Abstract

Technological developments and intense competition in the service and manufacturing sectors require efficient management, especially in dealing with rising shipping costs due to exchange rate fluctuations. Goods distribution problems, which involve constraints such as variations in demand and vehicle capacity, require the implementation of transportation methods to minimize costs. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of verbal abuse on college students' self- confidence. Verbal violence, which is often overlooked, can have a significant impact on individuals' psychological development and their social interactions. The research method used was quantitative with descriptive and correlational survey design, involving 25 student respondents. The results of the analysis showed a significant negative relationship between verbal abuse and the level of self-confidence, where the higher the level of verbal abuse experienced, the lower the students' self-confidence. The findings underscore the importance of interventions and support in educational settings to increase students' self-confidence and prevent the negative impact of verbal abuse

Abstract

This report discusses the phenomenon of online gambling among adolescents, which has grown rapidly due to technological advancements. The phenomenon is analyzed from various aspects, including the types of online gambling, the factors driving its increasing popularity, and the social, economic, and psychological impacts on adolescents. The report also evaluates government regulations and provides recommendations to minimize the negative impacts of this activity. The intervention was carried out using a group approach (mezzo), involving observation and interviews in the Jatiasih area. The results revealed that adolescents are drawn to online gambling due to its accessibility, promises of profit, and peer influence. The findings highlight patterns of addiction that lead to financial losses, stress, and social relationship damage. The mezzo technique proved effective in raising group awareness, despite initial resistance challenges. The report suggests an integrated approach involving families, educational institutions, and the government to create sustainable solutions

Abstract

This study explores the pressing issue of sexual harassment in Indonesia, with an emphasis on increasing awareness among university students through a psychoeducational intervention. The primary objective of the study was to educate students about the characteristics of sexual harassment and empower them with information on what steps to take if they become victims. The intervention included distributing informative posters and conducting sessions where respondents shared personal stories to foster empathy and understanding among peers. The sampling method focused on university students on campus, despite the constraints of their busy schedules, which made it difficult to collect respondents. Findings suggest that the psychoeducational approach was able to increase awareness and understanding of sexual harassment, with respondents expressing a greater willingness to support peers who may have been affected. Overall, this study highlights the importance of educational initiatives in combating sexual harassment and promoting a safer campus environment for all students

Abstract

The textile industry in Indonesia plays a crucial role in the economy; however, operational challenges such as demand fluctuations and resource limitations often hinder production efficiency. This study aims to optimize the production of woven fabrics in a textile company using Linear Programming (LP) methods, specifically the Simplex model, to maximize profit and allocate resources optimally. The study focuses on production capacity allocation issues, such as limited spindle and loom hours. By applying LP, the research hopes to find an efficient solution in managing the production of two types of fabrics, namely T/C and 100% Cotton, while considering raw material limitations and available machine hours. The study uses data from PT. Argo Pantes in Tangerang, which produces woven fabrics with diflerent profit margins/ Unit. In the Simplex method, slack variables are added to convert inequalities into equations, enabling the search for optimal solutions iteratively. The expected result of this research is to determine the most profitable production quantity by maximizing the use of available production capacity. Overall, the application of this model is expected to improve production efficiency and company profits, as well as contribute to the development of optimization techniques in the manufacturing sector, particularly in textiles

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the profit of homemade wet cake businesses using linear programming with the Simplex method. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia are rapidly growing, and in the food industry sector, SMEs face challenges in managing limited resources to maximize profits. A mathematical model using linear programming is designed to assist SMEs in determining efficient resource allocation strategies. This research identifies decision variables, raw material constraints, and production capacity to maximize profits using the Simplex method. The method is applied to wet cake businesses, considering the constraints related to raw materials and production capacity. The data obtained includes information about raw materials, selling prices, production costs, and available production capacity. The mathematical model is structured with an objective function to maximize profits and constraints related to raw material limitations and production capacity. The calculations using the Simplex method show the optimal solution for resource allocation, which can improve production efficiency and profit. Thus, linear programming with the Simplex method provides significant contributions to SMEs in managing resources efficiently and adaptively, potentially enhancing competitiveness in the competitive market. This research also opens up opportunities for the application of similar methods in other SME businesses within the food industry sector

Abstract

The spread of hoaxes in the digital era is a serious challenge that affects society, especially students as active users of social media. This study aims to improve the digital literacy of Bhayangkara University students in Greater Jakarta to prevent the negative impact of hoaxes. This social intervention program uses a psychoeducational method that includes counseling, interactive discussions, and evaluation using a questionnaire. The results showed that good digital literacy can help students recognize false information, verify the truth of information, and reduce the spread of hoaxes. This intervention has a positive impact on changing maladaptive behavior into adaptive. This study recommends a sustainable and more interactive digital literacy program to expand its positive impact in the community

Abstract

The phenomenon of queuing on public transport is a topic that often occurs in public service organizations. Since the implementation of the public transport program by the government, the amount of time required for service users to use public services tends to increase, which can have an impact on the satisfaction and safety of service users. One of the operations research techniques that analyzes queuing problems in production systems or service processes probabilistically is queuing theory. Queues tend to form in public facilities. One of them is the train queue at Bekasi Station. There is a queue between trains waiting to depart and trains departing for the station. This causes the arrival and departure of trains to be delayed from the predetermined schedule, thereby increasing the potential for train passengers. Queuing theory can be used to analyze queuing problems encountered at Bekasi station. Basically, queuing theory is used to determine queuing system parameters such as the average number of arrivals, and service time. These queuing parameters can be used to determine financially optimal system resources. The application of cue theory is growing along with the development of simulation methods and information systems, including system sensitivity analysis

Abstract

Education in Toraja reflects harmony between traditional cultural values and the modern education system. This combination allows strengthening cultural identity through the application of traditional values in formal learning. Traditional educational approaches rich in local wisdom can be integrated into the curriculum through contextual methods and holistic character education programs. By utilizing the strengths of these two approaches, the education system in Toraja has the potential to create a generation that is not only intellectually superior but also has wise morals and a strong cultural identity. This education is a means of transformation to produce a society that is relevant to the needs of the times without losing its cultural roots. The synergy between tradition and modernity makes education in Toraja an inspiring model in developing a meaningful and holistic education system for the future
