Abstract

This study aims to determine the management (planning, organizing, implementation and evaluation) character education in order to improve the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes at SMAN 2 Grabag Magelang regency This study is a qualitative study conducted in SMAN 2 Grabag Magelang regency. Data collection technique used observation, interview and document research. The subjects of the study was the principal, vice principal of curriculum affairs, vice principal Infrastructure affairs, student affairs vice principal, vice principal affairs public relations, Head of Administration, teachers and students. Data validation was done through the triangulation of data and triangulation techniques. The results of the research showed that: 1. Management of character education in conducted to improve the quality of teaching and learning outcomes; a. Planning is already well underway, proved all the activities have been programmed. b. Organizing is good, where the responcibility is in the hands of principals who assisted the vice principal of curriculum affairs, student affairs, business infrastructure, business public relations, and the Head of Administration, c. Implementation of character education goes well in accordance with the programmed, d. evaluations that are conducted there daily, weekly and semester. 2. Factors supporting character education management in order to improve the quality of teaching and learning outcomes include school programs, competent teachers, parents, and school infrastructure. 3. Factors inhibiting character education management in order to improve the quality of teaching and learning outcomes include some means are insufficient / no, the majority of parents were less supportive of the school program, as well as the majority of human resources (HR) is less supportive of the program habituation

Abstract

This study is a qualitative research . The research was conducted in primary schools with the aim Grabag 1 1. To describe the management development of physical education, sport and health are implemented in Elementary School District Grabag Grabag 1 2. To describe the role of sport and physical education and health to the achievement motivation of the teaching and learning in primary schools Grabag 1 District Grabag ? 3. Knowing the obstacles encountered in teaching physical education and sport in primary school health Grabag 1 ? 4. Knowing how to overcome the learning obstacles sports physical education and health in relation to motivation and student achievement in elementary school Grabag 1 ? The problem formulation in this study is : How can learning management of physical education , sport and health are implemented on motivation and learning achievement in primary schools Grabag 1 District Grabag ? 2. What is the role of physical exercise and health education on motivation and achievement of the teaching and learning in primary schools Grabag 1 Subdistrict Grabag1 ? 3. What are the obstacles encountered in teaching physical education and sport in primary school health grabag 1 ? 4. How to overcome learning obstacles sports physical education and health in relation to motivation and student achievement in elementary school Grabag 1 . The results showed that with good management proved that the Elementary School Negeri Grabag 1 may showed that there was a symbiosis mutualism between physical exercise and health education with other subjects . Research can showed that physical education and health sport by some parties only regarded as supplementary lessons that do not require special profesionalesme of teaching was not true . Sports physical education and health is one of the subjects which, if done by a professional teacher who was able to give a good contribution to spur students to excel in other subjects . With the reciprocal function can encourage learners to enhance in the field of academic and nonacademic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine education management review upon the effect of socioeconomic conditions of parents, parental supervision, and learning motivation toward students’ learning achievement in SMP Negeri 2 Sapuran, Wonosobo Regency and determnine the most influential variable on learning achievement. The population was the whole 114 pupils of SMP Negeri 2 Sapuran, all of them as the samples. Data were collected using a questionnaire which was answered directly by the students and the score of the final year test. The data gathered from the questionnaires were analyzed statistically by multiple regression techniques using SPSS. Descriptive percentage of the results showed the majority of respondents stated that the variable of socio-economic conditions of parents and parental attention, were categorized as low, while for the variables of learning motivation were categorized as enough. Then the independent variables such as socio-economic conditions of parents, parental supervision and motivation to learn altogether gained positive score and significant effect on mathematics learning achievement. Partial calculation proved that socio-economic conditions of parents has significant and positive effect on mathematics learning achievement, parental supervision is also shown to has significant and positive effect on mathematics learning achievement, while the results of analysis showed that learning motivation also has significant and positive effect on mathematics learning achievement. This suggests that if the socio-economic conditions of parents, parental supervision, and motivation to learn increases, the mathematics learning achievement will also increase.

Abstract

The aim of this study were: (1) To determine the influence of organizational culture, job satisfaction and competence together on employee performance AAU Yogyakarta in 2014; (2) To determine the influence of organizational culture on employee performance AAU Yogyakarta in 2014; (3) To determine the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance AAU Yogyakarta in 2014; (4) To determine the effect on the performance of employee competence AAU Yogyakarta in 2014; and (5) To determine the performance of civil servants and employees AAU Yogyakarta Yogyakarta AAU members of the military in 2014. Research conducted at the AAU Yogyakarta on July 1 until August 1, 2014. The variables in this study are organizational culture, job satisfaction, competence and performance of employees. The population in this study were all employees of Employees AAU Yogyakarta totaling 538 people. The amount of sample is 208 people, with details of 104 military personnel and 104 civil servants. The sampling technique used is random sampling. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires. The analysis used is multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of the study concluded that: 1) organizational culture, job satisfaction and competence positive and significant impact on employee performance AAU Yogyakarta in 2014 amounted to 37.58%; thus the better the organizational culture, job satisfaction and competence of the employee's performance is increasing AAU Yogyakarta. (2) Organizational culture positive and significant impact on employee performance AAU Yogyakarta in 2014 amounted to 8.26%; thus the better the culture of the organization, the AAU Yogyakarta employee performance will increase. (3) Job satisfaction and significant positive effect on employee performance AAU Yogyakarta in 2014 amounted to 15.96%; thus the better the job satisfaction of the employee's performance will increase AAU Yogyakarta. (4) Competence positive and significant impact on employee performance AAU Yogyakarta in 2014 amounted to 13.35%; thus the better the competence of the employee's performance is increasing AAU Yogyakarta. (5) There is a significant difference in the performance of civil servants AAU Yogyakarta (70.62) and TNI members AAU Yogyakarta (66.86) in 2014. Thus, the performance of civil servants AAU Yogyakarta higher than the performance of military members AAU Yogyakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to explain the implementation of clinical supervision by a supervisor. Planning, implementing, and evaluating for subject teachers that be tested in the national examination in SMP Bantul Subdistrict, Bantul Regency. The clinical supervision can improve the capability of work for subject teachers that be tested in the national examination in Bantul Subdistrict, Bantul Regency. This research is a kind of qualitative descriptive research. It is located in SMP in Bantul Subdistrict, Bantul Regency. The data are obtained from two resources . they are in the field and documents. The result of this research show of clinical supervision, it can improve the capability of work for subject teachers that be tested in the national examination for SMP degree in Bantul subdistrict, Bantul Regency. It can be knew from (1) the implementation for clinical supervision in SMPN Bantul Subdistrict, Bantul Regency had been suitable for the procedure planning, implementing, and evaluation phases, (2)The implementation of clinical supervision has a role in learning process, in fact the teachers have been able to make or arrange a lesson plan, to use and benefit the learning media, etc, (3) there are some obstacles with related by implementing clinical supervision.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) Manajemen pendidikan karakter yang mencakup perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi sebagai upaya meningkatkan presatasi siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Srandakan, (2) faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan manajemen pendidikan karakter sebagai upaya meningkatkan prestasi siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Srandakan, dan (3) Prestasi siswa setelah diterapkan manajemen karakter. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Srandakan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Metode penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Sumber data penelitian meliputi pengawas, kepala sekolah, guru, komite, pengawas sekolah, dan para siswa SMP Negeri 1 Srandakan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskritif kualitatif dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penyimpulan data.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pendidikan karakter di SMP 1 Srandakan ditinjau dari dimensi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan belum berjalan secara optimal. Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di SMP 1 Srandakan adalah: a) adanya pendampingan dari tim Pusat Kurikulum (Puskur), b) menjadi piloting sekolah karakter, dan c) adanya dukungan Komite Sekolah. Adapun faktor penghambat pelaksanaan pendidkan karakter di SMP 1 Srandakan adalah: a) pendidikan karakter melibatkan banyak elemen, b) masyarakat belum mengerti tentang pendidikan karakter, c) media massa yang tidak menampilkan program edukatif, dan d) sebagian besar guru belum melakukan evaluasi terhadap karakter siswa. Prestasi siswa SMP 1 Srandakan ditinjau dari hasil Ujian Nasional dalam tiga tahun terakhir mengalami penurunan.

Abstract

The Influence of Creativity Development, Effort Motivation and Environmental Condition to the Increase in income of PKH Program Participant Alumni Held by Yogyakarta Special Region Education, Youth and Sport Office 2011. Thesis. Yogyakarta: Postgraduate Program, Education Management Study Program, Yogyakarta Taman Siswa University, 2013. The research is aimed at studying the influence of creativity development, effort motivation and environmental condition to the increase in income of PKH participants alumni held by Yogyakarta Special Region Education, Youth and Sport Office 2011. This was a influence study employing a quantitative approach, with 510 populations of PKH participant alumni, spread to 25 institutions as the block-grant beneficence of the Yogyakarta Special Region Education, Youth and Sport Office 2011. The research covered 163 alumni samples spread to 15 institutions for the research feasibility based on Harry King nomogram calculation with 5% error while 208 failed to reach, using Proportionate Random Sampling technique and questionnaire data collection. The questionnaire was tested on 30 respondents out of the samples through the validity and reliability tests. Data analysis utilized double correlation and partial correlation techniques, with SPSS version 16 data processor. The descriptive analysis reveals that variables of creativity development, effort motivation and environmental condition to the increase in income of PKH participant alumni held by Yogyakarta Special Region Education, Youth and Sport Office 2011 indicate 0.559 so then moderate category, proven by the score between 0.40 – 0.599. Thus, the study shows the positive and significant simultaneous effect among creativity development, effort motivation and environmental condition to the increase in income of PKH participants alumni held by Yogyakarta Special Region Education, Youth and Sport Office 2011. Meanwhile, the variable of creativity development is the dominant factor, for it has the greatest effective and relative contribution among the other variables. Effective contribution sequentially from the greatest is creativity development based on the participant basic skills, environmental condition and effort motivation.
