Abstract

This research was conducted to predict the effect of COVID-19 to the total of energy produced by the amount of electricity per capita. The amount of energy produced has the property of being an independent variable or can be affected and electricity consumption per capita has the nature of being an independent or influential variable. This research examines the effect of per capita electricity consumption on the total amount of energy produced in the Lampung region. The research was conducted using regression and correlation experiments. Regression research proves that there is no relationship between electricity consumption per capita and the total amount of energy produced. In contrast, in the linear correlation experiment, there is a correlation between electricity consumption per capita and the total amount of energy produced.

Abstract

Indonesia of the country with diverse tourism destinations. This invites many tourists who come to Indonesia. In addition to promising tourism, safety and comfort are also one of the selling points that tourists consider in choosing a vacation place. Many cases of child loss in Indonesia occur in tourism places that are crowded with visitors, therefore this study aims to design, build, and analyze ESP8266-based child monitoring bracelets connected to smart phones. It can send the current location of the wristband to the smartphone so that the position of the missing child can be tracked by the parents. The test is carried out by measuring the distance between the two tools, if the distance between the parent and the child's bracelet reaches a maximum distance (50 meters) then the alarm on each bracelet will sound and within a radius below the maximum distance when the parent activates the switch, the alarm on the child will be active and vice versa. It’s hoped that the existence of this smart bracelet can directly detect the location of children that are far from the reach of parents and can reduce cases of child loss that occur in tourism places crowded with visitors.

Abstract

The charity box is one of the important tools in the collection of alms funds in mosques in every area. Despite having a significant role in funding, the activities and maintenance of mosques, charity boxes often face a number of problems, such as inefficient manual calculations, risk of theft, and security in the implementation of e-money systems. This article looks at designing a smart charity box that solves these problems. This smart charity box uses the latest technology, including the TCS 34725 color sensor to detect and identify money coming into the charity box. In addition, the charity box is equipped with a line follower system that allows the charity box to move automatically following the flow of worshippers inside the mosque to collect alms. All incoming money data is recorded and calculated automatically, which can be accessed through an application on a smart phone owned by mosque officials. In addition to efficiency in collecting and calculating charity funds, this smart charity box also improves the security of the charity box by integrating a GPS security system and reducing physical contact between pilgrims and charity boxes, which is very relevant to the clean culture implemented from the pandemic period that has passed. Through the integration of technology and innovation, line follower-based smart charity boxes are expected to increase alms fund collection, maintain the security of these funds, and provide comfort to pilgrims in charity.

Abstract

Electrical energy is one of the major needs of society and an important economic resource required for various activities. With population growth and development, power demand will increase in the future, the development of industry and technology, and the development of the educational world. This study focuses on estimating the total amount of energy sold based on the population of South Sumatra from 2014 to 2021. The methods used are simple linear regression and correlation methods. Regression analysis is used to investigate and measure statistical relationships that occur between two or more variables. Judging from the population calculation data for 2020-2021 and data from BPS South Sumatra, the calculated population is much greater than the population in the BPS data. This also applies to the total amount of energy data (with KWh units), for the total amount of energy in 2020 of 5,308.450000 KWh in the expected range of values, this is in the range of 5,215,695,859 < y < 5,626,645,251  while for the total energy 2021 according to PLN data 5,593,930,000 KWh which is in the predicted range value, which is in the range of 5,290,517,098 < y < 6,284,994,826. This is because population growth affects the increase in total energy consumption

Abstract

The development and utilization of computer networks have experienced rapid growth in recent years. Many organizations and offices now rely on computer networks as their primary means of carrying out tasks. This research aims to analyze the performance of two dynamic routing methods, OSPF and RIP, in the network architecture at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta. In this study, OSPF uses the smallest cost value as the best route, while RIP uses the closest distance between nodes as the best route to reach the destination host. Furthermore, this research conducts testing on Quality of Service (QoS) parameters such as delay, packet loss, and throughput to determine the most suitable method. The testing is conducted in two scenarios: when the network is not busy and when the network is busy. Additionally, there are three testing stages: when all network connections are established, when one route is disconnected, and when two routes are disconnected between routers. The test results show that the best method is RIP with an average delay of 4.7 ms, 0% packet loss, and a throughput of 163.156 Kbps when the network is not busy. On the other hand, when the network is busy, the best method is RIP with an average delay of 16.9 ms, 0% packet loss, and a throughput of 23.006 Kbps.

Abstract

Nowadays, electricity has become one of the essential factors in daily life. It can be said that almost every object around us uses electricity to function. The main factor influencing electricity usage is the number of electronic devices in a person's home, which is also affected by that individual's income. This study aims to analyse the effect of Indonesia's per capita income on household electricity consumption from 2014 to 2022. Simple linear correlation and regression methods are used to identify the relationship between the variables of per capita income and household electricity consumption. Economic and electricity consumption data were obtained from official sources, and the analysis was conducted using the latest statistical software.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a street lighting solution in the Limo area using solar panel-based lighting technology. Using thin-film solar panels with an efficiency of 7-13% and a maximum power of 200WP, solar energy is converted into electricity and stored in batteries. Simulations show that the solar panels can produce 1 KWh of energy, allowing storage of approximately 312.3Ah in the batteries. LED lights, which consume 22.94 Ah, can provide illumination for 13.613 hours. Motion sensors activate the lights only when movement is detected, optimizing energy use. The evaluation indicates that this research contributes positively to increasing public understanding of Renewable Energy (EBT), encourages the adoption of solar technology, and raises awareness about the importance of energy and water resilience. The findings highlight the potential for sustainable lighting with renewable energy and its social impact on the community.

Abstract

The importance of security technology in educational environments has led to the implementation of an RFID-based Smart Lock Door system with ESP32 at SMAN 1 Tajurhalang. Socialization and education are key to ensuring effective understanding and application by students and staff. Interactive socialization activities and in-depth education about this system aim to increase awareness and understanding of extracurricular room security. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ familiarity and knowledge, from 48% to 91.21%, after training. This increase demonstrates the effectiveness of socialization in changing attitudes and behaviors related to security in extracurricular spaces, creating a safe and conducive learning environment.
