Abstract

This article was written to find out about the implementation of the economic recovery management function in the tourist village of Babalan Lor Village, Bojong District. Hence, the information can be deciphered regarding the implementation of economic recovery carried out by the residents of the tourist village in Babalan Lor Village. The problem of this study was how the strategy was applied by the tourism village community in recovering the economy through the management function. The method used in this study was a qualitative approach as the qualitative components include observation, interviews, and literature research. The results of the study showed that the residents of tourist village carry out a management function; they are the principles of planning, organizing, actuating and controlling as a strategy in recovering the economy.

Abstract

Religious tourism is a form of travel activity to a special place that is related to the religious field. This activity has its own meaning for every member of a particular religion. The purpose of this study is to explain and describe the principles of fairness and togetherness in the division of land at the religious tourism object of Sapuro. The study used a qualitative descriptive method. It is research by describing and interpreting the meaning of data that has been collected through the stages of observation and interviews. This information is in the form of a brief biography about the Sapuro Tomb, the principles of fairness in the distribution of land at the Sapuro religious tourism object, as well as the principle of togetherness in the distribution of land at the Sapuro religious tourism object. The principle of fairness in the distribution of land in Sapuro Tomb religious tourism is carried out by taking a number to get the land for sale. It has been approved by the traders and this method is considered fair. The principle of togetherness in the distribution of land in Sapuro religious tourism is seen in how local traders of the Sapuro village happily accept traders who are from outside the Sapuro village.

Abstract

The performance of the organization's management will be a replication of the organization's performance. Hence, the performance of the organization is very dependent on the performance of the management, especially for non-profit organization members who are voluntary in nature. Do they have the drive to provide maximum performance? The study aims to determine the effect of motivation on the performance of the Female Student Association Management (ISPI) at the Modern Islamic Boarding School Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor. The method in this study was a quantitative research method with data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis test, assumption test, simple linear regression test and hypothesis test using SPSS version 25 application. The results showed that motivation has a significant effect on the performance of ISPI management. It was based on the t test as evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 which stated that Ho was rejected and Hk was accepted. The coefficient of determination test showed a value of 0.272, meaning that the presentation of the influence of motivation on performance was 27.2% while the remaining 72.8% (100%-27.2%) was influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the operational planning of PT Asyesa Hasanah Tour & Travel West Sumatra Padang City and to find out what are the inhibiting factors for the operational planning of PT Asyesa Hasanah Tour & Travel West Sumatra Padang City in increasing the interest of umrah pilgrims after the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was a descriptive qualitative research by choosing. The background of this research is the decrease in the number of umrah pilgrims departing with PT Asyesa Hasanah Tour & Travel West Sumatra Padang City both before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. The result of study showed quite good results by analyzing the planning management carried out by PT Asyesa Hasanah Tour & Travel SUMBAR, Padang City before and after the Covid-19 pandemic and knowing the inhibiting factors in carrying out its planning management. There are changes in marketing strategies, products, and services offered to attract umrah pilgrims.

Abstract

The background of this research is the large number of hajj and umrah travel agencies that have been established in West Sumatra which has led to a high level of competition. Besides, there has been a decrease in the number of pilgrims due to Covid-19 and a lack of human resources (HR) at PT. Asyesa Hasanah Tour & Travel West Sumatra, causing a lack of effectiveness in providing services to pilgrims. The purpose of this study is to determine the umrah pilgrims' service strategy in building a positive image at PT. Asyesa Hasanah Tour& Travel West Sumatra. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method by collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the service strategy carried out by PT. Asyesa Hasanah Tour & Travel West Sumatra for Umrah pilgrims is to provide the best possible service starting from their homeland, Saudi Arabia to returning to their homeland, establish cooperation with other companies, establish a relationship with pilgrims, and provide guaranteed accommodation, transportation and the best prices. Meanwhile, the efforts made by PT. Asyesa Hasanah Tour & Travel West Sumatra to build a positive image are by forming a pilgrim alumni association, branding personnel within the company, and making promotions honestly.

Abstract

One of the tourism potentials that is currently developing is religious tourism. The religious tourism in Demak Regency is the Tomb of Sunan Kalijaga. Each tourism object has its own uniqueness and characteristics, but cannot be separated from the existing 3A elements (attractions, amenities, accessibility). In the religious tourism object, Sunan Kalijaga Tomb has implemented elements of 3A even though there are several deficiencies that have not been fulfilled. The development strategy at Sunan Kalijaga Tomb is carried out by the foundation itself, therefore there is a need for a tourism development strategy that must be carried out to develop religious tourism at Sunan Kalijaga Tomb. Considering the tourism development strategy through 3A elements, this article focuses on the tourism development strategy through 3A elements in the religious tourism object of Sunan Kalijaga Tomb. The study aims to determine the implementation of 3A elements (Attractions, Amenities, Accessibility) of Sunan Kalijaga Tomb as a religious tourism destination in Demak regency and tourism development strategy through elements of 3A (attractions, amenities, accessibility) at religious tourism objects of Sunan Kalijaga Tomb in Demak regency.The type of research used was descriptive qualitative. Types and sources of data used were primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews and documentation. The data was collected and analyzed using data analysis techniques which include data reduction, presentation stage, and conclusion verification. The results of the study show that: 1) The implementation of 3A elements (attractions, amenities, and accessibility) at the religious tourism object of Sunan Kalijaga Tomb was adequate, but there were still some deficiencies. As religious tourism attractions, Sunan Kalijaga Tomb had an attraction in the form of the culture Sunan Kalijaga taught, the architecture of the building and the figure of Sunan Kalijaga, who was very well known by the people around the area. The amenities provided, such as shoe storage, mosques, bathrooms, parking lots, were adequate, but there were still deficiencies that had not been met. Accessibility to the tomb of Sunan Kalijaga was quite good. The condition of the road that had been paved and easily accessible for visitors who wanted to come. 2) The strategy for developing tourism through the 3A elements at the Tomb of Sunan Kalijaga was divided into 3 aspects; they are the strategy for developing the economic sector, the strategy for developing the religious sector, and the strategy for developing the socio-cultural sector. These three aspects had been going well, but there were some deficiencies that needed to be corrected for better results in the future.
