Journal Sport Academy: an open national scientific journal that collects dissemination of research’s results from teachers, lecturers, trainers, and students. The JSA Journal is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Physical Education Study Program, IKIP PGRI Pontianak Masters Program in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Physical Education Study Program, and the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI). The purpose of the JSA journal is to facilitate the publication of scientific research results in Indonesia and to participate in improving the quality and quantity of research from researchers, teachers, lecturers, trainers and students. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of soccer dribbling learning outcomes using the reciprocal teaching method for Grade XI IIS students at Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Sekadau, Sekadau Regency. The method employed in this research was Classroom Action Research with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were direct observation and measurement, while the instruments included observation guidelines and measurement tests. The subjects of this study were 36 students of Grade XI IIS at Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Sekadau in the 2020/2021 academic year. The data analysis technique applied was descriptive qualitative analysis based on the results of the research cycles. In the pre-cycle, the average score of inside-foot soccer dribbling was 62.64, outside-foot dribbling was 63.65, and instep dribbling was 63.57. In Cycle I, the average score of inside-foot dribbling increased to 72.45, outside-foot dribbling to 74.18, and instep dribbling to 71.98. In Cycle II, the average score of inside-foot dribbling increased further to 77.07, outside-foot dribbling to 77.15, and instep dribbling to 77.07.7.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors of students in participating in soccer extracurricular activities at State Junior High School 1 Seberuang, Kapuas Hulu Regency. This study employed a single variable, namely “student motivation”, using a quantitative descriptive method in the form of a survey, with a questionnaire as the primary data collection instrument. The data collection techniques used in this study were the indirect communication technique and the documentary study technique, since the researcher employed a questionnaire as an intermediary for the respondents. The questionnaire data on student motivation were processed using statistical formulas through descriptive analysis with percentages. Based on the data analysis, the motivational level of male students in participating in soccer extracurricular activities at State Junior High School 1 Seberuang, Kapuas Hulu Regency was found to be in the moderate category, with 47% or 14 out of 30 students.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of lower passing in the game of volleyball using rubber balls for students in class XI MIPA SMAN 01 Marau. The type of research is classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles. Data collection uses student test results. And the pre-cycle test shows that student learning outcomes are still very poor, there are 8 students in the incomplete category or 53.33%, then in the completed category there are 7 students or 40% of the total 15 students. After I used the rubber ball learning media in cycle I there were 10 students or 66.66% of the student category who completed, in the category of students who did not complete as many as 5 students or 33.33%. Meanwhile, based on the results of the final test in cycle II of 15 students in class 2 students or 13.33% then in the complete category there were 11 students or 86.66%. So it can be concluded that using rubber ball as a medium has been proven to improve students' learning outcomes for passing under volleyball. This is proven by the presence of rubber ball media. Volleyball underpassing skills are seen to have a very good ranking, namely that students' scores have increased in each cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to improve underhand passing skills in volleyball through the application of the cooperative learning model, Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), for Grade X B students of SMA Negeri 1 Kayan Hilir, Sintang Regency. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 32 students of Grade X B. The instruments used included an underhand passing skills test, observation sheets, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively by calculating the percentage of students’ learning mastery at each cycle. The results of the study showed that students’ underhand passing skills in volleyball improved from the pre-cycle stage of 20% at the initial condition to 43% at the end of cycle I, and further increased to 86% at the end of cycle II. The target achievement indicator in cycle II was set at 75%. Based on the students’ learning outcomes, the percentage of learning mastery reached 75%, which means the target in cycle II was achieved. It can be concluded that the implementation of the cooperative learning model, STAD, is effective in improving students’ underhand passing skills in volleyball.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students’ interest in participating in sports extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 1 Belitang Hulu, Sekadau Regency. The research method used in this study was quantitative descriptive with a survey research design. The population of this research consisted of all students participating in the volleyball extracurricular activity at SMA Negeri 1 Belitang Hulu, Sekadau Regency. The research sample comprised 38 students, selected using a total sampling technique. Data collection techniques included direct observation and documentation, while the data collection instrument was a questionnaire. The results of the study showed that students’ interest in participating in volleyball extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 1 Belitang Hulu, Sekadau Regency was influenced by both intrinsic and extrinsic factors. The intrinsic factors included: attention, which was in the “fair” category (42%); enjoyment, in the “fair” category (42%); and activity, in the “fair” category (47%). The extrinsic factors included: the coach, in the “fair” category (68%); facilities, in the “fair” category (45%); family, in the “fair” category (34%); and environment, in the “fair” category (37%).

Abstract

This research aims to improve learning outcomes for top serves in volleyball games through the team games tournament method for class XI AKL 1 SMKN 1 Sanggau students. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles. The research objects were students of class XI AKL 1 SMKN 1 Sanggau. Data collection techniques use student test results. From the pre-cycle test, it can be seen that student learning outcomes are still very poor, there are 21 students in the incomplete category or 65.62%, then in the completed category there are 11 students or 34.37% of the total 32 students. After I used the team games tournament method in cycle I there were 16 students or 50% of the student category who completed, in the category of students who did not complete there were 16 students or 50%. Meanwhile, based on the results of the final test in cycle II of 32 students of class So, it can be concluded that using the team games tournament method has been proven to improve students' volleyball service learning outcomes. This is proven by the team games tournament method, volleyball service skills have seen a very good improvement, that is, students' scores have increased in each cycle.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of shoot training on the accuracy of instep shooting in futsal games (experimental study of extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang, Kuburaya Regency). The research method used in this research is the experimental method. The data collection techniques used are tests and measurements. The data collection tool used is a Shooting test at a target on a futsal playing field that has been marked and numbered. The population in this study were futsal extracurricular students, a sample of 20 students. The sample selected for this research were extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang, Kuburaya Regency. Based on the results of the t-test, the calculated t_value is 12,150 > t_table 2,093 and the sig (2-Tailed) value is .000 < 0.05, so H_o is rejected and Ha is accepted. The magnitude of the increase in kick accuracy can be seen from the difference in the average value, which is 4.90. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of shoot training on instep shooting accuracy in futsal games (experimental study of extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang, Kuburaya Regency).
