Aims & Scope Aim Journal Blended and Technical Education (JBTE) is an interdisciplinary publication of original research and writing on education that publishes papers to international audiences of educational researchers. JBTE aims to provide a forum for scholarly understanding of the field of education and plays an important role in promoting the process that accumulated knowledge, values, and skills are transmitted from one generation to another; and making methods and contents of evaluation and research in education available to teachers, administrators and research workers. Objective: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the 5E Learning Cycle Model, supported by worksheets media, on students’ learning outcomes in the topic of exponents. Research Design & Methods: This study employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The study population consists of 60 eleventh-grade students at SMK Kholiliyah Bangsri for the 2025/2026 academic year, with a sample of 52 students selected using cluster random sampling. The sample consisted of an experimental class that received instruction using the 5E Learning Cycle Model supported by worksheets and a control class that used conventional instruction. Data collection techniques included tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and the Paired Sample t-Test. Findings: The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the 5E Learning Cycle Model supported by worksheets is effective in improving student learning outcomes. The average pretest score of the experimental class increased from 54.23 to 84.65 on the posttest. The results of the Paired Sample t-Test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between learning outcomes before and after the intervention. Contributions: This study contributes to the development of constructivist-based mathematics learning through the implementation of the 5E Learning Cycle Model supported by worksheets. Novelty: This study extends constructivist learning research by providing empirical evidence that the 5E Learning Cycle Model supported by worksheets improves students' conceptual understanding of exponentiation.

Objective: This study systematically maps the forms, strategies, achievements, and challenges of digital transformation in Islamic vocational education in response to the Industry 5.0 era, emphasizing the integration of digital competencies, Islamic values, and industry relevance. Research Design & Methods: A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Literature was collected from Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, DOAJ, and SINTA databases covering publications from 2019–2025. From 612 initial records, 34 eligible articles were selected and analyzed using thematic analysis. Findings: Five major themes emerged: (1) digitization of curricula and learning materials grounded in Islamic values; (2) enhancement of digital literacy among students and educators; (3) integration of adaptive learning technologies and artificial intelligence; (4) institutional, infrastructural, and digital divide challenges; and (5) the transformation of vocational education toward a human-centric Industry 5.0 model. The review reveals that successful digital transformation depends on visionary leadership, human resource readiness, adequate technological infrastructure, and the effective integration of spiritual values into digital learning environments. Contributions: This study provides a comprehensive synthesis of digital transformation trends in Islamic vocational education and offers practical insights for policymakers, educational leaders, and industry stakeholders in developing vocational education models aligned with Industry 5.0 requirements. Novelty: This study proposes an integrative model connecting technological competence, Islamic character, and industry relevance to enhance workforce readiness in the Industry 5.0 era while synthesizing fragmented literature on digital transformation in Islamic vocational education.
