Abstract

This research aims to find out the impact of coastal development on the socio-economic conditions of fishing communities in Muarareja Village, West Tegal District, Tegal City. This research produces findings that coastal development activities have an impact on changes in the socio-economic conditions of fishing communities, including: Coastal development encourages an increase in the income of the Muarareja fishing community, which is generally below the poverty line. This condition has implications for socio-economic changes in fishing communities for the better, improving housing conditions, improving public health conditions, environmental cleanliness, marine product production and distribution network systems, opening up fishing business opportunities, as well as modernization of the fishing system. Obstacles for fishermen in improving their economic level are low levels of education and training, lack of production equipment, profit sharing systems, as well as marketing factors and fish prices. Marketing factors in this location can be relatively resolved with good transportation routes, many fish drying businesses, and the use of small fish as shrimp feed.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the sectoral competitive advantages of the local economy of Purbalingga Regency based on their growth and contribution, in order to obtain an overview of basic, non-basic sectors and potential sectors that have competitive advantages in order to develop local economic potential. The approach used is to use quantitative descriptive using analytical tools consisting of; 1) Klassen Typology Analysis; 2) LQ Analysis; 3) DLQ analysis; 4) Shift Share Analysis; 5) Growth Ratio Model Analysis and 6) Overlay. The data used are PDRB ADHK 2010 2016-2020 Purbalingga Regency and PDRB Central Java Province. The research results show that the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors are consistently the three leading sectors based on Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) analysis. The results of the Shift Share Analysis show that the Purbalingga economy generally has a positive trend except in the proportional analysis where the industrial mix puts pressure on the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors; mining and quarrying sector; processing industry sector; transportation and warehousing sectors and government administration, defense and mandatory social security sectors. Further MRP analysis shows that the Purbalingga Regency economic sector has 3 (three) sectors with positive RPr and RPs values. These sectors are the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors; electricity and gas procurement sector; waste, waste and recycling management sector. The results of the overlay analysis show that the Purbalingga Regency economic sector has a fast pace and contribution at both the Regency and Central Java Province levels. These sectors are the water supply, waste management, waste and recycling sectors. Based on research results which show that the economic structure is still oriented towards the primary sector with a good growth rate and contribution to the economy, it is hoped that the Purbalingga Regency government can improve its performance in the field of community (farmer) empowerment in this sector, through training, technical guidance and primarily encouraging agricultural institutions so that they can increase competitiveness on a regional and national scale

Abstract

The Kroya Market fire at the end of 2021 caused the relocation of market traders to the Kroya Bus Terminal location during the process of rebuilding the burned market. This of course had an effect on market traders' income, so the author was interested in conducting research with the title "The Influence of Business Location and Business Capital on Income Karangmangu Market Traders.” This research aims to determine the influence of business location and business capital on the income of Karangmangu market traders, which has an impact on the economy of market traders. This research uses descriptive quantitative data analysis methods with variables of business location, business capital and trader income. The sample from this research consisted of 77 traders. The results of data processing using multiple linear regression showed that partially the variables of business location and the influence of business capital had a significant effect on the income of Kroya Market traders. Likewise, simultaneously the two variables of business location and the influence of business capital have a significant effect on the income of Kroya Market traders. Based on the results of this research, it is hoped that the Cilacap Regency Government, in carrying out market relocation, will pay attention to location conditions and provide support for access to capital for market traders in order to improve their welfare.

Abstract

This study focuses on the analysis of marketing strategies in increasing competitiveness at Putra Intan Mandiri Iron Steel Shop, Cirebon Regency. In this study, the aim was to find out the marketing strategy at Putra Intan Mandiri Iron Steel Shop, Cirebon Regency in increasing competitiveness using SWOT analysis. This study also uses qualitative research methods which are used to analyze, describe and summarize various conditions and situations from various data collected using interview techniques or observing problems in the field or from existing literature. In this study, there are two sources of data, namely primary and secondary data sources. Using data analysis techniques including IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary), EFAS (External Factor Analysis Summary) analysis, SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), IE (Internal- External) analysis, and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic) analysis Planning Matrix). The results of the research show that the company has a marketing strategy in increasing competitiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang dilakukan untuk meneliti masalah kinerja pada Pegawai Negeri Sipil di SMP Negeri 2 Maos dengan judul “ Pengaruh Disiplin, Loyalitas, dan Etos Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di SMP Negeri 2 Maos Kabupaten Cilacap”. Sesuai dengan judul tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan 1) Mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di SMP Negeri 2 Maos Kabupaten Cilacap. 2)Mengetahui pengaruh loyalitas kerja terhadap kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di SMP Negeri 2 Maos Kabupaten Cilacap. 3) Mengetahui pengaruh etos kerja terhadap kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di SMP Negeri 2 Maos Kabupaten Cilacap. 4) Mengetahui pengaruh disiplin, loyalitas, dan etos kerja terhadap kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di SMP Negeri 2 Maos Kabupaten Cilacap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan seluruh Pegawai Negeri Sipil di SMP Negeri 2 Maos Kabupaten Cilacap sebagai sampel jenuh yang berjumlah 32 responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data dengan menggunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics 25 menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat pengaruh Disiplin Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di SMP Negeri 2 Maos Kabupaten Cilacap yang dibuktikan dengan nilai t hitung > t table yakni 2.285 > 2.0484 . 2) Terdapat pengaruh Loyalitas Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di SMP Negeri 2 Maos Kabupaten Cilacap yang dibuktikan dengan nilai t hitung > t table yakni 2.400 > 2.0484. 3) Terdapat pengaruh Etos Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di SMP Negeri 2 Maos Kabupaten Cilacap yang dibuktikan dengan nilai t hitung > t table yakni 2.888 > 2.0484 4) Terdapat pengaruh Disiplin, Loyalitas, dan Etos Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di SMP Negeri 2 Maos Kabupaten Cilacap yang dibuktikan dengan nilai F hitung > F table yakni 9.288 > 2.95. Selain itu, prosentase perubahan yang terjadi pada variable terikat yakni Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di SMP Negeri 2 Maos Kabupaten Cilacap yang disebabkan oleh Disiplin, Loyalitas, dan Etos Kerja sebagai variable bebas terjadi sebesar 44,5% dan sisanya disebabkan oleh variable lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Implikasi dari kesimpulan di atas yaitu dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja para PNS, pihak Manajemen SMP Negeri 2 Maos sebaiknya lebih memperhatikan kedisiplinan, loyalitas, dan etos kerja dari PNS . Sedangkan, tindakan praktis yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan meningkatkan kedisiplinan pegawai, mengajak untuk selalu memiliki sikap positif terhdap segala kondisi organisasi, dan mengajak pegawai untuk selalu memiliki semangat kerja yang tinggi.
