Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of compliance of Land and Building Tax (PBB) taxpayers in Karumbu Village, Langgudu District, Bima Regency. The research focuses on identifying factors influencing taxpayer compliance, including awareness, education, income levels, government service quality, and law enforcement. The study uses a descriptive quantitative method with secondary data from 2016 to 2019 obtained from the local tax office and village administration records. The results show that taxpayer compliance fluctuated from 2016 to 2018 but increased significantly in 2019, rising from 68% to 80%. This improvement is associated with enhanced taxpayer awareness, the effectiveness of tax officers’ performance, and the support of the village government through counseling and supervision. Education and economic stability were also found to be important determinants of compliance. However, some obstacles remain, such as low education levels and limited public understanding of tax benefits. The study concludes that sustainable tax compliance requires a comprehensive strategy involving community education, improved fiscal service quality, and strengthened transparency in tax fund management.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the speech acts of men and women in the novel Shaf by Ima Madani. The research is textual in nature and employs a pragmatic approach, using a descriptive method to analyze the data. The data consist of the novel's text, which contains various types of speech acts: representative, directive, expressive, commissive, and declarative. The primary source of data is the novel itself. Data collection was conducted through purchasing, reading, observing, and marking relevant passages. The analysis involved several steps, including data collection, reduction, display, conclusion, and verification. By applying this approach, the study identifies how men and women use different speech acts in various contexts within the narrative. The findings aim to provide insights into gender-based language patterns, illustrating how characters express, request, promise, or declare through speech. This study contributes to understanding the pragmatic functions of language in literary texts, showing the relationship between linguistic choices and character roles. Overall, the research highlights the diversity of speech acts in Shaf and demonstrates the effectiveness of a textual-pragmatic approach in literary analysis, offering a structured method for examining how dialogue reflects social and interpersonal dynamics in the novel.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Hospital Management Information System in improving administrative efficiency in inpatient services. The research employed a mixed-method approach (quantitative and qualitative) using a descriptive survey design. The sample consisted of 50 respondents, including administrative staff, medical personnel, and hospital management directly involved in the use of Management Information System, as well as 10 key informants for in-depth interviews. Data were collected through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, then analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation tests, and thematic analysis. The results indicate that Management Information System has a significant positive impact on administrative efficiency, as evidenced by improvements in process speed, data accuracy, and coordination among service units. The system also contributes to accelerating claim processes and reducing the manual workload of administrative staff. However, the effectiveness of Management Information System is still influenced by factors such as human resource readiness, training, and technological infrastructure support. The main challenges identified include limited training and technical network issues. In conclusion, Management Information System has proven effective in enhancing administrative efficiency in inpatient services, but further optimization through continuous training, managerial support, and integrated system development is required for more effective implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of hospital administrative systems in improving the quality of healthcare services. Effective administration plays a crucial role in accelerating service delivery, reducing administrative errors, and optimizing hospital resource management. This research employs a literature review method based on ten national and international scientific articles discussing the implementation of the Hospital Management Information System , administrative digitalization, and the relationship between administrative effectiveness and patient satisfaction. The findings indicate that integrated and technology-based administrative systems, such as Hospital Management Information System, significantly improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and patient satisfaction. However, the success of implementation largely depends on human resource competence, training, and managerial support. Technical issues, user resistance, and limited infrastructure remain major challenges. Therefore, strengthening human resource capacity and conducting continuous evaluations of administrative systems are essential to ensure that hospitals can deliver optimal, efficient, and sustainable healthcare services.
