Abstract

Use of utility electric motor in an industry become is a basic requirement, electric motor serves as a means of supporting drivers / mechanics of a tool such as pumps, chillers, conveyors etc. The electric motor takes energy consumption in the world's greatest industrial and motors is expected to use about 70% of the total electrical load in the industry. This research aims to analyze unbalanced load on electric motor and how to solve that problems. Unnecessary consumption of energy from the electric motor is usually caused inefficiencies and unbalanced load burden. For that we need ways to makeconservation / energy saving programs. Keywords: electric motor, inefficiency load, unbalanced load, energy conservation

Abstract

Library is the heart of campus life and the entry gate of science. The number of visitors to the library is an indicator of the quality of the academic atmosphere in the university. Visitors during this data collection is done manually have limitations in terms of data accuracy and data processing electronics to follow up.Data has advantages in data accuracy and process. In this research aims to design tool Counters Visitors to the library with AT89S51 Microcontroller with LCD Viewer. This tool will automatically calculate how many students get in the library. So by knowing the number of student activities at the college library will be easy to determine the next steps to improve the quality of services at the library. Keywords : Libraries, electronic data, microcontroller AT89S51

Abstract

Utility Electricity of building is one important component in supporting thefunction of the building. Electricity utility of a building must be safe, because the use of electrical energy in buildings is harmful to human and environmental uses. Thus, in the use of electrical energy and electrical utilities in a building must comply with regulations and meet specified minimum standards. Semarang as major cities in Indonesia have many buildings with a variety of functions. These buildings should provide a sense of security and comfort for the user and the environment against the use of electrical utilities. It is necessary for assessing the levelof reliability of the electrical utility-rise buildings in the city of Semarang.Using qualitative methods by scoring and quantitative method by measuring electrical quantities of a number of samples, the high rise buildings in the city of Semarang on average have a higher utility electricity of buildings with less reliable category. Keywords: level of reliability, utility electricity of buildings, Semarang city

Abstract

Street lighting is an integral part of the highway construction. The main purpose of highway lighting is to produce the speed, accuracy, and comfort of vision at night time, keep the quality of visibility, and makes it easier for passing vehicles. Highway lighting function other thanto enhance rider safety and comfort, especially in anticipation of situations traveling at night also for environmental safety or to prevent crime and to provide comfort and beauty of the surroundings. This research activity begins with the collection of data on the kind of - kind of street lighting, lighting as well as the formulation of data - other data you need, and then do the calculation and analysis of the data - the data obtained. The results that the lights SON - T 150 W at 19:43 lux illumination values and SON lamps - T 250 W value of 36.27 lux illumination, the totalpower of 19,050 W, PLN subscription fee of Rp. 25,575,000.00, electric bill per month USD. 6,069,330.00, the investment cost of Rp.196,567,800.00. By using the method of comparative analysis it can be concluded that the selection of lamps SON - T as highway lighting Semarang - Semarang Solo Ruas Phase I - Section I Bawen Tembalang - Gedawang is the best. Keywords: highway lighting lamps, SON - T, Comparison.
