Abstract

This study aims to optimize the profit from selling Chai Kue products using a linear programming approach with the simplex method. In the Chai Kue production process, limited resources such as rice flour, tapioca flour, and vegetables affect the quantity of each type of kue that can be produced. This research formulates a mathematical model consisting of a profit objective function and several constraints based on the availability of raw materials. The simplex method is applied to solve the model and determine the optimal production mix that maximizes profit. The analysis results show that by optimally allocating resources, business profits can be significantly increased. This study provides efficient production strategy recommendations for small-scale entrepreneurs to manage resources optimally.

Abstract

The Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) Program is one of the government's efforts to guarantee the right to education for children from underprivileged families. This study aims to identify the role of KIP in expanding access to and equitable distribution of education in Indonesia. The method used is a literature study (library research) by examining various sources such as scientific journals, books, and official reports from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results of the study show that KIP contributes to reducing dropout rates and increasing student participation in education, especially in areas with high poverty rates. Based on 2025 data, more than 2.7 million students are registered as beneficiaries of this program. Although there are still obstacles in data collection and distribution of assistance, KIP has proven to be a concrete step in realizing educational equity and social justice in Indonesia.

Abstract

Es krim merupakan salah satu produk kuliner olahan susu yang disukai oleh berbagai kalangan karena varian rasa dan teksturnya yang lembut.  Pada kasus ini, kami melakukan penelitian pada UMKM bernama Scoop Ice cream yang masih berkembang di Pontianak, tepatnya di Jl. Prof. M Yamin no 7 kota baru, Pontianak. Ada 6 varian yang dimiliki tetapi hanya 2 varian yang menjadi prioritas untuk diproduksi setiap harinya yakni durian, dan alpukat. Namun, terdapat masalah seiring berjalannya bisnis yaitu tidak dapat mengoptimalkan produksinya untuk mendapatkan penghasilan maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kuantitas produksi yang diperlukan sehingga laba yang dihasilkan dapat dimaksimalkan  dan meminimalkan biaya secara optimal. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara bersama dengan pemilik bisnis Scoop Ice Cream. Berdasarkan penelitian melalui program linear dengan metode simpleks menunjukkan hasil perhitungan optimalisasi dengan jumlah es krim durian sebanyak 0 kali produksi dan es krim alpukat sebanyak 100 kali produksi hingga memperoleh keuntungan maksimum sebesar Rp 400.000 per hari.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the profit of the Jawara Coffee Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) by employing linear programming with the simplex method. This MSME faces challenges in determining the optimal production combination to maximize their profit with limited resources. In the production process of Jawara Coffee, this research identified decision variables, an objective function, and constraints. Production costs, selling prices, production capacity, market demand, andother relevant data were collected. Subsequently, a linear programming model was constructed and solved using the simplex method to determine the optimal production combination. This study demonstrates that the application of the simplex method can provide a significant optimal solution to enhance the profitability of the Jawara Coffee MSME. Furthermore, this research offers valuable insights and recommendations for the Jawara Coffee MSME to improve their operational efficiency and profitability amidst intense market competition.

Abstract

This study explores how effective bilingual teaching can be enhancing students vocabulary skills at SMK TIARA NUSA BORONG, specifically focusing on class X ULW 2. To measure the impact of this teaching method, the researcher use pretest and postest design. The data anlysis involve descriptive statistics and more advanced techniques like paired sample t-test and correlation analysis. The result quite promosing. On average scores jumped from 35.00 in pretest up to 73.00 in posttest then the lowest scores significantly improve, rising from 10 to 50. The analysis also show the correlation between pretest and postest with a correlation coefficient of r = .595 and a p-value of .006 , indicating that the chance were statistically significant.
