DIDAKTIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar is an international, open access, multidisciplinary, double-blind peer-reviewed journal that is online publishes two times in a year. DIDAKTIKA distributes articles that relate to both meta-analysis (include systematical review) and research and their suggestions for teaching and learning in primary school. Moreover, DIDAKTIKA presents articles that relate the most recent research in teacher education, children development, psychology of learning, inclusion, special education, teaching strategy and innovation, and educational assessment that all related to primary education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan  pola pendidikan nilai kepedulian sosial melalui budaya sekolah  di SD Tumbuh 1 Jl. A.M. Sangaji No. 48 Kelurahan Cokrodiningratan, Kecamatan Jetis,Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Tumbuh 1 Yogyakarta. Obyek penelitian adalah semua fenomena yang menjadi fokus penelitian, sedangkan subyeknya  SD Tumbuh 1 Yogyakarta. Narasumber adalah pengurus sekolah, guru, siswa, karyawan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Untuk memperoleh keabsahan data, dilakukan dengan uji kredibilitas, triangulasi baik teknik, sumber dan  waktu,  Peer debriefing. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif, meliputi: reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Pendidikan nilai kepedulian sosial di SD Tumbuh 1 Yogyakarta dilaksanakan tidak hanya melalui kurikulum dalam bentuk mata pelajaran integratif dengan Pendidikan Multikultural, akan tetapi juga dilaksanakan dalam diri pribadi warga sekolah baik guru, tenaga administrasi, tenaga pembantu umum bahkan penjaga keamanan, dalam bentuk keteladanan konkrit. Di samping itu, bangunan sekolah baik interior maupun eksterior dimanfaatkan secara cerdas oleh sekolah untuk membangun karakter siswa, salah satunya kepedulian pada cagar budaya bangsa.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the talking activity in Topic 2: Playing Around in My Environment of class IIC in SD Negeri Jarakan through the use of Time Token model. The data collecting methods were observation and documentation. The data analytic techniques were quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive. The research’s result shows that there is an improvement in class IIC’s talking activity using Time Token model. It is proven by the percentage of the students who surpassed the minimum passing criteria during learning activity which was 13,04% in pre cycle increased to 19,66% in cycle 1 and increased again to 60,86% in cycle 2. The result is supported by the observation’s result that recorded the teacher and students’ activity in using Time Token model, which was 85,29% in cycle 1 increased to 88,23% in cycle 2. The four aspects of talking activity are stating feelings, giving suggestions, asking, transferring ideas, and discussion.

Abstract

This research aims at improving the 2nd grade students’s early writing skills using Illustrated Diary in SD Timbulharjo. The subjects were all students of 2nd class (25 students). The object of this research was the enhancing of 2nd B class students's early writing skills. This research use the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart’s design. The data collection’s methods using observation, test (performance), and documentation. Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results shows that the IInd B class student’s early writing skills have enhanced during the action. The results obtains from the comparison of the class’s completeness percentage on Pra Cyle, Ist Cycle, and 2nd Cycle. Student’s completeness percentage on Pra Cycle was 36% (9 students) with “less” criteria have increased to 52% (13 students) on Cycle Ist with “enough” criteria. On Cycle IInd, student’s completeness percentage have increased to 76% (19 students) with “good” criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the social skills of V.C class students through role playing methods. This research is a classroom action research with research subjects of V.C class of SD Muhammadiyah Karangkajen, Yogyakarta. This study focuses on improving students' social skills. Data collection techniques are obtained through observation, interviews and measurements through social skills scale. The analysis technique used is by comparing the results of social skills before and after the action. The results of this study are an increase in the scores of students' social skills. From pre-cycle activities to cyclum II experienced an increase in the number of students in the high category. Prasiklus shows 68% of students fall into the high category, then increase to 92% in cycle I and cycle II. Based on the results of cycles I and II show that the role playing method as one of the learning methods to improve students' social skills.

Abstract

This research has purpose to improve of study result through Snowball Throwing learning model lesson content social studies theme 1 sub theme 2 and 3 in grade V-A SDN Timbulharjo Sewon Bantul. This research is action classroom research and research desain using Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model. Subject in this research were 30 students in grade V-A SDN Timbulharjo. Object in this research were improving study result of students. Instruments used in this research were observation sheet and test. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. The result of this research are improve of study result through Snowball Throwing learning model lesson content social studies theme 1 sub theme 2 and 3 in grade V-A SDN Timbulharjo, that is 61,83 achievment complete of sudent 46,66% in first cycle to 77,33 achievment complete of sudent 90% in second cycle.
