Jurnal Komtika (Komputasi dan Informatika)
Aims Jurnal Komtika (Komputasi dan Informatika) is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang and is Accredited by the Ministry for Research, Technology, and Higher Education (RISTEKDIKTI)(No:200/M/KPT/2020). It is a medium for researchers, academics, and practitioners interested in Computer Science and wish to channel their thoughts and findings. Our concept of Informatics includes technologies of information and communication as well as results of research, critical, and comprehensive scientific study which are relevant and current issues covered by the journals. Jurnal Komtika publishes regular research articles. We encourage researchers to publish their theoretical and empirical results in as much detail as possible. For theoretical papers, full details of proofs must be provided so that the results can be checked; for experimental papers, full experimental details must be given so that the results can be reproduced. Additionally, electronic files or software regarding the full details of the calculations, experimental procedure, etc., can be deposited along with the publication as “Supplementary Material”. As a quality and service improvement process, the management has thought and decided to establish a new branch in Metro City. Determining the Head of Depo is an absolute necessity for a branch office to open. The importance of the duties of the Head of Depo (Kadepo) means that the management from the head office must precisely determine the Kadepo candidates to lead the branch office candidates. The decision support system for determining Depo Head candidates has the objective of selecting the Depo Head from several Depo Head candidates who have been nominated by utilizing this decision support system using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This study aims to help PT. Lancaster Nusantara Cigarindo in making decisions on the results of Candidates for Head of Depo. The five specified data for Depo Head Candidates found that the Chosen Candidate with code CK1 was the best Depo Head candidate. This proves that the SAW method can be used to determine the Candidates for the Head of Depot in a company.

Good inventory control is something that must be considered in inventory management. The world of motorbikes is a special Honda motorcycle workshop which has a problem, namely a large supply of slow moving parts while a shortage of fast moving supplies. Employees in the spare parts department are also often confused in picking up parts from the warehouse because of unclear inventory information. As a solution, an application is made that applies an optimal inventory of goods using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), which is a method used to determine the most economical amount of purchases made every time a purchase. Using services from Firebase will simplify the application development process. Because the application is general in nature, for more specific use by considering the characteristics, type and size of the goods, the application can be developed.

Library Information Systems and Academic Information Systems that are not integrated with each other have resulted in duplication and inconsistency of data. This study aims to integrate databases by implementing web services in both systems. Simperpus uses the Rest Client and SIAK uses the Rest Server. The exchange of data between the server utilizes JSON. This research uses UML as a system design modeling with several diagrams, namely use case diagrams, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, component diagrams, and deployment diagrams. Writing programming language in the study is the Codeigniter framework with MySQL database. The test results showed that the process of sending data in JSON format from SIAK to Simperpus obtained a response time of 137 ms.

Searching for appropriate land for a specific purpose is important, especially in a city. Some studies used multicriteria analysis searching for the best location, such as AHP, ANP, SAW, etc. However, the study usually uses some statistical methods that need more processing for the end-users. This study uses a Geographic Information System (GIS) to implement the multicriteria analysis for searching the proper land use location, especially for business and education in Bekasi City, West Java, Indonesia. Same layers for analysis were created using ArcGIS 10.1, including pollution, road, flood risk, open space/park, lake and recreation area, and land price. The weight-overlay method was used as a multicriteria method. The result showed the three regions for business and education, i.e. high, medium, and low suitability. The conversion from the region into administrative boundary is generated in order easy for local land-use planners to implement their plans.

Library systems of Muhammadiyah University of Magelang still uses manual way for the borrowing, renewals and returns processes, so it takes a long time to get information needed. Therefore, it needs adequate library information system for the automatic borrowing, repayment, and borrowing requests processes which produces information quickly and accurately. This research aimed to design an online Self service information system for procces in the library of Muhammadiyah University of Magelang. This system uses the online Self service for the book reservation and book extension process. Self service on this study is in the transaction book service, because the system is able to record borrowing transaction data automatically after the lending process is completed. Thus it is not necessary to input the data manually by officers transaction. This research is able to make a reservation and extension system of books online. In addition the borrowing transactions will be automatically recorded if the user uses the system. The conclusions obtained from this study is the borrower will be easier to borrow and renew online. In addition, the system can also allow officers to keep the records of transactions and to monitor the books on library Muhammadiyah University of Magelang
