Canavalia ensiformis) is one of the local beans commonly used by the community as raw material for making tempeh. Sword M. pruriens have the advantage of being easily cultivated because they are acid-resistant and dry-resistant (Gozal, 2015). In its processing, the M. pruriens contain cyanogen glucoside (HCN) so that when consumed directly it will have a negative effect on the body. The content can be removed by heating, soaking and fermenting. Besides the processing of beans, the other most important part is the stripping process. The epidermis of the koro sword is thick enough so that if it is done traditionally it will result in fatigue for workers and requires a long time. In previous studies that have been carried out there are deficiencies in previous tools that need to be repaired, and therefore will be redesigned on these tools. Some of these parts include the dimensions of the tool, stripping space, and the position of the lever that is not right. As the main media for peeling the koro sword. By considering using anthropometric data and the TRIZ method as a medium for designing the koro sword paring tool, a solution has been obtained. The dimensions and position of the parts used are in accordance with the average height of the human body in Indonesia and the stripping space is changed from vertical to horizontal with a rotary disc.

Abstract

One of the methods for treating industrial waste is using the electro-flotation (EF) method. In this study, the EF method used requires stainless steel as the anode and aluminum as the cathode. Industrial wastewater treated using the EF method comes from PT. Surabaya Rungkut Industrial Estate (SIER). Liquid waste is put into the EF basin, then the power supply is turned on and then the voltage and contact time are adjusted. After the EF process, the treated wastewater was sampled in a certain amount to measure the value of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Suspended Solid (TSS) and the number of bacterial colonies. Based on the calculation, the result shows that with an electric voltage of 32.5 volts and a contact time of 60 minutes, the result is the largest decrease in COD and TSS values. COD decreased from 236.66 mg / L to 24.56 mg / L or 90%, TSS decreased from 187 mg / L to 34.33 mg / L or 81.64%. While the decline in bacterial colonies from 4,7.104   to 4,03.103  or 91,42% decrease at the mains voltage of 19 volts and contact time for 20 minutes.

Abstract

The Airfield Lightning System (ALS) is an important part of this airport operations. Without the help of these lights, landings and flight departures can be very dangerous. It can be said to be Airfield Lightning System (ALS) is the key in handling the safety of the operating authority aviation services. The Airfield Lightning System (ALS) really requires intensity fixed and unchanging light so that the pilot can see the lights that clearly. Given a very vital function in aviation services required a power supply that supports the operation of the Airfield Lightning System (ALS). The required power supply system must of course meet Airfield's criteria Lightning System (ALS). Because a constant current is needed, then di use the Constant Current Regulator (CCR). The supporting components are also involved designed so that Runaway Lightning operations can take place continuously maximum, and can support flight safety.

Abstract

ABSTRAK              Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan kondisi udara masuk terhadap kondisi udara keluaran air cooler. Selain itu juga untuk mendapatkan nilai efektivitas rata rata air cooler. Suhu udara masuk divariasikan, tetapi memiliki kelembapan spesifik w yang sama. Proses penurunan suhu udara, terjadi pada saat udara melewati beberapa cooling pad yang permukaannya dialiri air. Proses pendinginan udara diasumsikan berjalan secara evaporative cooling. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimen, dengan mempergunakan air cooler buatan sendiri. Untuk suhu udara masuk berturut turut: 30oC, 35oC, 40oC dan 45oC, dihasilkan suhu udara keluaran berturut turut sebesar 26,27oC, 27,66oC, 29,10oC, 30,9 oC dengan efektivitas rata rata  air cooler 89,5%.  ABSTRACT           This study aims to see the relationship between the intake air conditions and the air cooler outlet air conditions. In addition, to get the value of the effectiveness of the air cooler. The intake air temperature is varied, but has the same specific humidity W. The process of decreasing the air temperature occurs when the air passes through several cooling pads whose surface is flooded with water. The air cooling process is assumed to run by evaporative cooling. The research was conducted experimentally, using a homemade air cooler. For the inlet air temperature in a row: 30oC, 35oC, 40oC and 45oC, the resulting output air temperature is 26,27oC, 27,66oC, 29,10oC, 30,9 oC with the average effectiveness of the air cooler 89,5%.
