Abstract

The research aims to understand : (1) the influence of teacher’s competence, principal supervision and work motivation simultaneusly on the teacher’s performance of SLB Gugus Timur Bantul Regency. (2) the influence of teacher’s competence partially on the teacher’s performance of SLB Gugus Timur Bantul Regency (3) the influence of Principal Supervision partially on the teacher’s Performance of SLB Gugus Timur Bantul Regency. (4) the influence of work motivation partially on the teacher’s performance of SLB Gugus Timur Bantul Regency.The population of the research was whole teachers of SLB Gugus Timur Bantul Regency amounting to 141 teachers. Sampling in the study using technique of proportional random sampling of 103 teachers. The data collected by using questionaires form which had been tested to the 30 teachers and had been qualified of validity by the pearson correlation technique and reliability requirement with alpha’s cronbach technique. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis, multiple regression and partial correlation, which was preceded by the prerequisite test analysis that were normality test, linearity test and multicollinearity test.The research results show that the teacher’s performance is at high category, teacher’s competence is at high category, principal supervision at high category and work motivation at high category. The result of multiple regression analysis shows 1) there is a positive and significant influence of the teacher’s competence, principals supervision and work motivation simultaneusly on the teacher’s performance of SLB Gugus Timur Bantul Regency. It means that the higher of teacher’s competence, principals supervision and work motivation, it will be the higher the performance of teachers. Results of partial correlation analysis shows 2). There is positive and significant influence of teacher's competence partially on the teacher’s performance of SLB Gugus Timur Bantul Regency. It means that the higher of teacher’s competence then will be increasingly higher of teacher's performance. 3.) there is positive and significant influence of principal supervision partially on the teacher’s performance of SLB Gugus Timur Bantul Regency. It means that the higher of principal supervision, then the higher of the teacher’s performance; and 4) there is positive and significant influence of work motivation partially on the teacher’s performance of SLB Gugus Timur Bantul Regency. It means that the higher of the work motivation then it will be the higher teacher’s performance.

Abstract

The objective of the research are to describe inclusion education management to increase the learning output quality of children with special needs which includes planning, application, evaluation, obstacles, and effort to overcome the obstacles of inclusion education management to increase the learning output quality of children at Tamansiswa Ibu Pawiyatan Elementary School, Yogyakarta.This reaserach is a qualitative-descriptive research. It is conducted at Tamansiswa Ibu Pawiyatan Elementary School, Yogyakarta. The data resources of this research were headmaster, teachers, teacher's assistants, school's treasurers, and school's supporting facilities. Data collection technique used in this research were interview, observation, and documentation. The research findings was analysed and reported in meaningful qualitative words. The researcher acts as an instrument. The data validity test used data credibility test which covers validity, reliability, and objectivity. In addition to persistent observation, the researcher also used triangulation kredibility test. The technique to check data validity was triangulation method to test credibility.The research findings show that 1) the planning applied in Tamansiswa Ibu Pawiyatan Elementary School does not work to its maximum effect since the school is still using original KTSP 2) the application of learning activity works quite well, the teachers' lack of knowlwdge in inclusion education 3) the evaluation of inclusion education application do it 4) the obstacles curriculum was still the original KTSP, the of lack facilities and infrasructure provided by the school, financial management which does not give authority to the school to self-manage itself; 5) the effort done by the school to overcome the obstacles in curriculum planning was to implement modified curriculum.

Abstract

 The study is aimed to determine a.) How much influence of the school leadership on teacher is performance, b.) How much influence of the welfare on the teacher’s performance, c.) How much influance of work discipline on teacher is performance, d.) How much influence of the principal leadership,welfare and discipline of work on teacher’s performance.This research was conducted in Vocational High School (SMK) in District Pakem ,namely SMK Muhammadiyah Pakem,SMK Sanjaya Pakem,SMK Kanisius Pakem,SMK HP I and HP II Pakem.This research applied a quantitative survey method. The population of the study was all vocational teachers in district Pakem totaling 117 respondents. This study took as many as 95 teachers as respondets with a proportional random sampling techniques. Collecting data was done using a questionnaire. Analysis of data normality,linearity and multicollinearity.The data analysis used multiple regression with three independent variables.The hypothesis testing used F-test or ANOVA at the same time,followed by hypothesis testing used individual partial test (t-test).Data Prossesing used SPSS Programme.The results showed that a.) There is a positive and significant influence of school leadership,teacher welfare and discipline work on teacher’s performance. This mean that there is an increase in teacher is performance which is determined by three factors, b.) there is a positive and significant influence of school leadership on teacher’s performance those for the better the principal’s leadership will better the performance of a teacher, c.) There is a significant positive influence on teacher’s performance there for the welfare of the teachers and the teacher will get better performance as well, d.) There is a positive and significant influence on the performance of work discilpine thus the higher the level of teacher discipline the better the performance.

Abstract

This research aims are (1) to describe whether there is work motivation influence, clinical supervision and the facility infrastructure toward teachers’ performance. (2) to describe whether there is work motivation influence toward teachers’ performance. (3) to describe whether there is clinical supervision influenceof toward teachers’ performance. (4) to describe whether there is facility infrastructure effect toward teacher performance.This research was conducted at three public senior high school (SMAN) in Nusaniwe District of Ambon City, the civil servant teachers as a population of 150 teachers. The sample of 150 teachers with taken by sampling technique of this research is saturated sampling.Research results show that: (1) there is positive and significant influence on work motivation, clinical supervision and facility infrastructure on teacher’s performance simultaneosly. Work motivation gives its significant contribution to the teacher’s performance the contribution is 5,2%, the contribution of facility infrastructure of 14.81% and the contribution of clinical supervision is 14,11%. (2) there is positive and significant influence between work motivation toward teachers’ performance. (3) there is positive and significant influence between clinical supervision toward teacher’s performance, (4) there is positive and significant influence between facility infrastructure toward teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe the implementation of inclusive school management in elementary school Muhammadiyah Mbayen, Kalasan, Sleman, which includes planning, implementation and evaluaton of 8 National Education Standards.This research used a qualitative approach, where the place of study was in elementary school Muhammadiyah Mbayen, Kalasan, Sleman regency. Researcher served as instrument in the research. Data sources of this study consisted of principal, teachers and school supertendent. Techniques of data collection used interview, observation, and documentation. Techniques of data collection in this research were done since the beginning of the study. The data were analyzed and set forth in meaningful word qualitatively. Test of the data validity used the test of data credibility that fulfils validity, reliability, and objectivity. In addition to using the increased persistence, authors used triangulation credibility test. Data validity checking techniques was using triangulation method to test the credibility of the data.The results of this study concluded that the public elementary school Muhammadiyah Mbayen in implementing management inclusive school has tried as far as possible 8 National Education Standards which include: content standards process standards, graduation standards, standards of teachers and education staff, facilities and infrastructure standards, management standards, financial standards and assessment standards, and regulation of national education minister (Permendiknas) Number 70 in 2009. The implementation of the management begins with plan that includes 8 standards. Implementation of its activities was also referring to the plans that have been made. It stands out from the implementation of the 8 standard is the standard process and standard financial. Monitoring and evaluation carried out by principals, but school supervisors also played an active role. In addition to the results of monitoring and evaluation were also reported to the relevant agencies. The results of the evaluation and monitoring were used as basis in determining the policies and subsequent plans either by the principal, superintendent, or by the related department.

Abstract

This research aimed at investigating academic culture management at Muhammadiyah Al-Mujahidin Elementary School in Wonosari which was realized, internalized, and actualized at Muhammadiyah Al-Mujahidin Elementary School in Wonosari.This research was a descriptive research which adopted a qualitative approach with a case study design.This research focused only on some phenomena which were deeply internalized and neglected some other phenomena. Research data were obtained by conducting direct observation and documentation study.The conclusions of the research were: 1) academic culture management at Muhammadiyah Al-Mujadidin Elementary School generally ran well which was proved from the academic achievements, 2) the function of academic culture planning ranged from intracurricular to extracurricular programmes in which academic culture was found, 3) organizing function consisted of scheduling and delegating jobs based on organization structure in order that organization ran effectively and efficiently, 4) executing function dealt with the execution of intracurricular and extracurricular activities either inside or outside school, 5) supervising, evaluating and controlling activities were conducted in order to guarantee a never-ending service quality, 6) academic culture management played an important role in enhancing academic achievement, 7) academic culture strategy eventually gave a real contribution to the academic achievement of the school.
