Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1.Komunikasi interpersonal teknisi divisi corrective dalam menangani gangguan massal (Gamas). 2.Komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif diantara teknisi divisi corrective. 3.Faktor-faktor penghambat komunikasi interpersonal teknisi divisi corrective di PT. Telkom Akses. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenalogi, yakni mengungkapkan fenomena yang ada dilapangan penelitian. Selain itu, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan yang dilakukan pada saat pengumpulan data berlangsung. Adapun hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di PT. Telkom Akses menunjukan bahwa Komunikasi interpersonal teknisi divisi corrective dalam menangani gangguan massal (Gamas) sudah bagus hal ini dapat dilihat bahwa komunikasi interpersonal yang baik, senantiasa dipenuhi kedekatan dan keakraban antara teknisi divisi corrective di PT. Telkom Akses ketika berkomunikasi yang mendorong team menjadi team yang aktif, berkomitmen dan minat dalam penanganan gangguan. Dan tanda-tanda komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif yang dimiliki teknisi divisi corrective, yaitu: Dapat menimbulkan pengertian, kesenangan, Perubahan pada sikap, Hubungan yang makin baik, Dan menimbulkan tindakan. Dan faktor penghambat komunikas interpersonal, diantaranya keadaan psikologi komunikan, pesan bersifat satu arah, dan penyajian pesan yang verbalistik, dan sebagainya.

Abstract

This study discusses the strategy of the Manakarra Lens Program Editor Team at PT. Manakarra TV West Sulawesi in Improving the Quality of Coverage. The research objectives (1) To determine the strategy and presentation of the Manakarra TV editorial team on the Manakarra Lens program in improving the quality of its news. (2) To trace the production process of the Manakarra Lens program in improving the quality of news. This type of research is qualitative research. This type of research is descriptive research. By using data collection methods, namely, observation, interviews or interviews and documentation. The data sources in this study were obtained from direct interviews with several informants at the research location, including the editor in chief, presenter, editor, cameraman and journalist Lens Manakarra. Data processing and analysis techniques are through data collection, data reduction process, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the first Manakarra Lens news production process was planning, field coverage, audio-visual editing, the production stage by the operator team and post-production evaluating the broadcast. The strategy of the Manakarra Lens program editorial team in improving the quality of the news includes (1) presenting news editors that are concise, precise and easy to understand, (2) presenting program programs about West Sulawesi Province that are factual, actual and balanced. The implication of this research is that PT. Manakarra TV should add more employees, especially in the area of coverage or a team of journalists and recruitment of competent human resources, updating equipment, improving the quality of program packaging and paying attention to errors in the display of programs offered to the public, and presenting more actual news.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were (1) To find out how the exclusion strategy was in reporting the verdict of the Novel Baswedan attacking judge on Kompas TV 12 to 22 June 2020 edition. until 22 June 2020.The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, using a communication approach. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations, documentation and reference tracing. Sources of data used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The data analysis technique used is critical discourse analysis by Theo Van Leeuwen. Where in this analysis, it is carried out with two elements, namely exclusion and inclusion.The results of this study indicate that journalists are very massive in eliminating actors / actors, in this case Rony Bugis and Rahmat Qadir, in reporting through the exclusion strategy of the nominalization model. In the exclusion strategy, seventeen models of nominalization and four models of passivation were found. Meanwhile, the inclusion strategy found nine differential models, fourteen abstraction models, seven categorization models, one determination model and six assimilation models.The implication of this research is that journalists are bound by a work environment which makes them limited. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan Lentera terhadap tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi UIN Alauddin Makassar dan (2) untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat saat menggunakan Lentera terhadap tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi UIN Alauddin Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian kuantitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner dengan skala efektivitas penggunaan media dan tingkat pemahaman. Setelah melakukan uji rumus Slovin, ada 77 sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan ke responden melalui google form dan dokumentasi. Adapun Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan yaitu daya deskriminasi item, uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Sedangkan teknik analisis yang digunakan ialah menggunakan teknik analis korelasi, uji normalitas, uji linearitas dan uji hipotesis lalu penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh positif efektivitas penggunaan Lentera terhadap tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi UIN Alauddin Makassar. Adapun besar tingkat efektivitas, r square = 0,444 atau 44,4%. Nilai tersebut berada pada nilai 0,400 – 0,599 yang artinya masuk dalam kategori sedang. Sisanya 55,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diukur dalam penelitian ini. Kemudian berdasarkan uji hipottesis menggunakan uji t, thitung 7,736 > ttabel,665 pada taraf signifikansi 5% sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak.Beberapa hal yang menjadi hambatan mahasiswa dalam melakukan pembelajaran dengan Lentera diantaranya, informasi yang disajikan tidak mudah dipahami sehingga mempengaruhi mahasiswa dalam penguasaan materi, semangat dalam menyelesaikan tugas yang disebabkan kurangnya motivasi yang diberikan dan efisiensi waktu dalam penggunaan Lentera. Implikasi penelitian (1) Diharapkan lentera agar terus di upgrade untuk memberikan kemudahan mahasiswa dalam mengakses media tersebut. Hal ini mengingat banyak nya fitur-fitur yang terdapat dalam aplikasi tersebut, sementara banyak diantara mahasiswa maupun dosen belum memahami cara penggunaan nya, (2) Keaktifan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran daring dengan memanfaatkan platform lentera dapat mendorong eksistensi aplikasi lentera sebagai media pembelajaran UIN Alauddin Makassar dan (3) Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menjadi rujukan mahasiswa kedepannya ketika ingin melakukan penelitian berkaitan dengan Aplikasi Lentera.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) identify public knowledge of child exploitation news in Bima, and 2) determine public attitudes towards child exploitation news in Bima.This research is a quantitative research with quantitative descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and documentation. The sample used in this study is the community in Sambianae Village who reads the news of child exploitation, totaling 100 respondents. The sample was determined by using a non-probability technique with an incidental sampling method. The data processing technique used in this research is descriptive analysis.The results of this study are: 1) The level of public knowledge of the news of child exploitation in Bima is in the high category as many as 21 respondents with a percentage of 21%, the level of public knowledge in the medium category is 57 respondents with a percentage of 57%, and the level of public knowledge in the low category as many as 22 respondents with a percentage of 22%. 2) The public's attitude towards news of child exploitation in Bima is in the very interested category having a percentage of 42%, 50% in the moderately interested category, and 8% in the disinterested category.The implication of this research is that people can make news as a source of information and digest each news well, so that the news can be used as learning and one of the guidelines for action. The researcher also hopes that this research can be used as a source of data for similar research and that further research will be carried out based on other factors with more varied variables, sample sizes, and indicators.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of pluralism message signs in the documentary film "Beta Mau Meet" and to find out the meaning of pluralism messages in the documentary film "Beta Mau Jumpat". This type of research is descriptive qualitative using John Fiske's semiotic analysis method with three stages of level analysis, namely reality, representation and ideology. The results of the study indicate that there are seven sign scenes that support pluralism in the Beta Mau Jumpa documentary. These seven scenes show the struggle of young people and the women's movement against segregation or class separation that occurred in Ambon, although the armed clashes have ended, the hate narrative is still ongoing and can affect the next generation. the meaning of pluralism in this film refers to maintaining the balance of the principles of humanism, recognizing and respecting the existence of other religions, and freedom of religion. From this, the researcher concludes that understanding differences accompanied by knowledge and understanding in society will create a harmonious relationship.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is how to handle the behavior of Open BO (Booking Online) in the Technical Implementation Unit for Women and Children Protection (UPT PPA) Makassar City? Protection of Women and Children (UPT PPA) Makassar City in dealing with Open BO (Booking Online) behavior; 2) To find out the obstacles of the Technical Implementation Unit for the Protection of Women and Children (UPT PPA) of Makassar City in dealing with Open BO (Booking Online) behavior. This research is a qualitative research with a sociological approach method located in the Technical Implementation Unit for the Protection of Women and Children (UPT PPA) Makassar City. The data sources in this study are based on primary data sources and secondary data sources. The method of data collection is by observation, interviews, and documentation. The instruments in this study were interview guides, cameras, voice recorders, and stationery. After all the data was collected, the researcher conducted data analysis with data reduction, data presentation, comparative analysis techniques, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that, the form of handling the Technical Implementation Unit for the Protection of Women and Children (UPT PPA) of Makassar City in dealing with Open BO (Booking Online) behavior, namely: a) conducting an assessment (assessment); b) provide assistance to victims; c) perform the best service in accordance with the office soup and subsequently fostered in a safe house (shelter); and d) carry out religious training in a safe house (shelter). Obstacles to the Technical Implementation Unit for the Protection of Women and Children (UPT PPA) of Makassar City in dealing with Open BO (Booking Online) behavior, namely: a) current regulations such as the Law on the Eradication of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons (PTPPO) are not effectively used; b) it is difficult to find open BO networks (pimps); c) there is no cooperation and is not recognized by his family; and d) there is no ongoing control or subsequent supervision. Abstract

The dissemination of information in the South Radar Daily which focuses on the 2020 Bulukumba Pilkada news forms the mindset of the people and influences public opinion, therefore the researcher considers the reception of the Pilkada news to be investigated from the perspective of the Bulukumba people's interpretation so that it attracts researchers to raise it with the aim of this research. The purpose of this study was to find out the interpretation and decoding of several people who became informants so that they could get a reception from the people of Bulukumba on the news of the Pilkada in the South Radar Daily. This researcher uses a qualitative descriptive type of research by approaching the science of communication and collecting data from observations, interviews, and documentation. This study uses Stuart Hall's reception theory which is divided into three categories of interpretation, namely dominant hegemony, negotiation, and opposition. There were five informants in this study, namely the Bulukumba people who were then drawn from each profession such as the South Radar Daily Leader, Panwaslu, TPS Committee, Non-Governmental Organizations, and Community Leaders. The results of the research found by the researchers during their research in the field showed that some of the Bulukumba people who were informants had various receptions from the news of the Pilkada in the South Radar Daily according to the experience and knowledge of each resource person. of the five informants who have been interviewed, three sources namely Sunarti Sain, S.E, Al Ihwal, S.Pd, and A. Trisnawati are in the position of Dominant Hegemony or the position of receiving. One informant, namely Syahrul, is in a negotiating position, meaning that he is still comparing the content of the news presented by the South Radar Daily with other media and another informant, Kamaruddin, is in an opposition position, which is refusing to report the election in the South Radar Daily. dominantly made the South Radar Daily print media as the main reference for selecting the candidates for the Regent and Deputy Regent of Bulukumba in 2020. The implication of this research is that the South Radar Daily is expected to remain independent in presenting reliable actual news, especially on the Pilkada news so that the truth can be accounted for and the Bulukumba community is expected to be able to respond to the news that is published wisely so that it can have a good impact on its readers.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the meaning of representation of women's bodies on the Instagram account of photographer @Darwisrtiadiartgallery with a study of Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis, using the media text analysis method with Roland Barthes' semiotic model technique. The data collection technique used is document analysis, obtained bycapturing 5 uploads contained in the feed @Darwistriadiartgallery Instagram.The results show that the denotative meaning that emerges from this stage of meaning is that female body features refer to the entire beauty of the body without using clothes that show some forms of body curves with style variants such as highlighting breasts, hips and culturally shaped feminine characteristics such as long hair, calves. slim, white skin, clean and smooth. Meanwhile, in connotation, the beauty of women is not only seen from the attractive and charming face, but the fragments of the female body which are shown as an ideal body shape also attract public attention and do not regard it as a form of pornography but as a work of art. Finally, the myth that arises from this research is to form a construction that requires that the female body displayed with lighting effects in the photo can eliminate the impression of vulgarity with the photographer's imagination which turns it into a work of art.The implication of this research is for further researchers to further deepen the scope of the representation of women's bodies. So that it is hoped that there will be other research as a comparison against the title of the same research on representation of the female body on the @Darwistriadiartgallery Instagram account by using different semiotic theories so that the knowledge obtained can be more diverse.
