Abstract

This paper introduces a three-phase unbalanced load condition monitoring system in a power distribution network that can monitor and provide early warning. The distribution system is a component of the power system that must always be observed in maintaining the service of delivering electricity to customers. Currently, many technologies are applied to the distribution system that can ensure the operation of the distribution network, especially distribution transformers to determine real-time transformer conditions so that damage and power losses can be minimized, but do not provide early detection. Therefore, the role of information technology is currently one of the investments that must be made for all electric power supply operators in maintaining the performance of distribution transformers through early detection. In this study, the system developed based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology that was built consists of: embedded system devices that function to carry out measurements and transmit data, Web Service software that functions to receive data from sensor systems, and Arduino-based software using the Blynk Cloud application platform in presenting data and managing data through Android display devices (HP/Laptop). The Blynk is a compatible platform for applications on Mobile OS (iOS and Android) in controlling Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or ESP8266-based modules, as well as similar modules via the Internet (IoT). This system was built to provide an early warning function against network parameter anomalies such as overload, overvoltage, and unbalanced load. After getting the data, the system will perform calculations to obtain recommendations for system optimization in the form of balancing, maintenance, or load maneuver. Based on testing, the time needed to send and receive notifications on smartphone users via the blynk application ranges from 3-4 seconds. By setting a tolerance limit of 20%, when the load is severely unbalanced where the neutral current is almost equal to or greater than the phase current, the local indicator light will light up and the Android system will provide an unbalanced load indicator.

Abstract

Electrical energy is a basic need of the community and supports aspects of national life and development, including improving living standards. Indonesia actually has the potential for new renewable energy sources in large quantities. Ocean current energy is one of the renewable energy whose existence is continuous and environmentally friendly. One of the potential energy of ocean currents is in the Botang Lomang District Area. This study aims to determine the amount of power generated from the potential of ocean currents. The minimum average speed at a depth of 10 meters is (0.21 m/s) and the maximum is (1.26 m/s). And the minimum average speed at a depth of 20 meters is (0.28 m/s) and maximum (1.67 m/s). The power obtained from the minimum and maximum ocean current speeds at a depth of 10 meters is 252 Watts to 54.654 kW. While the power obtained from the minimum and maximum sea current speeds at a depth of 20 meters is 599 Watts to 127,252 kW.

Abstract

Paraphrase plagiarism occurs when text is deliberately obfuscated to evade detection, deliberate alteration increases the complexity of plagiarism and the difficulty in detecting paraphrase plagiarism., Plagiarism systems play an important role in educational and research institutions.  In the field of education, the use of these systems has increased in universities to help researchers select new research, which is why it has been important to ensure that universities have effective citation screening systems.  Different metrics were used to evaluate the performance of these systems.  All of these metrics affect the performance and usability of the impersonation system.  This paper present a systematic literature review (SLR) to obtain an overview of the existing studies of distinct criteria for evaluating the performance of textual plagiarism systems and each criterion is briefly explained to give the basic idea behind it.  Overall, the aim of this paper is to provide a modern introduction and short review of these criteria.  A systematic literature review is performed according to the guidelines for conducting SLR in software engineering.  The study relied on a comprehensive set of research papers collected from electronic libraries published during a time period from 2013 to 2023. The results of this SLR include information about metrics for evaluating the performance of plagiarism systems according to previous research.  During a specific period it can assist researchers in this field by providing an overview of current researches in this field.  Moreover, it may serve as a first step towards a great SLR-assisted explanation of the subject.

Abstract

In terms of communication skills, many of us have limitations and shortcomings or what we are more familiar with is speech impairment Speaking is the ability to pronounce articulated sounds or words to express, express and convey thoughts, ideas and feelings. Communication skills can include many ways, including using verbal skills, namely verbally and non-verbally. In Indonesia, there are two sign languages used, namely Indonesian sign language (BISINDO) and Indonesian sign system (SIBI). BISINDO is a sign language that appears naturally in Indonesian culture and is practical for use in everyday life so that BISINDO has several variations in each region. The flex sensor has a thin and densely curved shape so that the flex sensor can be used as a motion detection and finger curve. Flex sensor application for human movement detection, patient monitoring. Therefore, hand-to-letter/text sign language translators using flexible sensors is a very important problem today. The method carried out is system design using tools and components used in research. This tool using the working principle in this system is to translate the sign language of alphabetic letters using flexible sensors. Design sign language translation of alphabetic letters using flexible sensors. The test to display the letters of the alphabet A-Z has a total minimum and maximum resistance at a flexible session of 1000 ohms with a voltage of 5V each. The result of this data is that there is no error in the play because the range value does not violate each other with other range values

Abstract

Software Defined Networking (SDN) makes Internet network configuration easier by separating the control plane and data plane. The control plane on the controller has information on network devices in the data plane and centrally control these devices. One of the controllers in SDN being developed is the Open Network Operating System (ONOS). ONOS provides interfaces such as Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interface (API). The ONOS core REST API provides some information from the network connected to it, such as devices, statistics, and the information in JSON file. The primary objective of this study is to develop an interface that simplifies performance monitoring through graphical representation. This involves testing the visualization with various topologies and conducting a comparative analysis of the visualization results across these topologies. The creation of the interface entails presenting statistical data, available in the form of a JSON file from the ONOS controller via the REST API, on the web interface in graphical format. The resulting visualization generates a graph that aligns with the performance characteristics of each topology, reflecting device details, ports, and additional parameters such as the count of sent and received packets, as well as sent and received bytes. The performance visualization outcomes specific to each topology are consistent with the number of connections and are prominently displayed on the web interface. Additionally, this research evaluates network throughput and bandwidth by sending ICMP packet and iperf tests across each topology. Among all the openflow tests performed on various network topologies, it was observed that the tree topology exhibited the lowest network capacity utilization, followed by the leaf-spine topology, and finally the ring topology.
