Abstract

The development of the digital era has created a new ecosystem for the dissemination of Islamic values through various platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and dakwah podcasts. The presence of Islamic content in digital formats not only serves as a medium for conveying religious teachings but also functions as a space for spiritual reflection that can influence the development of character, mindset, and religious behavior within society. This study aims to deeply analyze how the appeal of Islamic content in the digital era can shape the hearts and minds of its viewers. The method used is qualitative through a literature review, examining various sources related to dakwah communication, media psychology, digital religiosity, and Islamic education,The results of the analysis indicate that the appeal of Islamic content is significantly influenced by several key factors. First, the strength of the message, which is able to touch both emotional and rational aspects in a balanced manner, makes the content easier to accept and comprehend. Second, the authenticity and credibility of the content creators, both in terms of knowledge and exemplary behavior, enhance the audience’s trust and psychological closeness. Third, aesthetic elements such as visual design, sound quality, narration, and storytelling help create a deeper and more meaningful viewing experience. Fourth, the relevance of the themes to everyday life challenges—especially those related to morality, religious identity, and modern social dynamics—makes Islamic content more contextual and applicable, This study affirms that Islamic content in the digital era plays an essential role in strengthening Islamic values, enhancing religious awareness, and encouraging positive behavioral changes within society. By employing creative, interactive, and humanistic communication approaches, Islamic content has the potential to become an effective medium for spiritual transformation amid the rapid flow of digital information.

Abstract

In the context of cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity in Indonesia, multicultural da'wah plays an important role in building social harmony and strengthening community cohesion. However, this diversity also poses challenges in the form of conflicts that can hinder the effectiveness of the dissemination of religious messages. This study aims to examine the role of conflict management in increasing the effectiveness of multicultural da'wah in Indonesia through a mixed methods approach, which combines qualitative and quantitative analysis. Data was collected from 150 respondents, including dai, religious leaders, and da'wah institution managers, through in-depth interviews, field observations, and structured questionnaires. The results of the study showed a significant positive relationship between adaptive and collaborative conflict management strategies and the effectiveness of multicultural da'wah. Strategies such as inclusive dialogue, strengthening tolerance, and the use of cultural and religious mediators have proven effective in reducing conflict and promoting social harmony. These findings support the development of contextual local values-based conflict management models, which can serve as a guide for da'wah practitioners and managers in designing inclusive and effective strategies in Indonesia's multicultural society.

Abstract

Modernity, along with its social, economic, and technological changes, has brought about significant transformations in people's lifestyles, including in the spiritual and social dimensions. This phenomenon often fosters tendencies toward individualism and materialism, and erodes existing social relationships. In this situation, the Sufi order, as part of the Islamic Sufi heritage, plays a crucial role in maintaining the balance between the spiritual and social aspects of human life. This article aims to analyze how the values of the Qadariyah Naqsabandiyah (TQN) Order are implemented in social interactions in modern society. This research employs a qualitative approach through a literature review method that focuses on classical Sufi literature as well as more recent academic studies. The findings of the study indicate that the core values of TQN, such as dhikr (remembrance of God), sincerity, simplicity, spiritual discipline, and social solidarity, not only serve as tools for purifying the soul but also play a role in creating social piety, strengthening community cohesion, and developing social ethics amidst the challenges of the modern era. Thus, the Qadariyah Naqsabandiyah Order remains relevant as an Islamic spiritual model that is able to adapt to changing times.

Abstract

The transformation of digital technology has brought significant changes in the way religious communication takes place in society. The development of social media, video platforms, and various communication apps has created new spaces for spreading religious messages while also changing the relationship between religious leaders and their audience. These changes present various opportunities to expand the reach of religious communication, but they also bring challenges related to the authority and credibility of religious leaders in the digital space. This study aims to analyze the opportunities arising from the transformation of religious communication in the digital era, identify the challenges faced by religious leaders in maintaining their credibility, and formulate strategies to strengthen that credibility. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study method. The research shows that the transformation of religious communication opens up opportunities, such as expanding the reach of preaching, forming virtual religious communities, and strengthening more participatory religious interactions. However, religious leaders face challenges like the democratization of religious authority, digital misinformation, and demands for public authenticity. Therefore, strengthening digital literacy, transparent communication, and cross-disciplinary collaboration are important strategies to maintain the credibility of religious leaders in the digital era.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly altered patterns of religious communication, particularly regarding the practice of Islamic dakwah (preaching). Dakwah previously conducted through conventional means such as mosque pulpits and religious study circles has now transformed into the digital realm via social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and podcasts. This article aims to analyze the transformation of digital dakwah and the methods of conveying Islamic teachings in the contemporary era. The study employs a library research method with a descriptive-qualitative approach. The findings indicate that digital dakwah is faster, interactive, and capable of reaching a global audience; however, it also presents challenges such as disinformation, the fragmentation of meaning, and a shift in religious authority from traditional scholars (ulama) to content creators. Consequently, there is a need for dakwah strategies grounded in digital literacy, Islamic communication ethics, and the reinforcement of credible scholarly authority.

Abstract

The low level of reading and writing literacy in Indonesia has driven the FLP Semar Branch at Nurul Islam Boarding School to revitalize its role in developing written da'wah. This study examines the revitalization strategies, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors, using a qualitative descriptive case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation and analyzed using the ADKAR theory. The findings reveal that revitalization efforts involve organizational evaluation, restructuring, member recruitment, literacy program development, and capacity building through publications and writing activities. Organizational strengthening is reflected in the achievements of its members, although challenges remain, such as time constraints, limited facilities, and fluctuating member enthusiasm. This study highlights the importance of sustainable strategies in promoting written da'wah literacy within the boarding school environment.
