This study aims to examine the effect of the Giving Question Getting Answer (GQGA) strategy supported by QnA Card media on students’ critical thinking skills in the topic of Appreciating Diversity among fourth-grade students at SD Antawirya. The research was motivated by the low level of students’ critical thinking skills, the limited use of media during learning, and the lack of effective teaching strategies in the classroom. A quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design was employed. Data were collected using pre-tests and post-tests, and analyzed through a t-test. The participants were 53 fourth-grade students divided into experimental and control groups. The results showed that the average pre-test score of the control group was 50.2, while the experimental group scored 58.21. After the intervention, the post-test average increased to 65 in the control group and 70.36 in the experimental group. The effect size analysis yielded a value of 0.999, which falls into the high category. Therefore, the GQGA strategy supported by QnA Card media is proven to be effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills in learning to appreciate diversity.

Every subject given to students does not escape a concept, including learning Natural Sciences (Science). Concepts are a basic aspect of developing the knowledge learned by someone. Unfortunately, in reality, there are still many misconceptions in learning. The aim of this research is to identify students' misconceptions about plant material at SD N Krapyak Wetan. The research method used was quantitative description using diagnostic test instruments. Based on the diagnostic tests carried out, it is known that the percentage of students' misconceptions about plant material is quite high, especially in the sub-chapter on plants and photosynthesis with a percentage of 61%. Several factors cause misconceptions in students, namely 1) Teachers' lack of understanding about students' preconceptions before learning is carried out, 2) The use of learning methods that seem like that, less innovative, 3) The use of teaching materials must also be carefully considered because this is also the cause of misconceptions in students, 4) Then there is a lack of learning innovation such as simple experimental practices which are still very rarely carried out in schools.

This study aims to assess the level of misconceptions experienced by fourth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Kasuran and to identify the contributing factors behind these misconceptions. The findings of this identification process are expected to serve as a basis for designing appropriate and relevant solutions to overcome conceptual barriers in the learning process. The research adopts a descriptive quantitative approach, employing a diagnostic test as the primary data collection instrument. The subjects of this study include all fourth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Kasuran. Based on the analysis of diagnostic test data, it was found that the level of student misconceptions regarding the topic “Parts of a Plant” reached 56%. The same percentage was observed for the topic “Photosynthesis as the Most Important Process on Earth,” also at 56%. Meanwhile, the highest level of misconception was identified in the topic “Plant Reproduction,” with a rate of 64%. Several factors were suspected to be the main causes of these misconceptions, including: 1) Learning materials that do not adequately support students’ conceptual understanding; 2) Instructional strategies employed by teachers that remain conventional and unengaging, failing to stimulate active participation from students; and 3) Unfavorable classroom conditions, in which some students struggle to maintain focus and are easily distracted due to monotonous and non-interactive learning environments. These findings highlight the urgent need for improvements in instructional content delivery, the development of more innovative teaching methods, and the creation of more effective classroom management practices to minimize misconceptions among elementary school students.

This study was motivated by the low ability of fourth-grade students to diagnose problems and formulate alternative strategies, as well as the dominance of lecture-based teaching methods and rote memorization in the classroom. The lack of challenging problems in daily learning has hindered the development of students’ critical thinking skills. This research aims to examine the effect of the Group Investigation learning model on students’ problem-solving abilities in the topic of cooperative living. The study employed a One-Group Pre-test-Post-test design with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 25 fourth-grade students from SD Rahmat Surabaya. Data were collected through problem-solving tests (pre-test and post-test), observation, and documentation as supporting instruments. Data were analyzed using the paired sample t-test. The results showed an increase in the average score from 53.4 (pre-test) to 77.6 (post-test), with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This indicates a positive and significant effect of the Group Investigation model on students’ problem-solving abilities. Additionally, the effect size value of 2.49 falls into the very high category, suggesting that the model is highly effective in enhancing problem-solving skills. Therefore, the Group Investigation model is recommended for promoting active and collaborative student engagement in the learning process.

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in mathematics learning outcomes of grade 1 students of SD Negeri 2 Prambanan with the CRT approach. This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students, seen from the learning outcomes of students who were still below the KKTP as many as 73.5% of students. This is due to the lack of teacher innovation in implementing learning so that students find it difficult to understand the learning material. The type of research used was classroom action research with the Kemmis & Mc Taggart model. This research model consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were all grade 1A students of SD N 2 Prambanan consisting of 28 students with details of 15 male students and 13 female students. Data collection techniques used observation sheets, measurement of learning test results, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis with a percentage. The results in this study showed an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle. The learning outcomes of students who had completed cycle 1 were 19 students with a percentage of 67.8%. In cycle 2, there were 25 students who had completed it with a percentage of 89.2%. The results revealed a significant increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics on the material of recognizing geometric shapes through the CRT approach.

This development research aims to produce a product in the form of an Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) based on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model by utilizing the Liveworksheet platform. The E-LKPD is expected to improve students’ understanding of fractions, specifically among fourth-grade elementary school students. The study was motivated by the low level of student comprehension in learning fraction material. The research method used is Design and Development (D&D), as developed by Richey and Klein, with the ADDIE development model, the study was conducted in the fourth grade of SD Negeri Gamping. Data collection instruments included expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. The results of this study are (1) Material expert validation obtained a percentage value of 87.5% (very decent). (2) Media expert validation obtained a percentage value of 81.8% (very decent). (3) Teacher response obtained a percentage value of 96.4% (very good). (4) Students response obtained a percentage value of 88.9% (veri good). (5) The average result of working on E-LKPD questions using the Liveworksheet website for students in groups is 86.7%. From the validation result, the the E-LKPD product is included in the “very decent” and “very good” criteria to be used as one of the supports in the technology-based learning process and interactive digital teaching materials in Mathematics subjects with fraction material. The development of E-LKPD based on PBL learning model is able to build students' enthusiasm through the presentation of challenging contextual problems, encourage active involvement during the learning process, support a deeper understanding of fraction concepts and strengthen students' readiness in facing learning challenges in the digital era.
