Abstract

This research aims to build a Personnel Information System for the Marine and Fisheries Office of Parigi Moutong Regency which will facilitate the management of employee data. The types and sources of data needed in this study are primary data and secondary data. The subjects of the study are Mahriadi (Head of Program Planning, General and Personnel Subdivision), Mashening L, S.Pi (Head of P2TPI) and Iklam, S.Pi (P2TPI Staff). Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and literature. The analysis method uses a comparative method, which is a type of research that is built on two different things. The research method used is engineering research with an emphasis on software engineering using the prototype paradigm. The programming language uses PHP 5 and the database uses MySQL. The results of the research in the form of the Personnel Information System of the Marine and Fisheries Office of Parigi Moutong Regency have been completed and have been tested by the admin and can provide convenience in managing employee data efficiently. The Personnel Information System of the Marine and Fisheries Office of Parigi Moutong Regency provides access to admins and employees. Information Systems Testing uses a black box method that focuses on the functional needs of the software. The process of implementing this information system can only be accessed offline through localhost.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research. This research aims to make it easier for school operators to improve the security of computer network systems. The data of this research was obtained from primary data or data on the implementation of security policies on computer networks connected to the internet and secondary data or data about the research object obtained from the SMA Negeri 1 Una-una school. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques are obtained from observations, interviews, literature, documentation. The results of this study show that this study found that one computer network connected to the internet does not have a computer network security policy. The security policy application is called Security Policy with the aim of making it easier for school operators to improve the security of computer network systems connected to the internet effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The development of increasingly advanced technology encourages the birth of innovations to make human work easier, one of which is in the field of agriculture. Manual watering of plants is considered inefficient because it takes time, effort, and often does not meet the water needs of plants. This research aims to design and implement an automatic plant watering system based on the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller by utilizing a soil moisture sensor (Soil Moisture Sensor) as a moisture condition detector. If the soil moisture is below the threshold, the microcontroller will activate the relay to turn on the water pump automatically, while if the soil is still moist the pump will stop working. This study uses a prototyping method with black-box testing. The research data was obtained through observation at the IP2TP Plant Hatchery Center in Sigi Regency, interviews with employees, and literature studies from related literature. The results of the study show that the system is able to function as designed, namely reading the soil moisture conditions in real-time, controlling the water pump, and displaying the status on the LCD. Thus, this system is proven to help farmers in improving the time efficiency and effectiveness of watering crops.

Abstract

Waste management at the East Besusu Village Office, East Palu District has not met the standards in an orderly manner, where waste data management still uses a manual method, namely written in a ledger or agenda book. Officers must manually record every transaction, such as customer registration, incoming goods and recording savings details. The goal to be achieved in this study is to create a Waste Management Information System at the East Besusu Output Office to help the management process contained in the waste bank to be more effective. The types and sources of data needed in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and literature. The development of the system uses prototypes. The programming language uses PHP and the database uses MySQL. And the results of the research, namely the Waste Management Information System at the East Besusu Village Office have been completed and can be used to manage waste bank data effectively. The testing process uses the black box method that focuses on the requirements or functional needs of the software being created.

Abstract

The majors will be adjusted to the student's academic abilities and interests. The purpose of this major is so that students can be directed in receiving lessons that are in accordance with the abilities and talents possessed by students. This department is held to select and collect the same ability of students to take the same educational program as well. In the Decision Support System, the selection of majors is based on students' interests in SMK Negeri 5 Palu. The criteria to be used are: the value of Indonesian Language, English, Science and Mathematics subjects.  The purpose of this research is to make it easier for SMK Negeri 5 Palu to determine students who are accepted into each department based on the results of recommendations from the decision support system. The method used is Weighted product. The research conducted in this case is Qualitative research. The types of data used in this study are divided into 2 (two), namely primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques include: observation, interviews and literature. The development of the system uses prototypes. The programming language used is PHP, the database uses MySQL and the editor uses sublime text. The results of the study are a decision support system that applies calculations with the Weighted Product method can produce recommendations for choosing majors to prospective new students of SMK Negeri 5 Palu so that schools can use predetermined criteria to determine who is entitled to enter the chosen major. The processing of questionnaire data obtained a percentage of 24.20% from respondents, the low percentage obtained was due to the lack of information known to new students about the existence of a Supporting Information System for Major Election Decisions at SMK Negeri 5 Palu.
