Abstract

The Study Program of Landscaping and Gardening (Program Studi Lanskap dan Pertamanan (LDP)), one of the study programs at SMKN 63 Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, needs guidance related to learning materials of landscape design. The purpose of providing landscape design materials for school members (teachers and students) is to increase the knowledge and skills of making landscape designs and optimize the function and beauty of the school's out space. It supports the behavior of the environmental awareness that the Adiwiyata program promotes. Community service activities in the form of socialization and training so that school members can design the landscape independently and distribute questionnaires to measure the level of achievement of the socialization and training were carried out. The case area to be designed is a corner garden in the front yard of SMKN 63. The activity results show that the participants' perceptions fall into the category of agreeing to strongly agree on the value of the benefits of the service material. Participants were very enthusiastic and active. Creativity and design making still need guidance. Evaluation in the following month shows the follow-up of the resulting design. This enthusiasm led to a cooperation agreement between SMKN 63 and a community service team from the Landscape Architecture Department, Faculty of Laskap Architecture and Environmental Technology, Trisakti University to foster school residents sustainably.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In DKI Jakarta, the quantity and quality of public parks need to be increased since they are not well cared of as most public spaces which resulted in the absence of visitors. Hypotheses arise that this condition may be related to inaccurate public park management. This paper is an attempt to acquire a conceptual framework related to competency requirements needed in designing public parks that focus on Soft System Methodology and Resource Management. This is a literature study coupled with interviews with those who are involved in the provision and use of public parks. Through Delphi's analysis, it reveales that a successful design of public park entails non-technical competency requirements related to "building relationships" involved with all parties integrated. Abstract

To achieve the target of 30% of the total area's green space area, causing Jakarta and other big cities to make efforts to accelerate the provision of green space. Efforts to provide and manage it did not go as expected. The problem lies in the planning, implementation, utilization, and control relating to institutions, financing, and community participation. That causes the management of Green Open Space (GOS) is not running effectively and efficiently. The main problem is the unavailability of clear guidelines on implementing green space management and ineffective phasing related to the determination of terms of reference with budget constraints. Based on previous research, the concept of sustainable landscape design in harmony with sustainable development is the right way to solve this problem. This study aims to discuss how the concept of sustainable landscape design can be bundled by governance involved in managing green space using action research based on soft systems methodology. It will provide a conceptual model of packaging efforts so that it becomes a reference in various actions to provide and manage green space to achieve effective and efficient GOS management.

Abstract

Ciangsana Village, Gunung Putri sub-district, Bogor district has carried out independent waste management. There are two waste banks there, the Cantik waste banks in RW 20 and the Cinta Waste Bank in RW 21. This waste bank has also spurred local communities to process organic kitchen waste independently, but the processing results in the form of compost require more use. Continue to maintain its sustainability, especially in RW 20. The Community Service Program (PkM) majoring in Landscape Architecture coordinate and consult to create a living apothecary design model on the land around Bank Cantik and explain making it and structuring it into a park in activities counseling. The benefits felt from this PKM activity can be seen based on a questionnaire distributed to PKM participants: representatives of the Waste Bank management, PKK women, and RW management (RW heads and secretaries). The results of this PkM show that of all the participants' statements, 96% described that modeling was beneficial for the participants. Still, one participant did not need assistance in applying the design model in the field.

Abstract

Community Service (PkM) aims to provide understanding to the community in the Depok area, which has been affected by the Hepatitis A pandemic outbreak, regarding the importance of maintaining the distance between septic tanks and drilled wells in order to prevent diseases caused by contaminated water. The method used is to provide socialization of the Minister of Health Regulation no. 3 of 2014 and SNI 2398:2017 to PKK women, cadres, in Gandul Village, Cinere Depok District, regarding septic tanks, manufacturing requirements and their distance to clean water sources. Based on the pre and post tests carried out, it showed that all PkM participants already understood the importance of the requirements for making speptic tanks and setting the distance between the septic tank and clean water wells. However, to apply in the field still requires assistance. The implications of this PkM provide an opportunity for extension workers to research further about groundwater conditions in Gandul Village in order to provide solutions for the community to anticipate the presence of existing fecal waste so as not to pollute the existing ground water

Abstract

A garden is an outdoor relaxation area, set aside for the display of plants and other natural habitats solitary to human life. However, due to the reduced open space in urban areas, turning parks into gardens has become common. Therefore, a roof garden is an attractive option because it is private, and accessible to only certain people. Presently, the Study Program Landscape Architecture Universitas Trisakti, Jakarta, Indonesia, has a roof garden used to support certain subjects' practical activities.  However, the concept of a green pattern applied to the roof garden of this institution is not optimal. Therefore, this study aims to determine the design principles that have not been maximized in the roof garden of Study Program Landscape Architecture due to inaccuracy in the arrangement of the green pattern. This is descriptive research intended to describe and examine the characteristics, relationships, similarities, and differences of green patterns in the roof garden with other phenomena.

Abstract

The Tebet city forest, located in the Tebet Barat Village, South Jakarta, is a green open space and is one of the urban forests in the city of Jakarta. The Tebet City Forest as a means of recreation and education is still not functioning correctly, so it is necessary to evaluate the existing facilities in the Tebet City Forest to realize educational tourism. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the state of the facilities in the Tebet City Forest, to provide alternative educational facilities that are suitable to be placed in the Tebet City Forest and to realize a landscape design that makes the Tebet City Forest an urban forest that facilitates educational tourism. This research uses a descriptive-analytical method. Through this method, researchers collect data through primary data and secondary data. The variables of the Tebet urban forest are cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The results of this study indicate that facilities that can increase knowledge can be in the form of adding Indonesian plants, adding boards containing local names, Latin names, families, origins, and benefits for each tree, and providing community reading garden facilities. Facilities for protecting the environment include trash bins and signs for protecting the environment at every point of activity. Bus stops encourage people to use public transportation, provide bicycle rental and bicycle parking spaces, and provide open lawns and amphitheaters that can be used for various educational activities. Facilities that accommodate physical/physical activities include a children's playground, outdoor fitness, jogging track, multifunctional field, multifunctional plaza, amphitheater, and reflection area. It is necessary to develop and provide facilities that can support educational tourism.
