Abstract

Indonesia confirmed the first case of infection with the corona virus that causes covid-19 in early March 2020. Since then, various countermeasures have been made by the government to reduce the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in various sectors. Almost all sectors are affected, not only in the health sector. One of them is the economic sector which has also been seriously affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Restrictions on community activities affect business activities which then have an impact on the economy. Weakening economic performance also has an impact on employment in Indonesia. Not a few companies choose to lay off and even lay off their workers. This has an impact on the declining economy of the community which makes it difficult for them to meet their daily needs. Therefore, a student group with seven members chose to help the community by partnering with the GEBRAKAN community which has the slogan "Take as much as you can, give as much as you can". Through a service learning approach, namely as a method of community service in the form of concrete actions obtained through classroom education and field practice. The method in implementing this community service program is grouped into three stages, namely 1) the pre-implementation stage, 2) the implementation stage, and 3) the post- implementation stage.

Abstract

This research intends to describe the attitude of the community in the village of Tanggungprigel in terms of worship activities. This worship activity was carried out in accordance with the direction of the village government in order to inhibit and break the Covid-19 chain. The condition of the community when carrying out worship activities is currently very depressed. One of them is the worship that is carried out by Muslims in the village of Tanggungprigel, Glagah District, Lamongan Regency. During this pandemic the government issued a policy in terms of performing worship. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods. The purpose of using quantitative methods is to collect specific phenomena. There are still many Muslims who cannot leave their habits when carrying out worship activities such as congregational prayers, congregational tarawih prayers, Eid prayers and recitations such as tahlilan, manaqiban, dibaan including in the village of Tanggungprigel. This phenomenon is the object of this study. The results of the study found that the religious activities of the Wargaprigel village during the covid-19 pandemic experienced many changes, initially activities that were public. Now it tends to be quiet and closed. At a deeper level, there is a unique pattern that involves four variables, namely the level of worship, the level of participation, social distancing recommendations, and the attitude of the Wargaprigel village community in implementing local village government policies.

Abstract

DKI Jakarta is a reflection of the diversity of races, nations and religions of Indonesia in the form of a city. From this diversity, DKI Jakarta has always been in the spotlight of other regions, especially politics. The governance system that is run by DKI Jakarta has always been the focus of attention, 2017 has become a political year for the election of the governor of DKI Jakarta with fierce betting both candidates for incumbent or challenger. The candidates are Batsuki Tjahatja Purnama (Ahok) - Djarot, Anies Baswedan-Sandiaga Uno, and partner Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono-Sylviana. In the first round, the pair Agus-Sylvi had to be eliminated while the pair Ahok-Djarot and Anies-Sandiaga successfully walked into the second round. Religious and ethnic elements contributed to the final results of the elections. Prospective leaders who represent the majority of the population of the region to be led, have better capital than prospective leaders who represent a minority in a country. In terms of religion, Anies-Sandiaga has similarities with the majority of the population of DKI Jakarta, which 85% of the population is Muslim. While Batsuki Tjahatja Purnama came from two layers of minority groups in Indonesia, namely Chinese and Christians. In terms of winning strategy, Anies-Sandiaga is racing to prioritize aspects of primordialism. Whereas Ahok-Djarot did not make ethnicity or religion the main issue but diversity was prioritized. Although the use of identity politics is not prohibited, the excessive use of the identity of the candidate can gradually damage the Indonesian diversity. In this scientific article, the researcher seeks to elaborate on the misuse of ethnicity and religion for political interests in the DKI Jakarta Regional Head Election in 2017. The use of ethnic and religious identities in each political year is interesting to be examined, because both of these issues have an impact quite meaningful in achieving political interests and overthrowing the opposing party.
