Ra’ah Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing scholarly discourse in the fields of social and religious studies. The journal situates its intellectual contribution within interdisciplinary and contextual frameworks, with particular emphasis on Christian leadership, Pastoral Theology, Missiology, Christian Psychology, and congregational empowerment in contemporary society. The journal promotes rigorous academic inquiry that engages theological reflection with empirical social realities. It welcomes original research articles employing qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method approaches, as well as systematic and critical literature reviews that demonstrate conceptual clarity, methodological robustness, and theoretical contribution. Ra’ah Journal seeks to publish works that: • explore the dynamics of Christian leadership within ecclesial and societal contexts; • develop contextual and constructive approaches in Pastoral Theology and Missiology; • examine psychological dimensions of faith, spirituality, and Christian formation; • analyze models of congregational empowerment and community transformation; • integrate interdisciplinary perspectives in addressing contemporary social and religious issues. Abstract

This article aims to provide assistance to PAUD teachers in making and using educational game tools for early childhood. This research began with observations of PAUD schools in Cihanjawar Village, Bojong District. The problems found in this study are the lack of availability of educational game tools in PAUD institutions and the teacher’s lack of understanding regarding how to use and apply them to learning activities. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out training and assistance regarding how to make and use educational game tools for PAUD teachers in Cihanjawar Village. The type of research used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) with presentation, demonstration, and direct practice methods. This research is expected to broaden knowledge and understanding of the importance of APE for early childhood and improve the skills of PAUD teachers in making APE from simple materials in the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Academic resilience is the strength and toughness within an individual to recover from negative emotional experiences. One of the factors of external academic resilience is the functioning of the family to be able to strengthen the academic resilience of final year students to be able to survive the circumstances or situations in completing their final assignments. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of family functioning on the academic resilience of final year students of the Pastoral Counseling study program at the Kupang State Christian Institute. The research data collection tool uses a family functioning scale and an academic resilience scale. The subjects of this research were 60 students in the pastoral counseling study program who were completing their final assignments. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression analysis. The results of this research prove that family functioning has a positive and significant effect on academic resilience by 53.8%. The higher the role of family functioning, the greater the student's academic resilience in completing the final assignment.

Abstract

Pendampingan remaja merupakan suatu usaha dalam membentuk remaja menjadi warga gereja yang baik dan menghadapi permasalahan sosial yang terjadi di masyarakat. Dampak yang diharapkan dari pendampingan remaja adalah remaja dapat bertumbuh dan mengembangkan nilai-nilai Kristiani sehingga menghasilkan buah yang diinginkan Kristus. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pelayanan pendampingan kepada remaja usia 18-21 di Gereja Bethel Indonesia Sepat Kalimantan Barat dan mendeskripsikan signifikansi pelayanan pendampingannya supaya dapat memberikan kontribusi kepada gereja tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan pendampingan dapat dilakukan melalui pengajaran Firman Tuhan dan motivasi yang mengarahkan pada perubahan karaktek, pemulihan relasi antara remaja dengan Tuhan, sesame dan diri sendiri.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi dalam konteks keagamaan, khususnya penggunaan gadget dalam kedisiplinan beribadah, telah menjadi topik yang semakinrelevan. Tulisan ini menyajikan pandangan gereja terhadap fenomena ini, mempertimbangkan berbagai aspek seperti peran gadget dalam memfasilitasi akses ke sumber-sumber keagamaan, potensi gangguan terhadap konsentrasi dan kesakralan ibadah, serta tanggung jawab individu dalam mengatur penggunaan teknologi dalam konteks keagamaan. Gereja mengakui manfaat teknologi dalam memperluas jangkauan pesan keagamaan tetapi juga perlu menekankan pentingnya mempertahankan kualitas dan kekhususan pengalaman beribadah yang sebenaranya. Oleh karena itu, gereja mendorong jemaatnya untuk menggunakan gadget dengan bijak, memastikan bahwa penggunaan teknologi tidak mengganggu fokus dan kualitas ibadah, melainkan menguatkan hubungan pribadi dengan Tuhan dengan tetap menjaga kedisiplinan dalam beribadah. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan literatus dari buku-buku dan jurnal yang relevan dengan pendangan gereja terhadap penggunaan gadget dalam kedisiplinan beribadah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gadget berperan penting bagi manusia sehingga sikap yang hars ditekankan adalah kebijaksanaan atau berhikmaan dalam menggunakan ponsel pintar tersebut. Jika tidak demikian akan berdampak pada ketidakdisiplinan dalam beribadah oleh karena fokus yang tak bisa diatur dengan baik.

Abstract

This research is a preliminary study to evaluate and assess the impact of dream experiences on the community of Kupang city. The approach employed was quantitative with a survey method. The data collecting technique was closed questionnaires disseminated online. The respondents selected by simple random sampling in this online poll comprised 107 persons. The technique utilized to test the research data was univariate analysis with the assistance of SPSS for Windows version 25.0. The calculation results show a mean value of 42.96 and a standard deviation of 8.803. This data was analyzed based on the assessment guideline criteria, establishing that dreams have a high to very high impact, with 61.7% of respondents rating dreams as having a major to very significant impact on their lives. Thus, this work has to be examined further both conceptually and empirically with additional in-depth follow-up studies to investigate the significance of impactful dreams encountered by the research sample. This study serves as a core reference for investigating the subject of significant dreams, particularly from the perspective of Christian theology, which is rarely studied.
