Abstract

Karang Ranjang resort is a part of Ujung Kulon National Park at Banten Province. Ithas two type ecosystem of forest. The coastal forest ecosystem are dominated byPandanaceae Plant and the lowland forest ecosystem is dominated by Arecaceae.Floor of the lowland forest always covered by sea water when flooding.The first bryophyte research in this park was been done by surrounding methodeand it recorded 50 specimen numbers of mosses. The identification result of the48 speciment numbers found 33 species. Mniomalia semilimbata is dominant specieson the research areas. Two species of the mosses have endemic status, Fissidensteysmanianum as endemic species in Java and Calymperes cougiense foundabundant in the Malesia region and endemic in Polynesia

Abstract

Industri semen merupakan salah satu industri yang digolongkan sebagai industriyang boros mengkonsumsi energi, karena dalam proses produksi mengkonsumsienergi cukup besar setara dengan 25 s/d 35 % dari biaya total produksi. Sejalandengan semakin berkurangnya cadangan bahan bakar fosil yang tidak dapatdiperbaharui (non-renewable energy), penghematan energi melalui efisiensipenggunaan energi pada proses produksi menjadi suatu keharusan yang tidak dapatdihindari.Dalam penelitian sebelumnya[1], Penulis telah melakukan Feasibility Studyterhadap pemasangan VSD di Fan, yang menunjukkan kemungkinan penghematanenergi yang cukup besar. Dalam penelitian ini, unjuk kerja dilapangan secara nyatatelah didapatkan bahwa pemasangan inverter atau VSD’S pada Fan yang digunakandidalam proses produksi Industri Semen, mampu menghemat penggunaan energisebesar 499,0464 MWH pertahun, dan nilai ini setara dengan penurunan emisi gasCO2 sebesar 361.309,594 Ton CO2/Tahun.

Abstract

The development of urban and sub urban of Jakarta has influenced Ciliwung riverbank, which finally damaged environment. Lacal government ‘Kabupaten Bogor’has made RUTRW (Rencana Umum Tata Ruang Wilayah), general plan for regionaluse space to control the development and to avoid more damaged environment.However, there are many divergences occur in the land use. Observation to currentarea of the river in the Ciliwung in the middle area was hopping can give somesuggestion to government for more aware and keep environment away from moredamaged.

Abstract

Increasing mining activities in several regions in Indonesia, began to faceproblems, namely of environmental pollution. One of the mining waste that is liquidsulfur, or acid mine water, which can lower the pH of the water and dissolves heavymetals. Countermeasures for the chemical method is to use lime, but this is lesseffective. The method is good and is environmentally friendly way by using biologicalbacteria sulphate reduction bacteria (SRB) that naturally there are many in thesediment wetland. Goal of this research is to find the type of sediment wetland mosteffectively increase the pH and decrease the concentration of sulphate in acid minewater. The sediment wetland is used mangroves, swamp, rice fields, and beaches.Treatment bioreaktor made on the filled with sediment underneath the compost isgiven further incubation for 50 days. The observation of pH and content of sulphatebased on the value of OD spektrofotometer and known pH increased to the highestin the pH of 7.3 is in the swamp sediment treatment, while the only other treatmentuntil the pH 6-6,7. Increasing the pH in accordance with the decrease in the rate ofSO4 is most sharply in the swamp sediment treatment as well as the most effectivetreatment.
