Journal Sport Academy: an open national scientific journal that collects dissemination of research’s results from teachers, lecturers, trainers, and students. The JSA Journal is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Physical Education Study Program, IKIP PGRI Pontianak Masters Program in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Physical Education Study Program, and the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI). The purpose of the JSA journal is to facilitate the publication of scientific research results in Indonesia and to participate in improving the quality and quantity of research from researchers, teachers, lecturers, trainers and students. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of learning outcomes in underhand volleyball passing among Class XI A students of SMA Negeri 1 Toho. The method used was a pre-experimental method with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study consisted of 30 students. The results showed that the Times Games Tournament (TGT) and Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning models improved the learning outcomes of underhand volleyball passing for Class XI A students of SMA Negeri 1 Toho. After the students were given treatment using the Times Games Tournament (TGT) and Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning models, their average scores increased, namely 72.40 for Times Games Tournament (TGT) and 73.53 for Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD), which fall into the "Fair" category. The posttest results indicated that students experienced an improvement in learning outcomes of underhand volleyball passing.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to empirically describe improving shooting learning outcomes through the Part Method in the Football Game for Class XI IIS 1 Students of SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau Hilir, Sekadau Regency. The method used by researchers is Action (Action Research). Meanwhile, the type of research used is classroom action research. The data collection techniques used in this research are direct observation techniques, measurement techniques and data collection tools that are appropriate to this research are observation guidelines and measurement tests. The subjects in this research were students of class XI IIS 1 SMAN 1 Sekadau Hilir. 2023-2024 academic year, totaling 34 students. The data analysis used in this research is qualitative descriptive based on the results of observations of the average student score of 64.99 students who have completed, 7 students have not completed, 27 students have not completed with a completion percentage of 20.58%, cycle I the average student score is 73.85 students completed, 18 students did not complete, 16 students did not complete, with a completion percentage of 52.94%, cycle II, the average student score was 79.62, with 30 students completing, 4 students did not complete, the completion percentage was 88.23%.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing a significant relationship between arm muscle power and the ability to serve in volleyball. This research is a correlation study with one independent variable, namely: arm muscle power (X), and one dependent variable, namely: volleyball service ability (Y). The sample in this study were 25 students of SMP Negeri 01 Seluar Bengkayang Regency. The data collection technique used in this study was by testing and measuring, namely, arm muscle power tests, and volleyball service accuracy tests. The prerequisite test in this study consisted of a normality test and a linearity test, while the hypothesis test consisted of product moment correlation and multiple regression. The results of this study concluded that for students of SMP Negeri 01 Seluar Bengkayang Regency: (1) There is a significant relationship between arm muscle power and the accuracy of serving in volleyball as evidenced by the value of r product moment (0.520) > r table (0.14). arithmetic F value (2.127)> F table (4.25). then the researcher can draw general conclusions that there is a relationship between arm power and the ability to serve volleyball in extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 01 Sejuang, Bengkayang Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the nutritional status and physical fitness level of male futsal athletes at Universitas PGRI Pontianak. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method with a sample of 18 male futsal athletes selected using purposive sampling. The research instruments included anthropometric measurements using the Body Mass Index (BMI) to determine nutritional status, as well as the bleep test to measure physical fitness levels. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to obtain mean values and assessment categories. The results showed that the nutritional status of the male futsal athletes was in the normal category, with an average BMI score of 18.5. Meanwhile, the measurement of physical fitness levels showed an average score of 24.2, which falls into the fairly good category. These findings indicate that although the athletes’ nutritional condition is already within the ideal category, their physical fitness level still requires improvement to reach the good or very good level. Based on these results, it can be concluded that maintaining good nutritional status should be accompanied by a more structured and continuous training program to enhance physical fitness.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of inside leg passing in soccer through the triangle formation game for class XI BD 2 students at SMK Negeri 1 Sanggau. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation and tests and measurements, for data collection tools use observation sheets and student test results. The subjects in this research were students in class XI BD 2 of SMK Negeri 1 Sanggau, totaling 29 students. From the pre-cycle test, it can be seen that student learning outcomes are still very poor, there are 18 students in the incomplete category or 62.06%, then in the completed category there are 11 students or 37.93% of the total 29 students. After using the triangle formation method in cycle I, there were 15 students or 51.72% of the students who completed the category, and in the incomplete category there were 14 students or 48.27%. Meanwhile, based on the results of the final test in cycle II of 29 students in class So it can be concluded that using the triangle formation method has been proven to improve students' learning outcomes for inside leg passing in soccer. This is proven by the triangle formation method, the inner leg passing skills in football show very good improvement. That is, students' grades increase in each cycle.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the basic technique of dribbling the ball in football games using modified equipment. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection with the process (1) Improving the ability to dribble the ball by applying equipment modifications. (2) Planning the form of action in cycle II based on the results of reflection on cycle I. The research subjects were 22 seventh grade students of MTs Al Huda Mubung, Hulu Gurung District, Kapuas Hulu Regency. The results of the study showed that in the first cycle 15 people (68%) of students achieved the KKTP score (75), while 7 students (31.8%) were below the KKTP score. Cycle II showed that only 2 people (9.09%) did not achieve the KKTP score, while 20 students (90.9%) achieved the KKTP score. This illustrates that learning to improve the ability to dribble the ball in soccer games with equipment modifications can be declared successful and can be applied in schools, therefore it is recommended that teachers in teaching and learning activities should use various methods to improve students' abilities, one of which is implementing equipment modifications in the subject of Physical Education, Sports and Health.
