Abstract

Generation Z, with its own socio-historical life in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Generation Z has different characteristics from the previous generation. The generation who are familiar with the internet in Indonesia has a very large number, namely 75 million people from 191.9 million productive age. Because the characteristics of this generation are very different, there is a gap with other generations. A church that does not recognize Generation Z and sticks with the old ministry style will be left behind by Generation Z. Generation Z can leave the church if it is deemed that the church does not suit the style and needs of this generation. The author conducted a non-hypothetical descriptive research with a qualitative approach method. The author uses a random sampling technique to determine the respondents, namely Generation Z, who is currently in junior high school, high school and college. The instrument for collecting data is using an open questionnaire. Advances in information technology have made no significant difference in the characteristics of Generation Z anywhere. Generation Z requires spiritual ministry with creative worship designs, teaching biblical doctrines, requires support for the formation of faith and a strong mentality, being trained to face the world by utilizing AI and building personal branding to overcome the problems and challenges of the times.

The phenomena of this theory of creation have become familiar things because they have been studied in educational benches. As Christians believe that the statement is complete as recorded in Genesis 1:1-2, but not a few are still in a dilemma because these theories are constantly evolving. The focus of this research is the Study of Creation: The Beginning of Heaven and Earth based on Genesis 1:1-2. This paper aims to provide answers to the phenomena that occur regarding the studies made in the study of 1:1-2 incident text studies. The research method used is qualitative. The type of concept article is the result of thought or analysis of emerging phenomena. The results of this study are that: These theories essentially deny the existence of a Creator and Creator of His Work and Omnipotence. Everything that happens by itself and through a very long process, and these theories still have weaknesses that cannot be proven. Contrary to what the Bible says. The book of Genesis tells the story of God's creation. The creation of everything that did not yet exist came into being. This Creator is a part of God's statement which states that the world and everything in it was created by God in six days. And also in the occurrence of verses 1 and 2 there is not a long time gap but one unit.

Abstract

Christianity is completely being a work of God, that should be displayed by the Christians holistically. The probles is, Christianity is being parralled with all existed world’s religions. In addition to it, within the Christian communities, the meaning of the Christian faith is oftenly disassociated with the praxis of Christianity. This article was designed to exegete Romans 12:1-2 in order to find out the real essence of Christianity. By using the descriptive explanation methodology, this article proved that the essence of Christianity was completely distincted to the meaning of the world’s religions. In addition to it, Christianity does not recognize the notion that disassociates between faith and its implementation. The historical and literaly contexts of the letter confirmed that Romans 12:1-2 functions as an inferential that connects with the previous chapters and extends to next chapters. Chapters 1-11 indicatively, indicates that Christianity was begun, being kept and will be completed by the grace of God through the faith in Jesus Christ. Chapters 12-15, imperatively exhorts the Christians to live out their faith by holistically present their lives as a living sacrifice to God through their ethics of love.

Abstract

The rhetorical method is one of the prominent literary styles in the first century AD. Paul, one of the main writers of the New Testament books, used this method in the various arguments, including in 2 Corinthians. Hermeneutic studies that focus on the possibility of rhetorical analysis and how this method is applied in interpreting 2 Corinthians 6:11-7:1 are the main focus of this paper. This study found a persuasive style and rhetorical argumentative discourse in Paul's writing from the various data collected and Paul's analyzed and interpreted arguments. The structure and technique of Paul's argumentative approach and his advice to the Corinthian church is a combination of rhetorical elements and the uniqueness of Paul's writing style. The lifestyle of the Corinthian church that emerged as a result of the church's attitude of openly accepting unbelievers and their improper lifestyle caused the church to be polarized in groups and experienced spiritual decadence.
