Abstract

Security is an important aspect in digital data transmission, and steganography is one way for hiding a secret message in such a way so that others are not aware of the existence of something in the message. In this research, we built a digital steganography system using web-based with Adaptive Minimum - Error Least Significant Bit Replacement (AMELSBR) method. The media to hide the message is on the form of .jpg, the output is on the form of .png, and the message is on the form of .txt. The procedures for applying AMELSBR method are Capacity Evaluation, Minimum - Error Replacement and Error Diffusion. The result shows that the AMELSBR method is able to manage for hiding and restoring files without causing excessive distortion (noise) in stego image. The AMELSBR method has a possibility of returning most files to image manipulation such as the change of image Brightness and Contrast with the black color dominant (rgb(0,0,0)), white color dominant (rgb(255,255,255)).

Abstract

Markerless Augmented Reality (AR) is a term for an environment that combines real world and the virtual world, where objects in the real world can be recognized through the position, direction and location. Markerless AR technology can be used to interactively visualize information, especially when the technology is combined with a mobile communication device such as a smartphone that has the Android operating system. Camera features, internet, accelerometer, digital maps and GPS (Global Positioning System) on Android devices can be integrated so that AR technology can be implemented. In this study, Markerless AR technology is implemented in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science (Science) University of Lampung buildings. The aim of this study is to create an application that provides information about the buildings, it is show Faculty maps and information about the Natural Sciences accessible via Android smartphones. This application is designed and then implemented using the Java programming language for Android and BeyondAR framework support to detect and display the AR object and the Google Maps API to display a map of the Science Faculty. The results of data test using Equivalence Partitioning test shown the application functionate well according to the analysis. In addition, based on questionnaire data, that the application is a user friendly application (with an average value of 4.31 / very good), and interactive (with an average value of 4.23 / good).Keywords: Android, Application, ARMIPA, Augmented Reality, Maps, Markerless Augmented Reality

Abstract

Science is the study of nature and its surroundings, including the flora and fauna. Flora are plants that live in a particular habitat or area, while the fauna are animals that live in a particular habitat or area. At the elementary school level, students learn about the introduction of flora and fauna such as the characteristics, environmental habitat, breeding, and food type. During this time, elementary school students are introduced to flora and fauna only through book. In this research, the web-based bilingual teaching system of flora and fauna using Indonesian and English was developed for elementary school students. The system is built using waterfall methods with MySQL database and the PHP programming language. The system was created with the aim to help students get to know the flora and fauna in the surrounding environment and can increase the student’s knowledge of English.Keywords: fauna, flora, system.

Abstract

The national exam is a method of testing to education in Indonesia for determining students graduation in senior high school. The determine graduate base on the minimum value that must be obtained by students and established by the government. Students follow the simulated exam before faced the national exam for value of the capability test. The purpose in this research is develop a simulation system the national exam for senior high school students with a web-based, so it can be accessed online. In addition, the purpose in this research to build the another alternative in simulation exams except in the school. Development systems using the programming languagePHP and the MySQL database. The testing system indicates that the system can function properly when doing the process simulation test and get the results right after finish working on problems such as the simulation test. Keywords: National Exam, Simulation System, Web.

Abstract

Without no doubt, technology supports the human life and can be applied in many aspects, for example ineducation development. Learning process using computer as an aided tools are commonly used. The Applicationof Sequential Search Algorithm for The Searching Process of Information in The Learning System of Human’sHeart is an example of the application of computer in education that can be one of solution to help the learningprocess for teachers, lecturers, or students. In this research we use the sequential search algorithm searchingprocess in learning system of human’s heart which is one of the search methods to facilitate text searches of theinformation that required by the user. This system gives information about the material that is related to the heartorgan, i.e, heart anatomy, heart physiology, and heart pathology. The testing systems that used in this applicationis Black Box method. Black Box Testing is focuses on the functional requirements of the software. Black BoxTesting is used for testing the system in order to know if the system work well.Keyword: Black Box Testing; Heart; Sequential Search; Technology.

Abstract

Nowadays, companies both large and small have flocked to use the help of science and technology in support ofthe company's operational processes. In this study will be made of software for Service Information System Centreso it can easily run the application in a parking lot and can facilitate corporate leaders in monitoring the parkingreports results every time. The software is designed using Adobe Flash, and created with Visual Basicprogramming, Seagate cristal Report with the Microsoft Office Access database. Their software for the parkingsystem is expected to be better in terms of security, speed, and order at the time of parking in the parking area.Keywords: Information Systems, Visual Basic, Adobe Flash.
