Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which the Deep Learning approach through Problem Based Learning assisted by Google Sites is able to encourage in-depth understanding, critical thinking, and better problem solving skills to improve student learning achievement in class XII of SMK N 1 Nanggulan. This study was designed through a case study to explore the application of IT-integrated deep learning in Google Sites. Data sources consisted of teachers, and students who had direct experience in this method, selected through the planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques used observation, documentation, test instruments. The instruments used were observation, guidelines, interviews, and learning outcome tests. The study was declared successful if students' in-depth understanding, critical thinking, and active ability provided student learning outcomes. The analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The study findings showed that the Deep Learning Problem Based Learning model was able to improve conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, and student creativity. It has also been proven that the application of this method through using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Google Sites can increase student active involvement, resulting in an increase in student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Mendeskripsikan analisis kebutuhan media pembelajaran bahasa indonesia di SMPN 1 Banguntapan. (2) Mengembangkan media pembelajaran bahasa indonesia berbasis canva terintegrasi Tri-N untuk mengetahui kreativitas siswa. (3) Mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis canva terintegrasi Tri-N untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas siswa. (4) Mengetahui efektifitas pengembangan media pembelajaran bahasa indonesia berbasis canva terintegrasi Tri-N untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode penelitian pengembangan R&D (Research and Development) yang terdiri dari 10 tahapan yaitu : studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, uji coba terbatas, revisi hasil uji coba terbatas, uji lapangan lebih luas, revisi hasil uji coba lapangan lebih luas, uji kelayakan, revisi hasil uji kelayakan, diseminasi dan mengimplementasikan produk ahir. Hasil penelitian ini (1) Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan guru membutuhkan media pembelajaran berupa E-Modul untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran yang efektif dan pembelajaran yang interaktif. (2) Penelitian ini berhasil mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa E-Modul yang interaktif dan inovatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia teks observasi SMP kelas VIII/8. (3) Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, E-Modul bahasa Indonesia pada materi teks observasi layak digunakan. dapat di buktikan dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari ahli media sebesar 62% berkategori baik, dari nilai maksimal 100% . nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari ahli materi 80% berkategori sangat baik. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari guru materi 73% berkategori baik. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari guru media 64% berkategori baik. Pada uji efektivitas bahwa uji coba kelas eksperimen yang sangat meningkat di bandingkan kelas kontrol. Sehingga E-Modul bahasa Indonesia materi teks observasi SMP kelas 8 sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. (4) Berdasarkan uji efektivitas E-Modul dengan menggunakan uji t (paired sample test). hasil uji coba menunjukkan peningkatan kelompok eksperimen yang signifikan dibandingkan kelas kontrol, dengan kata lain media pengembangan berupa E-Modul sangat efektif diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Teacher competence in delivering relevant and effective learning innovations plays a critical role in improving education quality. However, many educators struggle to develop and implement creative teaching strategies consistently. This study investigates how coaching-based professional learning communities (PLCs) contribute to enhancing teachers’ competence in innovative pedagogical practices. Employing a literature review and analysis of best practices, the study explores the integration of structured coaching, peer collaboration, and reflective dialogue within PLCs. The coaching model emphasized continuous feedback, contextual problem-solving, and shared experiences among educators. Findings suggest that such communities foster pedagogical transformation by supporting teachers’ capacity to design student-centered, creative learning activities aligned with classroom needs. The coaching process not only builds technical skills but also encourages deep reflection, strengthening professional growth through a collaborative culture. This study concludes that coaching-based PLCs offer a sustainable approach to bridging the gap between theoretical training and classroom practice. The contribution of this research lies in its practical framework for advancing teacher competency through experiential, contextual, and collegial support systems.
Improving Students' Pre-Reading Skills Through Playing Picture and Word Cards at Nurul Hudha Serut Kindergarten

Abstract

Pre-reading skills are essential foundational abilities that young children must acquire before entering the formal reading stage. However, many students struggle to recognize letters and words due to a lack of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning methods. This study aims to improve the pre-reading skills of Group B kindergarten students through the use of picture cards and word cards in a play-based activity. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. A total of 25 students actively participated in the study. The instruments used to collect data included interviews, observation, and documentation. The procedures consisted of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. Data were analyzed using triangulation techniques. The results showed an improvement in the pre-reading abilities of Group B students at TK Nurul Hudha, Serut, Gedangsari, Gunungkidul. This improvement demonstrates that the use of picture and word cards is effective in enhancing children's pre-reading skills. Therefore, this study concludes that a play-based approach using picture and word cards can serve as an innovative solution for early literacy instruction in kindergarten. This research contributes to enriching joyful and meaningful learning methods for early childhood education..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajerial kepala TK dalam upaya peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru pada era digital di Taman Kanak-kanak ABA Boyong, Sleman. Era digital menuntut adaptasi cepat dalam praktik pembelajaran, sehingga kompetensi guru menjadi krusial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala TK dan guru-guru di TK ABA Boyong yang berlokasi di Boyong, Hargobinangun, Pakem, Sleman, dengan jumlah guru 8 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala TK ABA Boyong menjalankan peran manajerial yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan dalam pengembangan kompetensi guru. Perencanaan dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan guru terkait literasi digital dan pemanfaatan teknologi. Pengorganisasian melibatkan pembentukan tim pengembang, alokasi sumber daya, dan fasilitasi pelatihan. Pelaksanaan diwujudkan melalui program pelatihan internal, pendampingan, serta mendorong kolaborasi antar guru. Pengawasan dilakukan melalui evaluasi berkala terhadap implementasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Peran manajerial kepala TK sangat signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru di era digital, meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam hal ketersediaan infrastruktur dan motivasi individu guru.
