Abstract

Instability is a balance disorder that is at risk of injury and the risk of falling in the elderly. The ergo care heel rise exercise intervention is one of the treatments that can be given to the elderly at risk of falling. This research analyzes nursing care for the elderly who experience instability and are at risk of falling using the ergo care heel rise exercise intervention at Sentra Gau Mabaji Gowa. The method used is a descriptive approach through the case study method. The subjects in this study were the elderly who experienced instability with a risk of falling. The instruments used in this study were the Morse scale/MFS (Morse Fall Scale) the balance scale and the SOP for giving the ergo care heel rise exercise intervention. Data analysis is presented in textual form various facts presented in text form and explained narratively. The results show that the administration of the ergo care heel rise exercise intervention to the elderly who experienced instability with the risk of falling at the Sentra Gau Mabaji Gowa with successive implementations was carried out for 3 days on March 29-31 2023 and found that the results of the questionnaire before the intervention were on the Morse scale of 75 and the balance value is 7. After the intervention is carried out on the Morse scale of 65 the balance value is 5. It can be concluded that there is an effectiveness of giving the ergo care heel rise exercise intervention to the risk of falling in the elderly. Based on the results of the nursing evaluation in the case, it was stated that giving the ergo care heel rise exercise intervention could improve balance in the elderly who are at risk of falling

Abstract

The results of a survey in the working area of ​​the Pacellekang Health Center, especially in Tambung Batu Hamlet, showed that cases of diabetes mellitus (DM) were in the second highest position after hypertension, so special attention is needed to prevent an increase in cases of diabetes mellitus and prevent complications. The aim was to analyze nursing care for the family of Mrs. R who had diabetes mellitus with ineffective health management using walking exercise interventions in the working area of ​​the Pacellekang Health Center, Gowa Regency. This study used a case study method with data collection techniques starting from family studies using observation and interview methods. Walking exercise interventions were given to Mrs. R according to the schedule 4 times in 2 weeks. The results obtained were that after the intervention there was an increase in family independence and a decrease in patient blood sugar. Thus, it can be concluded that walking exercise is effective in increasing family independence in caring for and lowering blood sugar levels in DM patients

Abstract

Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure that can cause sleep disorders. Sleep pattern disorders are where individuals experience sleep disorders including difficulty falling asleep, waking up in the middle of the night, and waking up too early. Autogenic relaxation is a relaxation that comes from positive suggestions that have been proven to have a calming effect on individuals and can improve sleep quality. This relaxation is easy to do, does not require cost, and does not require training. This study aims to describe nursing care with the application of autogenic relaxation techniques to improve sleep quality. The method used in this study is a descriptive case study method. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations. The instrument used was the PSQI Assessment, with sleep pattern disorders related to lack of sleep control according to the signs and symptoms in the SDKI. The interventions given were 4 interventions following SIKI with the application of autogenic relaxation techniques. Results: After autogenic relaxation therapy was applied for 3 meetings, the PSQI assessment results decreased from 9 to 5, meaning good sleep quality. This study concludes that autogenic relaxation can improve the sleep quality of elderly hypertensive patients. It is hoped that from the results of this special study, respondents will be able to apply autogenic relaxation techniques independently.

Abstract

Abstract Coronary heart disease is a disease caused by plaque that builds up in the coronary arteries which supply oxygen to the heart muscle which causes the sufferer to experience sleep disturbances, so music therapy is given. Music therapy is a therapy that uses music as a way to reduce sleep disorders experienced by the patient. where music therapy provides a therapeutic effect for those who listen to it. The descriptive case study research design included 1 respondent, and data collection was done through interviews, observation, and physical examination. The instruments used were PSQI assessment format, general assessment format, informed consent, and objects in cellphones and headsets. The data analysis used is data reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The intervention carried out was classical music therapy. After carrying out nursing actions for 3 meetings in 1 week, it was found that the client's sleep quality improved and the problem was resolved with sleep. PSQI results before therapy were 9 (medium sleep quality) and after therapy 5 (good sleep quality) and the client became more relaxed and slept better. This case study concludes that sleep quality has improved. Classical music therapy can be applied to the elderly by considering the type of sleep quality, length, and time of administration so that it is truly effective in overcoming sleep pattern disorders

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of incentives and work environment directly and indirectly on job satisfaction through nurses' self-efficacy. The type of research used is a survey method with data collection through observation methods and distributing questionnaires. This study was conducted at the Regional General Hospital involving 80 nurses in the inpatient room. The data that has been collected is then explained using Structural Equation Modeling analysis with the Covariance approach, namely SEM PLS. The results of this study prove that (1) incentives have a positive and significant effect on nurses' job satisfaction both directly and indirectly through nurses' self-efficacy in the inpatient room of the Regional General Hospital, and (2) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on nurses' job satisfaction both directly and indirectly through nurses' self-efficacy in the inpatient room of the Regional General Hospital. Therefore, the hospital needs to pay attention to providing incentives and a conducive work environment to improve nurses' self-efficacy and job satisfaction to find out incentives and work environment directly and indirectly on job satisfaction through nurses' self-efficacy.
