Abstract

The Influence of Parents’ Comitment, Work Motivation and Work Atmosphere on Primary School Teacher Productivity in Imogiri District, Bantul Regency 2012/2013. The purpose of this research is to figure out the influence of parents’ commitment, work motivation and work atmosphere on Primary School teachers’ productivity in Imogiri District, Bantul Regency 2012/2013. The participants of the research are teachers of Primary School in Imogiri District from 22 schools, with the total participant 298. The sampel was taken154 teachers with a proportional random sampling. Nomogram Harry King formula was used to determine the total of the sample using 95% confident (5% of error standard) which was taken from 298 teachers. Techniques of data collection is by using questionnaires. The method used in this research in descriptive correlative with quantitative approach. The rules analysis test was normality test, linearity test and multicolinearity tested. The data analysis used are multiple regression analysis, F-test and partial correlation analysis. Determination coefficient analysis is used to find out effective contribution and relative contribution.The result of this research shows these following condition: (1) There is positive and significant influence among parents’ commitment, work motivation and school work atmosphere on Primary School teachers’ productivity in Imogiri District, Bantul Regency. Parents’ commitment contributes 46,70% effective contribution, followed school work atmosphere 16,80% and work motivation 4,20%. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of parents’ commitment toward Primary School teachers’ productivity in Imogiri District, (3) There is positive and significant influence of work motivation toward Primary School teachers’ productivity in Imogiri District, (4) There is a positive and significant influence of School work atmosphere toward teachers’ productivity in Imogiri District , Bantul Regency 2012/2013.

Abstract

The research is purposed to understand the implementation of education development program for disable students of Yapenas Depok Sleman who have students with different types of disability which of course in the implementation of development programs, there are in contrast to regular school.This study used a qualitative approach. The sources of data are derived from sources or informants which include head of school, vice-head of school, teachers, staff, parents, school committees, as well as documents relating to the implementation of education development program. The data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and document scrutiny. For the validity test of data, it is done by extending research, triangulation of data, and auditing or verification of data. The results show that (1) Disable School of National Education Foundation (Yapenas) in the implementation of development programs of education for disable students has involved all the components and the learning method which vary are guided by the teaching staff which meets the standards qualification of BSc and MSc degrees, so that in the implementation of education development programs for disable students, it is to be effective, namely targeted at students through skill and efficient, namely the skill activities which are developed and really produced to be having value selling which the value is greater than the required capital. Thus in accordance with the expectations target, it is proved that the graduates of disable school for disable students, Yapenas, have many independent, namely capable to build entrepreneurship itself such as developing fisheriesat home, able to make high value bags, able to manage a grocery store at home, so that its output accomplished the planned purposes. (2) The supporting factors of the implementation of education development programs for disable students are for accepting new students it can be served at any time in hours of service, availability of teachers who meet the qualifications, availability of varied instructional media and produce work skills which have high sales value, building of co-operation with business and/or industrial worlds. (3) The inhibiting factors in this program are the lack of teacher skills, delays in government funding, lack of administrative personnel, special tools and operators.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the compensatory learning program management which includes planning, implementation, evaluation of compensatory learning for deaf children that cored in special program the Development Comunication Perception of Sound and Rhythm at Special Education Public School 2 Bantul. This study is a qualitative approach. Research sites in Special Education Public School 2 in Bantul. Collecting data using the technique of participant observation, interviews, and documentation. Extend the validity of the data obtained with triangulation. The data were analyzed using an interactive model of Miles and Hubermen, performed during data collection and after data collected by the reduction of data, verification of data and subsequent conclusions. Llesson planning of special program development communication perception of sounds and rhythms as adequate compensatory program. Implementation learning is quite systematic with reference to the scope of the material, standard and basic competencies. In principle the learning evaluation has been made but has not optimal because it just been emphasis on the evaluation of cognitive and psychomotor aspects. It is recommended to related stakeholder such as school administrators, teachers and the government to improve the quality of services for children with special needs, especially children with hearing impairment.

Abstract

The Influence of School Role model, Work Motivation, and Infrastructure on the Performance of State Junior High Schools Teachers in the Regency of Bantul. This study is purposed to describe the influence of school Role model, work motivation, and infrastructure on the performance of state junior high school teachers in the Regency of Bantul on academic year of 2012/2013. This research is a quantitative correlational approach. The data wos taken from the population, i.e. from the state junior high schools teachers in the Regency of Bantul. The sampling used a proportionate random sampling. The techniques of data collection use questionnaire instruments. The analysis techniques used multiple regression techniques with three predictors. The simultaneous hypothesis testing uses F-test or ANOVA were are followed by partial hypothesis tests, i.e. with t-test. The data were tested using analysis of test requirements, i.e. the normality test, linearity, and multicollinearity test with a significance level of 5%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: (1) there is a positive and significant simultaneous influence of school Role model, work motivation, and infrastructure on the performance of state junior high school teachers in the Regency of Bantul; (2) there is a negative and significant partial influence of school Role model on the performance of state junior high school teachers in the Regency of Bantul; (3) there is a negative and significant partial influence of working motivation on the performance of state junior high school teachers in the Regency of Bantul; and (4) there is a positive and not significant partial influence of infrastructure on the performance of state junior high school teachers in the Regency of Bantul. The simultaneous effective contribution is 81,8%. The partial effective contribution of (1) the school Role model on the performance of state junior high school teachers in the Regency of Bantul is 31,3%; (2) the work motivation on the performance of state junior high school teachers in the Regency of Bantul is 14.2%; and (3) the infrastructure on the performance of state junior high school teachers in the Regency of Bantul is 30,6%.

Abstract

The Influence of the Headmaster Leadership, Working Enveronment and Working Motivation toward Teachers Performance of Public Senior High School and Islamic Public Senior High School (SMA N & MA N) Teacher of Wonrk Group of 1 Sleman Regency. This research was aimed to find out the influence of headmaster leadership, working enveronment and working motivation on the performance of public Senior Hight School teachers of Work Group 1 in Sleman Regency. This research data were collected using questionaires distributed to public teacher at the following schools : SMA N 1 Kalasan, SMA N 1 Prambanan, SMA N 1 Depok and MAN Maguwoharjo. There were 166 teachers in the population. The sample of 110 teachers were selected using Random sampling. The result of the research shows that the headmater leadership, working enveronment,and working motivation have positive and significant influence on teachers performance. The headmaster leadership contrebuted effectively 7, 26 % to teachers performance. The working enveronment contributed effectively 1, 71 % to teachers performance and working motivation contributed effectively 19, 21 % to teaachers performance.

Abstract

The Influence of School Culture, Facility, and the Quality of Services on the Effectiveness of School Management Information System at Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 and Senior High School Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta. This study was aimed to investigate the influence of school culture, facility, and the quality of services, individually or collectively on the effectivity of school management information system at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 and SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta. The population of the study was 1847 students. The number of the sample was gainedbased on Harry King nomogram was 332 students. In this study, the writer used the proportional stratified random sampling technique. For the data gathering, the writer used a questionnaire with a Likert Scale. The data gathered then were analyzed by using the software of Statistical Package for Social Science(SPSS) version 16. The technique used for testing the hypothesis was the multipleregression analysis with three predictors and partial correlation on 5% significance.The results of the study showed that (1) School culture, facility, and the quality of service had positive and significant influence to effectivity of school management information system. (2) School culture had positive and significant influence to effectivity of schoolmanagement information system. (3) Facility had positive and significant influence to effectivity of school management information system. (4) The quality of service had positive and significant influence to effectivity of school management information system. The total of effective contribution was 39.86% which meant that there were other factors of 60.14% out of the school culture, facility, and quality of services which influenced the effectivity of school management information system. From the effective contribution, the variable of school facility has provided the highest contribution which was followed by school facility and the quality of services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen pembelajaran Bina Komunikasi Persepsi Bunyi dan Irama (BKPBI), secara lebih khusus penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) perencanaan pembelajaran BKPBI untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi siswa tunarungu, 2) pengorganisasian pembelajaran BKPBI untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi siswa tunarungu, 3) pelaksanaan pembelajaran BKPBI untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi siswa tunarungu, 4) evaluasi pembelajaran BKPBI untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi siswa tunarungu, dan 5) dampak positif pembelajaran BKPBI terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berkomunikasi siswa tunarungu di SLB Negeri 2 Bantul. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SLB Negeri 2 Bantul. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa, guru kelas, guru bidang studi, dan kepala sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan mencatat dokumen (content analysis). Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis bertahap mulai dari reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (display data), dan menarik kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: pertama, perencanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menyusun RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran), namun kelemahannya, RPP kurang menjadi acuan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Kedua, pengorganisasian pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menyiapkan sumber daya pembelajaran seperti guru dan siswa, serta peralatan pembelajaran, namun sarana ruang kedap suara sebagai tempat pembelajaran BKPBI belum ada. Ketiga, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan mengelola materi pembelajaran, fasilitas pendukung pembelajaran dan peserta didik. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran BKPBI dipandu oleh guru dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak tunarungu dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi. Keempat, evaluasi pembelajaran dilakukan pada saat proses dan akhir pembelajaran, namun kelemahannya adalah evaluasi hanya dilakukan dengan tes dan praktik unjuk kerja. Kelima, pembelajaran BKPBI berdampak pada peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak tunarungu di SLB N 2 Bantul.

Abstract

The Influence of Work Motivation, Organizational Culture and Leadership Style on Teacher Performance of High School in The Country East Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province. The purpose of this study is: (1) to determine the effect of job motivation, organizational culture and leadership style on teacher performance, (2) to determine the effect of motivation on the job performance of teachers, (3) the influence of organizational culture on the performance of teachers and (4) to know the influence of leadership style on teacher performance. This research is quantitative. Population in this study were all high school teachers in the Country as Eastern Halmahera Regency, North Maluku province, amounting to 92 people. Data collection using a questionnaire which includes teacher performance , motivation, organizational culture and leadership style . Data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variables simultaneously. The results showed that job motivation, organizational culture and leadership style simultaneously and partially positive influence on the performance of high school teachers in the Country East Halmahera Regency North Maluku Province, then the hypothesis is proven true. In the determination coefficient test showed variable work motivation, organizational culture and leadership style on teacher performance by 28.1% while the remaining 71, 9% is explained by other variables outside of this study. The magnitude of the effective contribution that can affect the performance of teachers to work motivation by 8.5%, amounting to 5.4% of organizational culture and leadership style was 14.2%.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the management of library in order to increase the academic achievement in MAN Yogyakarta III which include : (1) planning of library management, (2) organizing of library management programm, (3) the implemetation of library management programm,and (4) evaluation of library management program. This is a qualitative research. MAN Yogyakarta III was choosen as the research sitebecause this library school had got the first champion in national library competition. Data collecting method was conducted by means of observation, interview, and documentation. Milesand Huberman’s model of qualitative data was used to analyze it . The result of the research shows that the library management in MAN Yogyakarta III has been well managed. Students had been motivated to use all facilities in this library. They like to read and discussion in the library, because the room was so comfortable that they like to study there. Involvement of all person in this school can be shown in library management, they keep in pleasure, cleanliness, care of books, used them carefully, and encourage any programms was hold by the library. Library existance has been complete and has some interesting programms that can influence the increase of student’s academic achievements. Based on observation, there is a significant increasing in student’s academic achievement in MAN Yogyakarta III after the management has beenmanaged well. In fact, after the library has got the winner in national library competition, students academic achievements increase deeply. So, the existance of library must be kept, and more rised up in the management, so that it can be more and more useful to any person.

Abstract

The Influence of Principal Supervising, Teacher’s Creativity, and Participation of Deliberation Subject Teachers on Teachers Performance of Public Junior High School’s of a Lendah Sub-District Kulonprogo Regency. The study was aimed at knowing: (1) the influence of principal supervising, teacher’s creativity and participation of Deliberation Subject Teachers in simultaneous on the teacher’s performance of public junior high schools of Lendah Sub-District Kulonprogo Regency. (2) the influence of supervising principal on the performance of public junior high schools of Lendah Sub-District Kulonprogo Regency, (3). the influence of teacher’s creativity on the teacher’s performance of public junior high schools of Lendah Sub- District Kulonprogo Regency, and (4) the influence of participation of deliberation subject teachers on the teacher’s performance of public junior high schools of Lendah Sub-District Kulonprogo Regency. Correlation descriptive approach was adopted in this study. The research was conducted at junior high schools of a Lendah Sub-District Kulonprogo Regency. Proportionale random sampling was used in the study. Questionnaire was used for collecting the data. The data were analyzed by multiple regression analyses with prerequisite test analysis of normality, linierity, and multicollinearity with degree of significance of 5 %. The study found that : (1) there is a positive significant simultaneous influence of principal supervising, teacher’s creativity, and participation of deliberation subject teachers on the teacher’s performance of public junior high schools of Lendah Sub-District Kulonprogo Regency, (2). there is a positive significant influence of principal supervising on the teacher’s performance of public junior high schools of Lendah Sub- District Kulonprogo Regency, (3) there is a positive significant influence of teacher’s creativity on the teachers’s performance of public junior high schools of Lendah Sub-District Kulonprogo Regency, (4) there is a positive significant influence of participation of deliberation subject teachers on teachers’s performance of public junior high schools of Lendah Sub-District Kulonprogo Regency
