Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of ecotheological values in strengthening religious moderation based on Pancasila at MA Al-Manar Tengaran, Semarang Regency. Environmental crises and increasing socio-religious challenges require educational approaches that connect spirituality, nationalism, and ecological responsibility. This research employed a qualitative case study design with a socio-legal approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, focus group discussions, and document analysis of curriculum and school programs. The findings reveal that the integration of ecotheological values is implemented through curricular, pedagogical, cultural, collaborative, and digital literacy strategies. The concepts of khalifah (stewardship), amanah (trust), and mīzān (balance) are linked with the principles of religious moderation and the values of Pancasila in both classroom practices and school-based environmental activities. These strategies contribute to the development of religio-ecological awareness, tolerant attitudes, and social responsibility among students. However, challenges remain in terms of character assessment systems and teachers’ pedagogical capacity. The study concludes that integrating ecotheology into Pancasila-based religious moderation has strong potential as a character education model responsive to contemporary ecological and social crises.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila values and their contribution to strengthening the social and ideological resilience of students at MTs Al-Manar Tengaran, Semarang Regency, in the era of globalization. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis involving the principal, teachers, and students. The findings reveal that Pancasila values have been integrated into classroom learning processes, school culture, and co-curricular as well as extracurricular activities. The data indicate that 84% of students demonstrate strong tolerance attitudes, 88% actively participate in mutual cooperation activities, and 85% express pride in national symbols and identity. These findings suggest a positive contribution to strengthening students’ social and ideological resilience. However, students’ critical digital literacy skills require further improvement, as only 54% reported being able to independently evaluate information accuracy. The study concludes that while the implementation of Pancasila values has established a solid foundation for social and ideological resilience, reinforcement in digital literacy and critical thinking-based learning is necessary to respond effectively to the challenges of globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation and supporting and inhibiting factors of strengthening religious moderation through Pancasila-based character education in students of the Islamic Religious Education S1 Study Program at Darul Ulum Islamic Center Sudirman University. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design and a socio-legal approach. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, lecture observations, focus group discussions, and analysis of curriculum documents and Semester Learning Plans. The results of the study show that the integration of Pancasila values in the curriculum, dialogical pedagogical approaches, community service activities, and strengthening digital literacy are the main factors in strengthening students' religious moderation. An inclusive academic culture and lecturer role models also support the internalization of the values of tolerance and national commitment. However, the limitations of the character evaluation system that are not yet longitudinal, the variation in lecturers' pedagogical competencies, and the challenges of digital polarization are obstacles that need to be overcome. This study concludes that Pancasila-based character education has strategic potential in forming prospective religious educators who are moderate and inclusive, noting that it is necessary to strengthen a more systematic assessment system and digital literacy strategy for the sustainability of long-term impacts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of Pancasila values within the dynamics of modern society and to examine how students interpret these values amid globalization and digital development. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at MTs Kyai Abdan Magelang. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis involving the principal, teachers, and students. The findings indicate that students demonstrate a high level of conceptual understanding of Pancasila values (86%) and are able to relate them to school social life (82%). However, in the digital context, only 61% consistently apply value-based ethics in social media use, and 58% are capable of critically verifying information. The transformation of Pancasila values in this madrasah occurs through three main forms: pedagogical transformation via contextual learning, cultural transformation through school culture, and participatory transformation through deliberative practices and social activities. The study concludes that Pancasila values remain relevant in modern society, yet require reinforcement through digital literacy and reflective learning approaches to effectively respond to the challenges of globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile through Civics Education learning at SMK Islam Sudirman Ungaran, Semarang Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research subjects consisted of Civics Education teachers and students at SMK Islam Sudirman Ungaran. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employed an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile through Civics Education learning is carried out through three main stages: planning, implementation, and efforts to address learning challenges. In the planning stage, teachers integrate the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile into learning tools such as teaching modules, learning objectives, and contextual learning activities. During the implementation stage, teachers apply participatory learning methods such as group discussions, case studies, and presentations that encourage students to develop cooperation, critical thinking, and respect for diversity. However, several challenges were identified, including limited instructional time, differences in students’ levels of understanding, and limited variation in teaching methods. Therefore, innovative learning strategies and a supportive school environment are required to optimize the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile.
